Broncos Partner with Buick and GMC

July 28th, 2012 - 10:23am by Stuart Zaas

The Denver Broncos have announced a partnership with Buick and GMC to make the local dealers official partners of the organization.

Buick and GMC will have significant brand presence at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, including naming rights to the stadium parking lots, in addition to being featured on the Broncos’ practice jerseys.

“The Denver Broncos are thrilled to align with Buick and GMC, adding these historic brands to our family of corporate partners,” Broncos Senior Vice President of Business Development Mac Freeman said. “It’s going to be an exciting season and we are grateful and proud to announce this affiliation.”

“Buick and GMC are excited to announce this partnership in conjunction with the start of Broncos training camp,” added Kate Hardy, Regional Director of Buick-GMC of General Motors. “This opportunity allows us and our local Denver Buick GMC dealers to connect with the loyal and passionate fans of the Denver Broncos. We appreciate the legacy of this organization and are proud to be associated with the most powerful sports franchise in the Rocky Mountain region.”

Brock Osweiler the #2 QB in 7 on 7.

  3. OrangeTsunami says:

freak – I’m really excited about Osweiler. From the little footage I’ve seen on him from camp, his motion looks much improved

  4. Royalbroncofan1 says:

PostBroncos In running game team work, McGahee + Ball with the first/second reps; Hillman and J. Johnson with second team. No full team yet for Moreno.

Derek Wolfe had half a sack and recovered a fumble (bad snap) in consecutive plays from right end.

  6. broncosfreak718 says:

Love to see Wolfe already getting it done in only the 3rd day of training camp!! I think he’s going to be huge!!!

You have to look at it this way, Doom and Miller will be drawing the most attention so Wolfe will be flying under the radar!!

Here’s to hoping Wolfe sacking Big Ben come week 1!!!

  7. OrangeTsunami says:

Wolfe is an animal… Literally.. :D

  8. OrangeTsunami says:

We desperately need to improve on our turnover ratio this year. The stat I’m most closely following this year is Forced Fumbles, and DWolfe is gonna be right in the middle of a bunch of them!

Loved seeing Mark Dell with that one handed catch today, I think he has a good shot of making the 53 man roster this year.

  9. alaskanbronco06 says:

OT With Page gone I now agree with you. We need another small quick WR to complement the bigger guys we have IMO

  10. OrangeTsunami says:

I hope so AB, I got a real good feeling about him. Not going to be easy though. How many WR’s you think we’ll carry? 5?

  11. OrangeTsunami says:

    Definate roster spots:

    Thomas
    Decker
    Caldwell

    Most likely:

    Stokely

    Everyone else:

    Dell
    Robinson
    Hill
    Willis
    Goodwin
    Orton
    Grisham

  12. alaskanbronco06 says:

I think we will carry at least 6. Im sure we will run some 5 WR sets so having at least 1 extra on the roster would be nice to sub in to keep others rested.

DMT Decker and Caldwell are givens. Stokley i think will also make it. I hope Willis gets cut but if he doesnt he will make it. So 1 spot (Or two if my hope becomes reality) for Goodwin, Dell, Hill, Orton, Robinson, and Grisham. My two hopes would be Robinson and Dell now.

  13. alaskanbronco06 says:

IMO how the breakdown would be.

    3 QBs
    4 RBs
    1 FB
    6 WRs
    4 TEs
    7 Olinemen

    25 on Offense

    4 S
    6 CBs
    6 LBs
    4 DEs
    4 DTs

    25 on Defense

    1 K
    1 P
    1 LS

    3 ST

  14. OrangeTsunami says:

Looks good to me, but you only got 24 on Defense

  15. broncosfreak718 says:

Deck, Thomas, Caldwell, Stoke, Willis, Hill/Dell

  16. broncosfreak718 says:

    I would like to keep 7 WR’s!

That way we could keep Deck, Thomas, Caldwell, Stoke, Willis, Hill, and Dell!

Idk why people want Willis gone. He’s been very good the past couple of years and seems to be doing great in training camp! He lit it up with Tebow last year in the preseason!!

  17. OrangeTsunami says:

    Maybe 7 LB’s?

    Miller
    Mays
    Williams
    Woodyard
    Trevathan
    Irving
    Johnson/Mohamed/FA

  18. alaskanbronco06 says:

    QB Manning Haine Brock

    RB McGahee Hillman Moreno Fannin

    FB Gronkowski

WR DMT, Decker, Caldwell, Stokley, Robinson, Dell

    TE Tamme, Dressen, Thomas, Green

OLine Clady, Kuper, Walton, Beadles, Franklin, Harris, Blake

    DE Doom Jackson Ayers Hunter

    DT Wolfe Bannan Warren Vick

LB W2 Treviathan Irving Miller Mays Williams

CB Florence Squid Bailey Porter Harris Bolden

    S Adams Carter Moore Ihenacho

    K Prater

    P Colquitt

    LS Brewer

  19. alaskanbronco06 says:

Oops lol 5 DTs. Siliga being the 5th.

