  2. LegionOfVonDoom says:

Somehow I knew NE would play on Sunday and we would get the Saturday game.

  3. alaskanbronco06 says:

Its because the Falcons are ranked the #1 NFL team and get the Sunday game. So the AFC #1 plays on Saturday.

  4. RH709 says:

What is with Knowshon and shoes? Seriously!!!

  5. RH709 says:

I dont do the in-game blogs so I am sure I missed some stuff.

  7. Bronco_Turtle says:

So… today we allowed a net of 26 passing yards! That is amazing! 49 yards minus 26 sack yards! That is unreal!

  8. Bronco_Turtle says:

So Excited for the Playoffs to start!!! Houston fans have to be hating life right now… Cincy is playing good Defense! Should be a fun weekend all the way around!

    B-R-O-N-C-O-S BRONCOS BRONCOS BRONCOS!!!!

  9. alaskanbronco06 says:

I want to see the Texans and Colts win.

  10. Bronco_Turtle says:

We also averaged 4.0 yards per carry as a team! Did I mention I’m getting excited already! what a great time to be a Broncos Fan!!!

  11. alaskanbronco06 says:

We held another good RB to 53 yards.

  12. Bronco_Turtle says:

Hey AB! I’m looking forward to the WSH/SEA game… should be great! Wilson v RGIII in WSH so that is the game I’m most excited for

  13. alaskanbronco06 says:

That is the game I cant wait to see either. I want Redskins to pull it off.

  14. AZBroncolover says:

I just visited the Texan’s board, and they are PO’ed big time… Calling for Kubiak’s head… Even want WADE to take over… Wouldn’t that be peachy…

  15. Bronco_Turtle says:

Crazy AZ! They have 12 wins and feel like they let it slip away!!! HAHA! I’m feeling guilty that the season is over already… weird! It went so fast, plus with all the wins in a row it’s like that warm fuzzy feeling never really subsides and you get so used to it that you just expect it then wham, 11 weeks later the season is over and you are the #1 Seed! Thank you Peyton

  16. tlcat06 says:

Ok, I’m going to say this once and then I’ll shut up about MVP. I am a Bronco fan and I know that I can’t see the forest through the trees when it comes to Peyton Manning, but we stick up for our own. I don’t care if you think AD should get MVP or not. You’ve got to be a homer about this because he is our blood now. He bleeds orange and blue and has now had his second best season in his 15 year career with OUR football team. That is why I’m so stubborn about MVP. Now, if I had my way he’d get CBPOY, MVP and SB MVP… But I don’t get a vote and I can’t play on Sundays! Lets not look sat anything and just enjoy a week of other fans teams losing int he p,at offs before our run to the SB commences. Imagine if we win the SB and they didn’t give MVP to Manning this year. Stupid. So, I’m going with Manning for the most important reason of all… He is a Denver Bronco.

  17. tlcat06 says:

I am super bummed they don’t play on Sunday. That’s my 30th birthday. :(

  18. RH709 says:

Im calling him Noshoe Moreno now. We ran well as a team but Noshoe needs to tape them to his legs or something.

Too bad Oz only got to throw 3 passes.

  19. RH709 says:

    Manning has been increadible.

  20. sndvl says:

    What a year!
From that improbable playoff win in January, to the biggest FA signing EVER, the questions & uncertainty surrounding that signing, the draft, the training camp contest (I was one of the daily winners lol), opening night, the 2-3 start, the improbable 2nd half on Monday night against SD, all the way to 11 straight wins, a 13-3 record and the #1 overall seed heading into the playoffs-

    Whoa!

    Nothing left to say but…

    Broncos Country Strong 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. OTbroncos says:

Great game! I love me some Denver Broncos!

Living in NY, I can honestly say the playoff ticket prices seem VERY fair IMO. I also understand and appreciate giving first dips to fans living in the region. We NEED to maintain home field advantage, and by opening up ticket sales to everyone, it will invite the ticket brokers, and will indirectly increase the prices in the secondary market.

  22. sndvl says:

3 more wins, for that 3rd Lombardi trophy, just in time for 2013… Call me sentimental, but I want to see the Colts at Mile High in the divisional round.

    I’ll bet Peyton does too!

  23. OTbroncos says:

    *first dibs

  24. tlcat06 says:

I agree OT, but then I love in Wyoming so how could I argue with your logic?

