Broncos at Vikings: Key Plays

December 4th, 2011 - 10:56pm by Stuart Zaas

Fourth-and-9 from the Minnesota 48 (12:55, 1st quarter): Chris Kluwe unleashed a 51-yard punt that stopped dead inside the Broncos 1-yard line, where it was downed by Eric Frampton. On the next play, defensive end Jared Allen tackled running back Willis McGahee in the end zone for a safety to put the Vikings ahead 2-0.

Third-and-8 from the Denver 8 (8:16, 1st quarter): Safety Brian Dawkins blitzed and strip-sacked quarterback Christian Ponder. Defensive end Jason Hunter pounced on the loose ball and returned it to midfield.

Second-and-2 from the Denver 28 (0:47, 2nd quarter): Allen made another big play for the Vikings, sacking Tim Tebow and forcing a fumble. The play was reviewed, but upheld and set Minnesota up in scoring position at the end of the half. The Vikings capitalized, tacking on a field goal as time expired to take a 15-7 lead at the half.

Vikings kickoff from the Minnesota 35 (3:12, 3rd quarter):
Wide receiver Quan Cosby returned Ryan Longwell’s kickoff 63 yards to set the Broncos up inside Vickings territory to start their possession. Cosby fielded the kick four yards deep in the end zone and brought it out to the Minnesota 41 yard line. On the first play from scrimmage, the Broncos took advantage of the field position when Tebow connected with Thomas on a 41-yard scoring strike, the second touchdown connection of the day for the duo.

First-and-10 from the Denver 34 (9:35, 4th quarter):
On the first play of the Broncos’ drive, Tebow found Thomas open for a 42-yard completion. On the next play, McGahee took a carry 24 yards for a touchdown. Tebow ran in the ensuing two-point conversion to tie the game at 29 with 9:01 to play in the game.

First-and-10 from the Denver 32 (2:51, 4th quarter):
Tebow and Thomas connected on another key play late in the fourth quarter when Tebow found Thomas for a gain of 40 yards. The big gain took the Broncos to the Vikings 28 and into Matt Prater’s field goal range. Four plays later, Prater converted a 46-yard field goal to tie the game at 32 with 1:33 to play in the game.

First-and-10 from the Minnesota 20 (1:33, 4th quarter):
With the Vikings looking to drive down the field for the game-winning score, cornerback Andre’ Goodman made sure they didn’t get very far. On the Vikings’ first play from scrimmage following Prater’s game-tying field goal, Goodman intercepted the pass from Christian Ponder and returned it 20 yards to the Minnesota 15. Lance Ball picked up another 12 yards on the ground while running down the clock and then Tebow repositioned the ball to the left hash for Prater. For the third time this season, Prater delivered a walk-off game-winning kick — this time a 23-yarder as time expired.

Great time to play the Bears. On unfortunate part is that Cutler won’t be there to beat up on. I’d love for Miller and Doom to have at him for 60 minutes. On an unrelated note, I just saw we’re going to be on NFL replay again. I also have a feeling we’ll be nominated for the Never Say Never momment of the week…AGAIN.

  2. RabidOrange says:

3rd, I’m sure we will get another never say never moment, but I think this can be viewed as the Never Say Never Season. Man, but this is exciting!! Semper Broncos!!

  3. stevecan2 says:

So who seen the tebow through where he pretty much jumed to his front foot on a pass. Another pass he lifted his back foot off the ground as he threw. So. CRitics, he gets it. Over compensating today but with more throws in game he will smooth it out. Also the eyes downfield on the dt touchdown. Its these things that tebow supporters see and know, this guy is going to be the real deal, it just takes time, all these things we are just used to seeing out the gate, that it is easily to be blinded to the small steps that he is succeeding with.

  4. daddybronc says:

Hey Bronco fans!!! Are we having fun yet???!!!

I had a great day today – the only game that disappointed me was the WAS/JETS game. Shanny still isn’t doing anything for the Broncos. Would have been nice to have the Jets another game out of contention.

Eli and the Lions didn’t get spanked like I was hoping though the Lions came close to doing themselves in. It’s going to be funny if the Lions miss the playoffs because their overgrown little boys can’t quit their temper tantrums.

