Oh and EasyEdFan87, I'm new too! Just a brief bio, I have been a Broncos fan all my life, and I started analytically covering the Broncos for about three years now. I'm a youngster (I won't say how young) but I am very analytical and pay much attention to the Broncos. Thank you everyone, and I hope to be commenting for years to come!

Danny Trevathan is the "next man up". Trevathan looked nothing short of impressive in the preseason. I like Steven Johnson, but Trevathan will be all over the field. My prediction: Trevathan = 8 tackles and 1 sack

I think people are way too focused on the final preseason games stats. Steven Johnson was not that good, he was solid against a bunch of 3rd stringers. He was on the bubble and barely made it. Sure, he probably has more than Brooking but people demanding this guy starts and act as if he is going to be the next great denver linebacker have another thing coming. He's a rookie. He wasn't even THAT good in preseason.

Newcomer to the board, hello everyone! Just wanted to chime in to say the our Broncos will be just fine without Mays if he doesn't play. Trevathan is a beast, as is Johnson and they're finally gonna end this ugly and pitiful losing streak they have to oakland at home! These linebackers remind me of the old speedy LB's like Gold, Wilson, and Mobley. Also I have a feeling we'll (hopefully) see Peyton's no huddle before the 2nd half. Predicting oakland 12 Denver 31.

I'd rather see Johnson before Brooking any day. Steven Johnson will Be The Mike! and He will do well.

Ramirez should be fine, He's no Kuper but I think He will be ok.

I would also like to see Manning get rid of the ball a hair quicker early in the game too.

OH! yeah! forgot about Steven Johnson.. If Nate's not ready put this kid in. Him and Brooking can man that MLB all day! and Have Travathan change btw Woodyard and Miller on the outside,,, we need speed against this team..and I think they have a better defensive front than the falcons and houston.. IMO..Ramirez better get his game on...........
