Broncos Blog Scoring Contest: Week 11

November 16th, 2012 - 10:30am by Gray Caldwell

My apologies for the late posting this week, but make sure you get your predictions in for this Sunday’s game against San Diego here.

A lot of good guesses for last week’s win at Carolina, as three bloggers tied for first-place points.

Denver won 36-14, and broncsbomber66, broncofaninIL and MatthewConnen were all just two total points off the correct score with predictions of 35-13, 37-13 and 37-13, respectively.

In second place were Dbroncos82, Anthony Trujillo and Yaya, who were just three points off from the actual score. Four more players tied for third place, all just four points off the score — DaddyBronc, Wolfedom, RH709 and tlcat06.

Again, predictions for this week’s game vs. San Diego are still being accepted up until kickoff on Sunday. They can be submitted here.

Taking last week’s points into account, below are the top 10 bloggers in the standings entering Week 11:

Fierce competition! 5 guys within reach of 1st place overall with a single win, this will go down to the wire, no running away with it like oldsouth did last year. Actually the bunching up is easily explained, by now under Manning the scores are much easier to predict than under Tebow, Broncos in the neighborhood of 30+, opponents around 20 or so and that’s pretty much about it each week.

Hey Cat! Were you a part of the blog when Tide and Bay went at it (Shortly before the ‘Retirement’)… Classic stuff!

Tide is an amazingly smart lady, and all Football! Great to see her back around Really!!!

  5. wolfedom says:

Thanks for the contests Gray and Turtle, even though I am not on Bay’s top five, I feel I still have a chance. I enjoy the competition and am glad its gotten easier for Bay now that Manning is here. Thanks again

Hey y’all. Looking forward to the game like everyone else. I’d be happy for Dumervil to take it easy this week, to fully heal up, and give Ayers some meaningful reps. That could pay dividends down the road, as far as depth goes.

We’re still sitting at -4 on the turnover margin for the year. Not terrible, but I’d like to see us poke our head on the plus side by seasons end. Interesting to note, the Chiefs lead the entire NFL at -20…. Yikes…….

Random thought: I’m sooooooo happy John Elway went against the grain to draft Von Miller, rather than address the much needed DT position, as per all the talking heads…….

Denver 35 SD 20… I’m fellin a pick 6 off rivers, and 3 TD from manning.
