Broncos Launch Online Historical Database

September 8th, 2011 - 11:22am by Max Henson

The Denver Broncos announced the launch of an online historical database on their media website Thursday, encompassing every season since the team’s inception as an original AFL charter franchise in 1960.

The database, which can be accessed by visiting here, includes digitalized and bookmarked media guides from each year as well as gamebooks, flipcards and other related materials from every game in Broncos history.

The historical database is accessible to media and fans (no registration or login required), and each entity on the site can be viewed or downloaded in PDF format.

Believed to be the first of its kind in professional or collegiate sports, the comprehensive online archive is intended to make the Broncos’ history easily and openly accessible to everyone.

Haggan has been hurt and if Mays falters Haggan will take his spot, not Irving.

  2. BeastFromEast92 says:

bronctario,I beg to differ Ayers is much better against the run than Doom!

  3. royalbroncofan1 says:

That’s true BFE, our strongside should do good out there. Mays will need to fight of his block and fill gap. Mays is going to have his hands full, but with D-Dawk in for run support, we should be able to stuff them, or at least I hope so.

  4. baylinorcrush says:

raidrhadr, you lost me after the keg, nothing but a beer man here!

  5. raidrhadr says:

Me too bay. Like I said the Donkey Punch is a ritual so it can’t be ignored. Just a fun time though.

  6. BeastFromEast92 says:

rbf1,our strongside should our strongest vs the run, imo.

  7. baylinorcrush says:

If Dawk comes in to help Mays stop the run watch out for the dump passes to TE Kevin Boss over the middle, as I was saying earlier. Another one of our achilles heel.

  8. BeastFromEast92 says:

    *should be

  9. Mikeyb1203 says:

I don’t know if Doom is as bad at the run as advertised. Did any one see the pitch to the right that Doom stretched the play out with two blockers on him and then broke through and made a tackle for a loss.

  10. raidrhadr says:

Don’t say that bay….TEs….dump pass….AHHHH!!!! Bad memory from last year….ugh.

  11. BeastFromEast92 says:

If Dawk is gonna start,we have to help him out covering the TEs,put a LB or another Safety on them,or we’ll get torched all year!

  12. baylinorcrush says:

A lot of you guys are excited about our new safeties, but frankly in the early games it is a major concern of mine and I think Campbell will test them hard and often, I would.

  13. raidrhadr says:

Mikeyb1203: Check my 8:47 post. I agree Doom appears to have improved there.

  14. BeastFromEast92 says:

Mikey,I’ve seen Doom improving against the run in preseason,he is getting better, but Ayers is just better at stopping the run.

Somebody say something about a keg of beer?

  15. raidrhadr says:

BFE our scheme this year should see the sam (Williams/Woodyard) covering TEs more.

  16. baylinorcrush says:

That doesn’t make me feel any better raidrhadr, haha.

  17. BeastFromEast92 says:

bay,Moore can’t be worse than Hill,I think he will make a fine Safety, that’s why I had him on my mock draft board.
I do agree that a Rookie Safety should be tested, but hopefully he will lay some wood to the opposition!

  18. BeastFromEast92 says:

    LMAO@bay!

  19. baylinorcrush says:

If we lose to the Raiders it will be because of their runing attack and short passing game is what I’m thinking is all.

  20. baylinorcrush says:

Yeah BFE, been there done that trying to cover the TE with our sam…

  21. BeastFromEast92 says:

Anybody is better than Dawk’s 38 year old legs, man he’s just lost so much when it comes to speed. But as hard as he has played over the years, his body has taken a Helluva beating!!!
Hopefully Moore and Carter learn a lot from him this year,I think Moore already has!

  22. raidrhadr says:

That means with a safety over the top with responsibility to the edges too so….I see your point. But at least it won’t be just man coverage with a safety that is not known for his coverage skills.

  23. royalbroncofan1 says:

You mean “will” for weakside.. right? (Woodyard).

    Our strongside is “sam” (Von).
    (Mays) will be “mike”.

I get what you’re saying BFE… strongside will be our strongsuit.

  24. baylinorcrush says:

Well yeah Moore isn’t known as a hard hitter and look at the lick he laid out on the sideline!

  25. BeastFromEast92 says:

Maybe we’ll wreak a little havoc on Defenses with our new TEs,something we haven’t been able to do in a couple of years (the McD error).

  26. royalbroncofan1 says:

Sorry- first part was for raidrhadr on his 10:10am post.

  27. baylinorcrush says:

    Yeah, weakside.

  28. BeastFromEast92 says:

I am loving what I’m seeing outta Moore,I think Dawk will be a great mentor for him and Carter.Did you see how excited Dawk was when Moore laid that guy out,he was pumped up!

  29. baylinorcrush says:

    weak/will
    strong/sam
    middle/mike

Shouldn’t be that hard to remember, thanks for correction.

  30. BeastFromEast92 says:

Easy to get them confused sometimes.

  31. baylinorcrush says:

    w/w
    s/s
    m/m

    Hard to remember???

    After a keg maybe, LOL.

  32. BeastFromEast92 says:

Alright guys nice Broncin’ with you,but gotta go do some things, later!

  33. BeastFromEast92 says:

    LMAO@bay……so true!

  34. royalbroncofan1 says:

Our corners need to jam the wide receivers, you can slow up the deep routes with support over the top.

  35. royalbroncofan1 says:

Have a good one BFE – TGIF!!

  36. strandoftds says:

    Is it MNF yet?!

  37. stevecan2 says:

the funniest thing about the LB thing, is that most people don’t even know what makes the weak v strong side…

  38. stevecan2 says:

probably because they don’t specify in Madden lol

  39. stevecan2 says:

two new blogs. I was first on both. BOOYAA finally first in something. :)

  40. stevecan2 says:

wait. no, not true I am almost always first to look a fool.

  41. strandoftds says:

    Two new blogs.

  42. raidrhadr says:

royal….yes did I say sam? I meant will…weakside….Williams or in his place Woodyard. Sorry no coffee this morning!!!!

  43. baylinorcrush says:

5 today and 4 yesterday, definitely a record of some sort.
