So what is the whole deal with Burfict? If noone wants to explain the deal can you link me to an article on him?
Only other LBs I like are Trvianathan of however its spelled from Kentucky Tank Carder from TCU and Emmanual Acho from Texas.

His measureables were a lot lower than expected, he has inconsistent tape, and has LOTS of off the field issues.

Lovin the draft so far…
I know we haven’t picked any of the big names, but we’ve gotten quite a few quality studs. Big ASU fan here…the Bolden pick is gonna end up being the steal of the whole damn draft.

I really wanted Derek Carrier WR Beloit College but the Raiders will take him at 129
Scalp basically he was great on the field. Character concerns and many have questions about him learning the game in the NFL. Also said that he only entered the draft because he wasnt academically eligible to play next year at ASU
So has he been charged with things? Or jus dope? (I realize a dope charge is a big deal to some people but not to me) I hear a lot of people talking about him in the late rounds.

I know he failed his latest drug test Scalp, but aside from that it’s academics, too many personal fouls, and other things of that ilk.
If we get him at 188 and he Booms! Now THAT would be the steal of the draft!
Our solid coaching staff could address a lot of those things though right?

I could see that happening, very easily! I’m just really on the fence at this point. But hey, two of my favorite players (Tillman and Plummer) came from ASU, so I’m willing to take a shot on him haha

The way I see it we have had a VERY solid, safe and prudent draft. I think we’ve earned a good ‘ol roll of the dice..

Obviously not so much the academics part but with play on the field, taking care of his body that sort of thing. And yeah exactly AB take a risk, If he busts who cares lol it was only a 6th.
And it seems Elway has no issues cutting and dealing people so if he doesn’t pan out we kick him out the door

Also I watched a lot of tape on that Hillman dude, I am very excited to see him play! I jus see Peyton on 3rd and 6-8 hitting this guy on a screen and bursting downfield for 20!! Only thing is he didnt really play against top competition right?

Hillman looks like a BEAST!!!! I have heard nothing but comparisons between him and Marshall Faulk.
Ta’amu come off right after we took Blake.. We did need some OL depth, especially with Kuper coming off an injury.
Wonder when Winn comes off.. Would love if he fell to us!
OT, I think he might, but I also am curious if we’d even go after Winn. Really strong player but not might be the one we’re looking at.
Winn is a STUD!!! I have a hard time believing that Crawford actually came off the board first….

BT Yes an no. IMO Both are real good but Winn is a lot better. He has position flexibility. Can be a DE in a 4-3 or 3-4 or DT in a 4-3. His size doesnt fit as a 4-3 DE but his athleticism makes him a fit. Crawford isnt as diverse just a 4-3 DE and wouldnt be able to work in another scheme. He also benefited from having McClellin and Winn there who took the double teams.
Not many highlights, but it’s something for those curious about our new CB

BT – I really liked Ta’amu as well, but we really did need some OL depth, so I’m okay with it. Now we’re set at OL, even if we have injuries. We can ill afford not to have depth up front on the OL
I would love to trade a 3rd next year for a 4th this year or a 4th next year for a 5th this year to get him IF we can pull a trade like that and if he falls. I still want Coale in the 5th and Burfict if there in the 6th.
Im upset we went oline over dt too turtle. McFadden has been gashing us for too long. We’ve gotta get tougher in the middle!
I think if Denver goes DT, LB with or Burfict and a DT with the last two picks I would be less frustrated with the overall performance of this draft…
So far I can’t grade us higher than a C-
