Broncos Game-Winning Drive Earns Award

November 25th, 2011 - 4:55pm by Stuart Zaas

For the second straight week, and third time this season, the Broncos have earned the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week.

Denver’s 95-yard game-winning drive against the Jets was voted as the moment or play of the week that best represents determination and perseverance.

The Broncos won the award for Tim Tebow’s 56-yard touchdown pass late in Denver’s 17-10 victory over Kansas City and also for their for come-from-behind victory over Miami in Week 7.

My hands are like that from wrestling and other combat sports. Can’t close my left hand on a hammer very often anymore.

What’s that country song? I’m as good once, as I ever was. Haha.

  2. canadasbroncfan says:

wow, me losing 2 teeth playing hockey dosent look that bad now

  3. strandoftds says:

Wow! Thats the risk we take when we get into sports. One day at a time. I don`t know how you deal with it but you got my respect. I have a low loterence for pain. I`m hurting, I`m miserable. Yikes!

  4. baylinorcrush says:

That’s probably why I have little tolerance for A-holes, LOL.

  5. strandoftds says:

    ooops, tolerance.

  6. Louisianabroncofan says:

Ow man thats crazy. When did that happen? I like skiing and those events make me cringe, especially when someone falls.

  7. baylinorcrush says:

I was on the world tour from 1983 through 1986.

  8. Louisianabroncofan says:

Any video of you skiing I can check out online bay?

  9. strandoftds says:

Man, that takes balls!! Your crazy Bay!!

  10. baylinorcrush says:

Yeah, when I hear football players complaining about concussions and their long term consequences I know what they are talking about, was out cold like for three minutes on that fall.

  11. daddybronc says:

I do Glucosamine / Chondroitin daily, and I take 4 Advil before a softball game, but I’m still doing pretty well.

  12. strandoftds says:

Geesh, 118 MPH, No Way Jose!! Not ME!!

  13. baylinorcrush says:

With some of the hate fans I have here I still need to keep a low profile as to my identity, but yeah there is stuff out there, in fact my office where I sit with my computer has dozens of skiing framed pics on the walls of races I skied in.

  14. strandoftds says:

I don`t blame you for that Bay, wise, very wise.

  15. daddybronc says:

Yeah Bay – you’re gonna have to be like Elway and ignore your tweets.

  16. strandoftds says:

    LMAO!!

  17. Louisianabroncofan says:

No prob I certainly understand that. But that’s all still fascinating! I have always lived in warmer climates but love the winter Olympics and really like to watch the skiing events. My wife hates when the winter Olympics are on cuz I take over the tv. Summer olympics too but not like the winter.

  18. canadasbroncfan says:

you must of battled against the “crazy canucks”

  19. daddybronc says:

I fell asleep on motorcycle and ended up in a head-on with a Chrysler Lebaron Convertible. I think cumulative speed was close to 90mph. I split that helmet in half, but I walked away and refused treatment. It was 6 hours later I realized I broke a couple of fingers. No videos- no glory – no top of my game – no top of the world. Just dumb!

  20. Pakaloloman says:

Man, you old saltdogs, percivierance, internal fortitude, and mental disicplan, mad props to you all. I was whacked by a car going between 35-40 mph, didnt brake a bone, but i had to rehab for over a year to learn to walk, pea, even talk properly again, for a while it felt like life hated me personley, life perspectives change after that, just happy with famly and some Bronco wins now, simple life , day to day

  21. daddybronc says:

    Me too Pakman.

  22. daddybronc says:

I have 4 boy 10 yo and younger. I gotta figure out how to stay active until I’m 65 or 70 till they are all out of the house.

  23. seweatherman1 says:

    Broncos 24
    Chargeyyes 13

  24. Pakaloloman says:

wowwee, dadybronc, ive two boys n a girl, 4, 2, and 8months, but they keep me supper busy, while my wife hunts the paycheck, i feel good raising them though, it has givin me purpose

  25. daddybronc says:

Guess we killed a perfectly good football blog.

  26. daddybronc says:

Actually I’ve got 7 girls and 6 boys – my reference was just about the younger ones. The boys are a lot more work for me than the girls.

  27. daddybronc says:

    Good bid weatherman!

  28. Pakaloloman says:

thats gota b like 6-8 kids you hav? Crazyness, yuo definatly got my respect., and thanks to all Bronco Brothers for keepin it real,………… GO BRONCOS……….VONDOOOM,,, gota go make me some Kool Aid

  29. Pakaloloman says:

I was once told by some one that if you had ten or more kids you become tax exempt for life?( old by-law for the farming class) do you know if theirs any validity to that,

  30. seweatherman1 says:

Yep I see us pretty much sweeping these last games with the improving our team is doing every week. The biggest thing is keeping everybody healthy.

