It’s almost time to start filling out those brackets for the NCAA Tournament.
But there’s another bracket Broncos fans — and Madden fans — might be even more interested in.
The tournament to determine the cover athlete for Madden NFL ’13 is now live, but it’s up to Broncos fans to decide who will represent the franchise in the 32-man bracket.
Quarterback Tim Tebow, who helped direct Denver to the AFC West title, and linebacker Von Miller, last season’s Defensive Rookie of the Year, are in the running during the two-week, play-in round.
From now until March 21, Broncos fans can vote on SportsNation’s Facebook page for either Tebow or Miller to advance to the next round.
The winners of the play-in round for each team will be announced on ESPN on March 21, when fans can continue voting round-by-round to decide who will grace the Madden cover.
Last season, the vote for the cover generated more than 13 million votes as fans chose Cleveland running back Peyton Hillis.

Just heard an NFL network insider and former long time NFL executive (forgot his name) interviewed on sports radio here in NY. And he said he had Miami as his favorite, with Denver being his dark horse to land Manning… Listening to him keep bringing up Denver when the host shot it down, has me thinking for the first time that this might actually happen… I think it’s unlikely, but I now do believe it is a real possibility… Not sure how I feel about either to be honest, as initially I was against the idea, but if he comes in and we draft defense, and he grooms Tebow, I could think of a lot worse things to happen to our franchise…
Imagine if we got Manning, and drafted Hill…. LOL!
I don’t think we stand a chance at getting Peyton I just hope the Chiefs don’t get him either. Honestly there a good qb away from being serious contenders. But then again so are we
All signs are pointing to Miami, and I wish it would happen already…. But I do think we’re in the race, and I don’t know how I feel about it…
All I know is, I’m behind whichever way we go!
I dont like it i think its money we could use elsewhere. Timmy T is gonna improve more and more. Let Manning go to Miami. I think thats where he wants to go. I mean he bought a house there in January. I think all signs are pointing there. Plus Manning most likely wont play like he was before his injury.
Miami would be a good fit for him it makes since. If Mcdaniels was here he would sign Peyton then trade up to get rg3 then trade Peyton for castle and fire Tebow for being too liked. Oh man the good old day’s lol
What I heard was – Broncos want Manning, and if they get him, they trade Tebow to Jacksonville … that trade would make sense from “local yokel” perspective – plus – then there’d be no circus here … then they could groom Weber or someone else over 3 years, and hopefully make it to the Super Bowl one of those three years … I hope it happens, but don’t realistically think it will … I’d be glad to see the Tebow circus end …

I’ve been hearing similar things.. Like this is the only chance our FO has to rid them of Tebowmania without completely pissing off the fan base.. Not sure if I’m buying it personally, but of course, none of us outside of Dove Valley know for sure…
While I think it’s very unlikely, I think we all need to buckle our seat belts, and prepare ourselves, b/c the winds of change might be heading straight for Denver…

we will all know the actual truth by the end of next week.. I think chances are more real then some might feel that Peyton comes. JE had a nice conversation with Manning about a month ago. I would bet half my rations that he ends up here.
I don’t want him. Hes old, expensive, and one hit away from done. It’s actually sickening that our FO is jumping all over this. It shows what little faith they actually have in our young team. So much for rebuilding..
Personally, I would like to see what Tebow can do with a full off season to train. But, Manning would be a big upgrade if the QB from 2 years ago shows up. Either would be fine with me, I really would like to see Mario Williams in Denver next year!