So,…. Tebow had his coming out party!!!! at least sort of….in the second half. (I think Bay was right as well thinking that Fox will continue with baby-steps. Yep, that’s what I saw!!! Even the 28 points in the second half looked conservative.) Evidence continues to pile up that the Tebow passing issues have more to do with getting the passer and the receivers on the same page. Looked like DT and Tebow have worked out some chemistry. I apologize for every thing I have said about the effort of DT. He erased all that from my memory as I watched him dance in the flat, staying open forever, while Tebow was fighting and stiff-arming in the backfield. Then once he got the ball to carry defenders with him into the endzone-was worth the price of admission! If he keeps doing that….he will finally earn his paycheck – and the next ones as well! I hope that just means he is getting healthier all the time. Great teams get healthy for December!!! DT for MVP!!!

I was going to say that Willis is ‘the man’ when it comes to special teams – then he goes and clobbers Royal. Oops!

Royal, Decker, Willis were kind of unaccounted for in the final tally, but not as many dropped balls on the day. When Tebow and these receivers finally click – could be some fireworks!!! This offense could be potent!!

Anybody think that Fox saw a potent offense before the season began, and he has been working to disguise the offensive power in order to unleash it on the poor souls they encounter in the final games! Seems to be able to reveal just enough offensive production to get the job done – - at the last minute – - every week?????

Tebow seems to be winning over some of his critics – that is very nice! A passer rating of 149+ is what I have been seeing.

DT caught 4 passes with an average of 36 yards per carry and 50% TD ratio – and an inch shy of what could have been TD #3.

Wow!!! – I have to go read everybody else’s posts now see if I wrote anything original.

Oh – Tebow’s interview didn’t start with, “I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” Did they cut it or did he??? I’m telling you folks – When Tim quits giving all the credit to God….let’s just say it isn’t going to be good….

  5. Yovi21 says:

…All I have to say is good team win, but Andre Goodman needs to step up his game..I know he had a pick today but for the first 58:27 seconds of the game he played like garbage.

  6. daddybronc says:

Couple of comments after I’ve caught up on the blogs –

Monodono – We won without TOP!!! I would love to see the breakdown on TOP by each half.

Andre Goodman is not receiving a lot of love these days – Seems to me the TOP issue could be affecting Goody more than the others. It might be age – might be conditioning – most likely it’s an issue of the fact that they go after Goody play after play and when the defense is on the field forever – - -
I’d guess that the pick six is a result of Goody getting his breath for a second in the 2nd half.

C’mon Bronco fans – give him some love!!!

No Andre Goodman – we have to win it in OT!

  7. daddybronc says:

BTW – anybody else notice how much Fox is sweating after each game –

    in San Diego – well O.K. —

but again in Minnesota…. in the winter???

Is his ticker gonna hold out with these never-say-never wins? Somebody call Ant.. aante… ‘the Greek’!!!

  8. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

CAN YOU BELIEVE in December we are in first place in our division when we were basically left for dead early in the season? Well, THESE PLAYERS BELIEVE and continue to demand respect.

Beginning with a safety and a McGahee fumble in the first quarter, add another “fumble” only 45 yards total offense, and merely one 1st down; the offense got bottled up in the first half, period.

Forcing 2 punts, a fumble recovery, and a pick 6 in the Vikings first 4 possessions our defense started off fast and furious. The D bent but didn’t break by holding the Vikings to two FGs on each of our offensive turnovers. However, the D did allow Ponder’s offense to go 96 yards in 12 plays for a TD. Holding the Vikings offense to 13 points. The D did have a good pass rush due to blitz packages in the first half.

The second half was totally a different game for both sides of the ball.

First, the coaches get credit for something they haven’t done much of this year; making a great offensive adjustment at halftime. What did the coaches do that they’ve been criticized for not doing since Tebow started? The Broncos set Tebow up to come out and throw for 17 yards on our first play out of the half. McGahee ensued to march down the field. This was a 9 play 78 yard drive which culminated in a TD strike for 21 yards to bay bay.

Tebow did throw well down the field especially in the second-half (6/9 for 175) all those passes were big-play-passes. CANNOT forget McGahee who made some pivotal runs especially in the second half.

