The Broncos have answered the Steelers touchdown drive.
With 13:10 left in the fourth quarter, Matt Prater connected on a 35-yard field goal to give Denver a 10-point lead, 23-13. It’s Prater’s third field goal of the contest.
The score capped a methodical 12-play, 41-yard drive that ate up 6:19 of clock.
The Broncos got all the way down to the Steelers 10-yard line but a wide receiver screen pass to Eddie Royal that would’ve given the Broncos a first down at the 3-yard line was wiped out on a holding call.
The key play for the Broncos came a few plays earlier, on third-and-5, when Tebow found running back Lance Ball on an short sideline route for the first down. In an area where they’ve struggled all year, the Broncos are 6-for-13 on third down in this game, which has helped them sustain drives.
The Steelers start on their own 20-yard line following the touchback.