  25. alaskanbronco06 says:

Did anyone see or hear about Foster doing this today? I didnt till just a few minutes ago. What a cool thing to do.

    http://www.thebiglead.com/index.php/2012/12/30/arian-foster-pays-respect-to-chuck-pagano-after-scoring-td-gif/

  26. wolfedom says:

Thanks AB, I had read where he did that but hadn’t seen the vid. High character player. He would look good in the orange and blue.

  27. sndvl says:

    That was classy!

  28. RH709 says:

I saw that Foster highlight. Very cool.

  29. sndvl says:

Atl- The last team Elway played against
SF- Revenge? I’d say so after that 55-10 beatdown at the end of the 80′s
GB- The team Elway took down for his 1st Lombardi
Wash- Haha! Do I even have to mention it…
Sea- Remember when they were AFC Westerners
Min- No connection there other than they are 0-4 in the big game (Buffalo also holds that distinction)…
Somewhere Kevin Bacon is smiling and slipping on a Peyton Manning jersey ;)

  30. 3rdGeneration says:

What a great year! Haven’t had any time to follow the comments or leave many this season on the blog, but I’ve been reading them all. Just had to come on after today and say, “Woooo hoooo!” Let’s get some rest and be ready to win three more games this year!

  31. alaskanbronco06 says:

Very classy. I have always liked Foster.

  32. alaskanbronco06 says:

Swope isn’t a flashy athlete but he’s a terrific football player. He possesses the ideal build for a slot receiver in today’s NFL and is an accomplished route-runner with sticky hands.

He does not possess the elite speed to run away from defenders with the consistency that his big plays last season might lead one to believe but isn’t just a safety outlet, either. With the Aggies introducing a new quarterback this season it will be difficult for Swope to match the production he had a season ago with Tannehill.

Regardless of his statistics in 2012, Swope has already demonstrated the toughness and consistency NFL scouts are looking for. Don’t be surprised when he earns a top 100 selection and winds up enjoying a more successful NFL career than some of the elite athletes selected ahead of him.

    –Rob Rang

I am so high on this kid. His play reminds me so much of Stokes. Anytime he drops the ball he gets really mad at himself but only for a few seconds. Very emotional and football smart. He is tough. Very tough. He isnt afraid to go upp and get the ball when he knows hes going to get creamed. Ryan Swope is Branden Stokley 2.0 Can we please get him? LOL

  33. Schmidtbowl says:

I’ve seen a little grumbling about playoff tickets only being sold in the Rocky Mountain Region. GOOD! They should go on sale ONLY in the Region first. And when you see a visiting team row of fans…kick them out of the stadium. Ok, just messing a little, but it is great to see the local fans get first dibs. I am currently in the Azores, so my opinion isn’t biased.

The other topic, MVP. It should be Manning…and probably will be. Peterson is also deserving, but not enough. Manning has been the league’s most valuable player in so many aspects. Does anyone remember the talk last year about Manning being MVP even though he didn’t take a snap? And now, 37-11 TD/Int, 4600 yards, and a 13 win season after starting the year with “experts” saying he couldn’t play after his neck operations, the league’s 2nd toughest schedule, a new team, an outdoor environment he will struggle in, and not enough talent around him. How would he not be MVP? Start that case instead.

  34. alaskanbronco06 says:

Of the playoff teams we have the #1 ranked overall D #1 Pass D #1 Rush D. Of the whole NFL its 2nd overall (Steelers) 3rd pass (Steelers and Jets) and 3rd rush (Buccs and Steelers)

  35. Schmidtbowl says:

AND, the #1 QB based on QBR…I like the combination. You all going to the Playoff games better be without a voice for several days after each game. I want to see the camera shaking again…like the OLD Mile High!

  36. metal-vet says:

I lived in Denver back in the eighties and was a broncos fan, Watched every game. Elway was my hero. Still is! Now I live in Indiana and watching Manning with the Broncos brings it all back. What a team! Elways got to be be proud of the choice he made in Manning. I’m thinking this team is every bit as good as it ever was.

  37. Denver4Life1 says:

hell yea Denver 4 life anyway Denver is taking the SuperBowl this year and u cant be number 1 team in the nfl and not be the number 1 seed that just dont work out right?

  38. Eric paBroncos says:

I’ve been a Denver fan all my life who lives in PA & had to put up with Steelers fans who always have reasons why the Steelers do’t win! I’ve had the bragging wrights to years in a row now & let me tell you it fills great!! I’ve been waiting since 98 4 Denver to get back to the SuperBowl & I think this team is the one to do it with 18′s bunch putting up points & the D balling out like they r. Road to SuperBowl goes though Mile High baby!!!!! Go Broncos!!!