There was a point in the 4th quarter when there was around 9 minutes to go where the Broncos down 21-29 had to score and score quickly and did just that. This was around the time the D put them in a precarious situation, basically making this a shootout for the win. Thankfully, Tebow hit D. Thomas on a deep pass that went for 42 yards down to the MIN 24 yard line, capped off by McGahee’s run for a TD followed by the 2 point conversion.

The defense got scorched, they gave up a lot of yards, a lot, giving up over 500 yards (521overall) nearly 400 (389) of those in the passing game. Goodman was absolutely awful in this game. I was basically screaming my lungs out saying how bad Goodman was. I am so glad that Ponder gift wrapped one to Goody for Prater to end the game.

In the second half there was absolutely NO pass rush, NONE. Essentially showing how much of an impact Von Miller makes.

There is a magic surrounding this team especially in the 4th quarter, although — in this game, we did well in the 3rd quarter also.

Tebow deserves enormous credit for effective passing. The quality of passing was as absolutely as good as it needed to be.

We are now 6-3 in the conference and 3-2 in the division. This team has found a way to win. We are in first place on merit, and don’t need any help we just need to match the Haters. If the Broncos win out, we are in.

    Good Morning Fellow Bronco Maniacs!

Man, do I love to start an unavoidable monday morning with a broncos victory in my pocket.

Yesterday’s game was so jeckl and hyde………..the first half was a defensive battle and then the floodgates opened up and it was an offesnsive showcase.

What impressed me most was the “response factor”. When the vikings marched down the feild for the score, we came right back and matched them. And that’s really alll you can ask of your offense.

TT impressed me with his passing today, and that is such a great thing to be able to say. He made accurate throws, kept his eyes downfield, and made the plays. He IS improving every week. And it seems as though we’re getting away from the “gimmick” stuff and mixing it up more with conventional and option type plays. Just another way to keep the opposing D off balance.

    D. Thomas actually showed up and had a wicked game. A lot of us have been harsh on him, for good reason mind you. But if he can play like that and stay healthy, then I think he can really halp this team. But he needs to show consistency first.

And Goodie……….ole Goodie. You got torched the entire game and looked horrible out there, and then you go make a huge play to seal the victory. I’m still at odds as to what to think of you.

Great TEAM victory………..our D bent a lot at times but didn’t completely break and made some huge plays when needed most.

Loved seeing the raiders get thumped, and the bengals lost too.

Can’t wait til next week and see us thump the bears!

    GO BRONCOS!

    Chicago should be a W
    New England is a 50/50
    Buffalo should be a W
Kansas City should be a W
So if we win 3 of 4 we should win this division and for the first time I actually think we are going to the playoffs and anything can happen there just remember the Seahawks vs the Saints last year.

    Ride the Wave

  11. killerkod says:

Tom Brady hasn’t played well at mile high……….and has been prone to bad games when the opposing D can get to him, so I think it’s a def a game we can win. Not to mention the fact that the pats D is nothing to write home about. I think we can keep them off-balance and score some points.

So, analysts……….scoring more than 17 points on the broncos isn’t going to cut it anymore.

I hear the bears might be looking at McNabb……….wonder if that’ll happen?

    Broncos 35 Vikings 32

Official score prediction contest week 13 results:

This was a week where as usual many bloggers drinking the orange kool aid predicted us to score well over 30 points but unfortunately for most of those, just absolutely no one saw a Ponder led Vikings minus star runner AP being able to do the same on our D. So everyone was basically way off, but a few distinguished themselves enough to garner up all the points, and they are:

    1st place:

lonewolf7 30-20, 17 total points off and most importantly earning 7 points in the competition sky rocketing him up the overall standings with now 8 points total alone in 8th position, couldn’t happen to a nicer man, well done sir.

    2 way tie for 2nd:

07elway 27-20, 20 total points off with her first 4 points of the competition. One of the few bloggers who has been on this site longer than I, used to be on a lot in previous years but only very sparingly now, kudos to one of the original gal on here, or may very well have been the first one.

OrangeTsunami 31-16, also 20 total points off, his first 4 points. Well done for a New-Yorker and a newcomer, haha.

2 way tie for 4th place:

armadillo_orton 28-17, 22 total points off earning his first 2 points in the competition and in bad need of a new handle, LOL.

