Broncos Beat Raiders 37-6

The Broncos scored 27 second-half points to defeat the Oakland Raiders 37-6 on Sunday afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 338 yards on 30-of-38 passing including three touchdowns, giving him a quarterback rating of 130.0.

Running back Willis McGahee topped 100 yards on the ground for the 32nd time of his career, which leads all active players in the NFL. He finished with 19 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown, in addition to six catches for 23 yards.

The Denver defense held Oakland running back Darren McFadden to 13 carries for 34 yards. It forced four consecutive three-and-outs to open the second half, helping the offense score three second-half touchdowns en route to the victory. Oakland didn’t pick up a first down in the second half until near the 12-minute mark in the fourth quarter.

The win improves the team to 2-2 on the season.
