Denver surged ahead with an 80-yard drive that quarterback Peyton Manning wrapped up by finding tight end Jacob Tamme for a 1-yard touchdown completion near the pylon.
The Broncos tacked on the two-point conversion when Manning fired a strike to running back Willis McGahee in the front of the end zone. After the conversion, the Broncos led 22-19 with 9:23 to play.
The Broncos started the drive on their own 20-yard line with two runs by running back Willis McGahee for 21 yards. From there, Manning moved the ball down the field by finding wide receiver Demaryius Thomas for eight yards, Eric Decker for six yards, Tamme for 11, and Decker for 17 to put the Broncos on Pittsburgh’s 1-yard line.
Manning is currently 18-for-23 passing, for 235 yards and two touchdowns, good for a passer rating of 138.2.