Orange_Crusher 24-21, also 22 total points off and third time this season he is earning points, 2 this time, and slowly but surely making giant strides overall, moving into a tie for 5th! Super job funny man.

Now onto the Wall of Shame. This one was a no brainer as I discussed it Sunday, S.D.Bronco30 went out on a limb and was the only one predicting us to lose (20-21) and for that my South Dakota man, you earn yourself a spot on our Wall of Shame and the ever so painful minus 5 points that go along with it, getting you to minus 4 overall, I feel for you buddy, LOL.

This is how we stand Top Twenty overall after 13 weeks:

    1. oldsouthstander, 25 points
    2. timmah, 14
    3. thecladybunch, 12
    4. killekod, 10
Two way tie for 5th. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979, RabidOrange, Orange_Crusher , all with 9 points.
    8. lonewolf7, 8 points
Multiple way tie for 9th. raidrhadr, broncosmex, MANDIEGO, alexanserg, denver0723, rayjr26, Denver15, Atwater4HOF, minidisaa, pdp1408, all with 7 points.
    19. baylinorcrush, 5
Four way tie for 20th. casinoroyal19, theotheredge, 07elway, OrangeTsunami, all with 4 points.

Score predictions for the Bears game are now open and will be taken until Saturday midnight blog time , no picks on Gameday, no exceptions.

    Good luck to everyone!

  13. baylinorcrush says:

Correction, in the overall we have a three way tie for 5th place, not a two way tie.

  14. killerkod says:

curious as to your thoughts on the game bay……….

a lot closer and more high scoring on both sides than I anticipated. But again, we found a way to win!

I do have to admit I was wrong. I didn’t think that Thomas would have much of an impact..and well yesterday he certainly did. On his first TD catch he really showed his power and size by getting into the endzone from the 5 yd line with defenders draped on him. Also had some great catches and the one just off of his hands, even though the defender made a great play on the ball. Hopefully we can continue to see things like that from him.

What can I say, we got into a shootout and we won. Our secondary gave up some huge plays and I was doggin’ on Goodman, but he made a huge play to setup the win for us. Penalties still a problem, not a huge problem but on some key 3rd down conversions had some dumb penalties. Special teams, Cosby’s return to start the 2nd half huge momentum shift that we definitely needed. By far Tebow’s best performance as a passer. He actually looked somewhat comfortable at times standing in the pocket and delivering passes. I think he’s shown improvement and give him an offseason I really think he can develop into a better pocket passer.

Orton…0-1 0 yards, hurt his finger. I wonder if KC regrets that decision to claim him?
Cutler..out..Forte..may not play either depending on his MLC sprain or whatever.
Let’s bring back that Mile High Magic permanently!

My 6-10 season record prediction is officially dead and I couldn’t be more happier about it!

  17. 1nOnlyTRB says:

I mean Goody got torched but lets be real, this has been happening to any CB opposite of champ since the guy got here. His best compliment was probably Darrent Williams…kid played bigger than he was and was improving. But Goody is getting up there so its to be expected. All I know is that we better get a CB or DT in first round … enough of this “QB” thing … not that the new Tebow Led Broncos will give them a good enough pick to get one. The anti Tebow crowd says the reason we win is cause of Defense and yet they are behind drafting a Q in the first round next year … if we are winning becaus eof the defense … draft more defense … Many different formulas for a winning team. And the D aint show up and the Offense hung in there. Offense does what it needs to win…nothing more nothing less. Rising to the occasion. Thats what I love about this team. I mean, this team is literally 6-1 in Tebows starts … we have come a long way and the only one I fear on our schedule now is Brady …. and Von will be back by then … so Mr. brady better be ready for the pass rush of his life …. cuz no one fears their run game. TRB

  18. OrangeTsunami says:

To continue the Quinn discussion from the other day, I am now 100% behind re-signing Brady Quinn… Here are my reasons:

    1) Did you see Quinn barking into Tebow’s ear on the sideline?? Don’t forget that Quinn is now our most verteran QB on the team, and a big job of a back up is to provide the starter with info, advice, and help to make the proper adjustments during a game..

    2) The fact that he is a more “traditional” QB is all the more reason that he can help Tebow grow…

    3) To draft a QB and let Quinn go, would leave Weber, Tebow and a rookie…. Not a lot of experience there… Sign a free agent Veteran? Why bother when Quinn’s been in this system for years and is familiar with the coaching staff..