  20. alaskanbronco06 says:

Freak thats it though hes been good in training camp and been a disappointment in the season. Not to mention he knocks out his teammates.

  21. OrangeTsunami says:

You got Nacho making it over Bruton?

  22. OrangeTsunami says:

I LOVE Siligia!!! We definitely keep 5 DT’s, scrap the 7 LB idea, just threw it out there b/c of DJ’s suspension

  23. alaskanbronco06 says:

OT yes. I like what Nacho brings to the table over Bruton.

  24. broncosfreak718 says:

    Ab..

Hardly anyone looked good with Tebow as QB. Willis has been making great plays in training camp and I definitely see him making the team. I think he’ll be great this year if given the opportunity…the same with Dell!

  25. alaskanbronco06 says:

OT yea even though hes suspended I still think only 6 LBs 5 without him obviously.

  26. broncosfreak718 says:

Also Bruton will make the team as well! He contributes way too much on special teams to not make the team! Same with Willis as he’s also very good on special teams!

  27. OrangeTsunami says:

That’s fine with me. If Nacho steps it up and beats out Bruton, I’m all for it.

  28. alaskanbronco06 says:

Freak hes been impressive the last two years in camp as well and granted the QBs were Orton and Tebow he still didnt bring it in the regular season. So to me hes a camp stud but a season bum.

  29. OrangeTsunami says:

I like Bruton too freak, and i think he is underrated. I personally think he makes the team, but if this young buck beats him out, I won’t loose any sleep over it.

  30. alaskanbronco06 says:

Freak Willis knocks out his own teammates on ST. Thats not very good. As for Bruton I like what he does on ST but Ihenacho can do that as well.

  31. Bronco_Turtle says:

I will be highly disappointed if ‘My Boy’ Willis gets a Roster spot… He’s only good against deep zone coverages where he sits underneath in an open hole, he is not a downfield threat despite his speed and I honestly don’t remember a single reception of his when he had any YAC… He is a possession reciever at best and if we Keep Stokes there is absolutely no need for him here

  32. OrangeTsunami says:

My problem with Willis started for me on the INT against the Bears. It was a bad throw, and he had little shot at it, but he made ZERO attempt to defend it, and it looked like he could have broken it up had he tried. And then there’s the play when he knocked Royal over on a return that might have gone the distance. He just seems a tad clumsy IMO.

  33. Bronco_Turtle says:

AB… I think Beal has a shot to beat out Hunter for the 4th DE spot… Showed real flashes as Rook in Pre-Season last year of pressing upfield and I really think he gets a chance this year… couple that witht fact that Hunter is the lone McD hold over that wasn’t a draft choice and it spells bad news for Hunter, I don’t count Bannan since he was released and resigned by this regime

  34. alaskanbronco06 says:

Him being a TC stud season bum to me sayd “He ima work hard to stay and get money then when I get it ima relax and not work as hard”

  35. alaskanbronco06 says:

BT Beal and Hunter was another hard choice for me to choose which would make it (Bruton/Ihenacho was another) I like both players but theres something that pushes me just a bit towards one. For me I just think that subbing in for Doom Hunter is a better compliment than Beal.

  36. Bronco_Turtle says:

I think Beal has the edge being a Draft Choice of this staff, and he is just more athletic, I won’t be disappointed if either take the spot, I hope Blatnik is kept on the Practice Squad, that kid has potential also

  37. alaskanbronco06 says:

BT I agree about Blatnik and with not being disappointed about Hunter/Beal taking that spot. I really like what both bring. And I agree that Beal does have the edge with the staff than Hunter.

  38. alaskanbronco06 says:

    New blog

  39. sndvl says:

I think we only keep 3 RBs. So Moreno/Fannin
    3TEs. Green is cut.
5 WRs. So Willis, Robinson, Dell or Orton battle it out for #5
To replace the cut TE, an extra Olineman. (Isn’t Hochstein still on the team? If not Manny Ramirez)
Ben Garland as a 5th DE
    And Siliga/Unrein as a 5th DT.
With DJ missing half the season, I think we keep an extra LB too. Mohammad?
I also believe Bruton over Nacho at safety.

But it’s still early, and all this is speculation :)

I’m sure every member of the final roster will undoubtedly earn that spot and be key contributors.

    Broncos Country Strong 2012!

  40. wolfedom says:

I like Willis and with the talent we now have at QB I think he will shine. I think Moreno needs to find the door. I feel that Wolfe will add a new dimension to our defense and expect big things from Ayers as well.

  41. Broncos20 says:

Hey you guys didnt mention Page.. Is he still on the roster? I thought he was our best chance at PR/KR..IMO

  42. I didn’t find any where to sign up for the chance to win

  43. I want to win go Peyton u are awesome!!!!