  31. broncos fanatic85 says:

Dang! I did freestyle BMX for 6 1/2 years and took many spills on concrete, dirt, and even racked myself on a few rails! (I honestly think thats why I can’t have kids now.) But I managed to never break a bone! I only srpained my ankles numerous times! Guess I’m pretty lucky considering some of the dumb stuff I used to pull! (except for not being able to have kids of course!)

  32. daddybronc says:

Not – it is just real difficult to make enough to have to pay income tax. I pay out the nose with the 15.3 SS tax, because I’m self employed.

  33. Pakaloloman says:

Go kool-aid vissions!!!, a sweep?, mabe , sure would be nice, but i dont wana get to eccited, GO BRONCOS n get some rivers D!!!!!

  34. Pakaloloman says:

im a look that up, n thank you dadybronc that makes more sense now

  35. daddybronc says:

Even though we have had the Pats number – that’s the game that worries me.
CHI and BUF too – but I think Brady cuts our defense to pieces.

  36. daddybronc says:

But because I generally consume as much of that Kool-Aid as the rest of you consume beer – cumulatively!!! I’ll go with the sweep! LOL

  37. seweatherman1 says:

I’m going to regress a bit, basically because I have not been on here much these past few days. I read over the blogs and was suprised at those that supported what SUH did.

I watched the game, and the play, over and over several times, then listened to his lame excuse/reasoning that he gave afterward. To me, this type of play is not what the NFL is all about. IF the GB player did something to provoke SUH that is one thing, but what I saw on the film did not show any provocation. SUH has already had 3 strikes within 12 months for the same thing. Those 3 strikes only cost him a total of just over $40k. To me, that is rediculous. This guy has to either be stopped or banned from this game before he intentionally puts somebody in a wheelchair, or worse. I don’t see a 3 or even a 5 game suspension for this, not when you have had 3 strikes for the same thing.

  38. Pakaloloman says:

dang, thats what im talkn bout, need a gallon of Kool-Aid to think we could sweep it, and all i got left is a quart, i feel like a win over diego is enuf to feel like some major progress has been made, the d in the jets game was impressive,…, most impressive, but we are not jedi yet ( been thinkin Tebow uses the force) haha

  39. daddybronc says:

besides – I wasn’t bloggin here when you all made your season predictions so I am free to enjoy the wins. LOL

  40. daddybronc says:

weatherman – I’m with you. Kick him out! It has got to cost him enough that nobody else ever attempts that kind of behavior again!

  41. DBFanFromAzViaMD says:

Rest of season/playoffs if they make it suspension should be imposed at a minimum.

  42. broncos fanatic85 says:

The pats game scares you? I see that being a close game. The one I’m most nervous about right now is the Bolts tomorrow! I just dont feel good about this one! I hope I’m wrong though!!!

  43. Pakaloloman says:

No way even in retaliation is that kind of behavior acceptable, for a normal citezen that would b a 3rd degree assalt charge. I have a brother (nice guy) accept he s been a lions fan as long as ive been a Bronco Fan, he agrees with me that suh should b suspended for rest of season. Absolutly not the image or standard the nfl wants to set and hope they throw the book at him.

  44. strandoftds says:

That act by Suh reminds me of another but in college. Marcus Vick stomped on Elvis Dumerville after Doom sacked him. Anyone remember that. Then low and behold Doom gets picked by the Broncosthat following draft. If anyone doesn`t know who Marcus Vick is, he`s the younger brother of Michael Vick. Marcus acts just like a hoodlum, a real punk.

  45. seweatherman1 says:

Actually, Pakaloloman, what he committed was Battery, and since the Battery was with cleated shoes, it would be agg. battery, which raises it to felony.

  46. daddybronc says:

The biggest problem in this is that they under responded to the Haynesworth battery situation.

  47. strandoftds says:

I just now got 3 Brocos t-stirts from my parents for my b-day. Ones Orange crush colors that says Broncos Country on it, real cool. The other is blue with the old logo, cool. But the third is a kmart special with the name Moreno on the back. My God, what do I do with that one. Uggh!

  48. Pakaloloman says:

assault: did knowingly and intentionlay inflict bodily damage to named defendent, was thinking thaats the minimum charge, but it might b state dependent. wher you from seaweather?

  49. seweatherman1 says:

Very true, but they can “make-it-right” here though, and send a CLEAR message throughout the league.

  50. seweatherman1 says:

I live in sw FL. Arcadia to be exact.