    4) I’m not saying Quinn is the best QB, but if you look around the league, he is one of the better back ups IMO… I think Quinn would thrive being the #2 guy who would actually WANT to help Tebow, now that cancer known as Kyle Orton is gone…

    5) Most importanly, we would not waste a draft pick on a young unproven QB… Although our defense has played great, we are in desperate need for a legit cover CB, and we may need to draft 2 in order to get 1 of those….

  19. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

I also saw that OT — Quinn in Tebow’s ear. I really appreciated that in him.

  20. savinghyrule says:

What a season this has turned into. I’m glad bay’s record prediction is now officially wrong. lol

Anyone heard anything on Royal? I think the announcers said something about his chest being banged up.

  21. ScalptheChiefs says:

I was really looked forward to these results! LOL that would have been a tough score to predict. What a game though, I love the passion this team plays with now. I really believe we can secure a playoff spot and I dont want to look to far ahead but anything can happen! I must say I have to be getting some grey hairs watching these games but cant argue with the outcome!! Looking forward to watching the Mile High faithful going psychotic next week!!! I sure will be.

  22. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

Sorry to throw tnalen under-the-bus but he’s helping us win lol I’m really superstitious as well lol seriously.

  23. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

You would laugh your arses off if you saw some of the off-the-wall stuff I do during the game. Which I will not divulge LOL

  24. killerkod says:

what impresses me so much as well is that we are 5-2 on the road…….second only to the packers in the entire league. That is a crazy win percentage……….and not an easy feat by any means.

Now we need to take care of business at home!!

  25. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Indeed, broncos have been the anti patriot in recent years … we have been getting the better of them over the last decade if i remember correctly. We are like their kyptonite … hopefully that continues.

Denver suffered some D losses and still rose to the occasion on some key defensive plays. Dawk is a MAN! … A freaking legend. 38 freaking years old man. John Lynch is a HOF and even he couldn’t hang that long. Hats off to the whily vet … who brings it every game … was even firing up that defense after they gave up the Percy Harvin TD … I mean no one can fully measure the impact that Dawks leadership has on this eam … thatveteran leadership. That talks and walks. I really really want us to win the superbowl this year. Just for Him and Champ. Its SOOO far away and even in our new found streak it still feels so far away … beatting out the AFC superpowers will be hard enough, but I don’t think we can hang with some of them NFC cats.

Also Decker got MAD respect yesterday … every defenders eye was on him which always gave Thomas the chance for a double move and to go deep. Don’t think he was running with as much power as he is capable of and did in college but he did enough. And he fought to stay open on that play Tebow extended. Hats off to the guy … just be more consistent and oh yea …. BLOCK lol. TRB

  26. ScalptheChiefs says:

Yes 100% agree it was awesome to see Dawk flying around all day and pumping up the troops! The second we signed him I run out and got his jersey…. I just so happen to work with a lot of Eagles fans lol love it

  27. killerkod says:

When I saw Dawk chewing out the D on the sidelines, I knew then that they’d stiffen up. That type of leadership doesn’t come along everyday……….and he still plays hard to back it all up. When he eventually hangs them up, I’d love to have him on our staff. We need that experience and intensity.

  28. ScalptheChiefs says:

Also the bears losing to a hailmary at the end of the 1st half against a terrible Chiefs team allows me to make my prediction for next sunday. Have to go with the sports gut so I dont get influenced by the “experts” this week lol I am getting on the board this week!!!

    Broncos 24

    Bears 7

Feel bad for Forte nasty hit he took, I hear he is out 2-4 weeks.

  29. strandoftds says:

    Daddy, they cut it out.

  30. ScalptheChiefs says:

That would be amazing if he decided to stay with the organization after he decides he’s done. Hopefully we get a couple more years out of him!!

  31. 1nOnlyTRB says:

I agree with OT … I want Brady Quinn back … but this will be his last chance to catch on with a team … and I wish him the best. So if he leaves wont be shocked but I think he would be a nice back up. The guy has been very supportive of Tebow since he took the reigns this season. While Orton was pouting on the sideline, Quinn has been sitting next to Tebow, or standing with Tebow while goign over plays, or been in Tebows ears and thats pretty cool … especially since I personally think he got the rawest deal. Brought here to be the guy … to compete and then the QQ just took over. Like him tho … seems like he is jsut being a great teammate. TRB

Now after the job, the fun part, the game:

    What a game!

That was enough for grown men at the sports bar to embrace over various plays, LOL.

Just like I had predicted they would losen Tebow’s leash just a tat for this one, giving him about a third more throws, they did and boy did he make the best of it, 10 for 15, or 66%, for over 200 yards!!!! An amazing step up in the right direction for him and making it harder and harder for Elway with each game. This was the second game in my opinion after last week that Elway can absolutely in no way ignore Tebow’s play when he’ll make his QB decision for next year, splendid, loved every bit of it, almost anyway, drinking the kool aid for a while here, you’ll have to excuse me, LOL.

Demaryius, what can I say, completely turned this game around with 144 yards, just like Legwold said he may step up in this game he certainly did. Of course it was against an absolutely horrible secondary, can honestly say the worse I have seen this year, but at least he caught all the balls coming his way and for that kudos to you big man, if you can do that against good Ds I might even stop the we need to trade Demaryius talk, LOL.

McGahee, WOW, now that was impressive because it was done against the strength of the Vikings’ D, their run D, 111 yards on the ground, for his 6th 100 yards game of the season, second best only to Fred Jackson and he is out for the season, so he’ll most likely end up with more 100 yards games on the ground than anyone else this year, WOW!!!

My boy Willis shining wherever they will let him, sad to not seing him more on O but on ST the man is electric, making huge plays after huge plays, except that one where he ran into our own return man. Keep it up, someone will eventually notice, gosh what will it take…., hope you don’t end up on another team some day is all I can say.

TEs were non existent in the passing game that’s for certain (0 catches)and I hope Rosario is ok.

Now the D had some smack in your face type of plays all game, a direct product of this Fox/Allen D.

But they also allowed the longest scoring drive of the season for the Vikings (96 yards).

That’s troublesome, Ponder, no AP and hopefully most of that was us missing Von Miller, but not buying all that, lots to do to improve that D if we want to beat Brady in two weeks, hopefully we can straighten things out Sunday against the Bears.

Which brings me to my main analysis of what I saw on D yesterday:

The SCHEME is what makes this D go.

The scheme and nothing but the scheme.

Players like Marcus, McBean, DJ, Haggan, Mays and Goodman have all gone from being basically average to poor to playing like all world and that tells me Martindale knew absolutely nothing about running a D, zero, nada, what a joke, we already had that talent but couldn’t put it to good use. Then come in Fox and Allen and bingo we go from worst D to top tier in two seconds flat!

No better example about how it’s all about the scheme: Haggan takes over Miller and makes one great play after another, absolutely amazing, not diminishing what Miller has done for us, but put him on a Martindale D and he would be a player with much different results, no doubt in my mind.

Anyhow Prater is back to his all clutch self and Colquitt was also back in great form and they both contributed greatly in this 3 point win, 35 points total with 28 of them scored in the second half alone!!!!!!!

Now if the D can get back to holding the opposition under two TDs like they used to, we could become a force yet this season.

First place in the Division, who would of thunked it, good teams play their best ball after Thanksgiving, and that’s when the last 5 years we have played our worst football, how refreshing, isn’t it?

Thanks to the whole organization for beginning to bring the good times back to where we are relevant at season end once again.

I’ve been crazy off too TRB, when I pick high they score low when I finally pick low they have a shootout LOL

  38. 1nOnlyTRB says:

HAHA … sounds about right Royalty … just when I thought there was something in picking the other team to not score more than 14 points … they blow up …. unfreaking believable lol. TRB

Score Prediction: Broncos 24 Bears 10

I haven’t seen our team put away an opponent for quite some time. I think that’s the next step in our evolution as a legit team. With Forte and Cutler out, and a lack of a good recieving corps, this can be our week. Bears will need to rely heavily on their D, which is pretty good. I’ve seen enough heroics for awhile, and want to see some authority.

Bay I think that SD needs to be taken off the WOS. I looked back through the blogs because I swear I saw someone using a bold font and I wanted to see if my eyes were deceiving me. During that I came across this little gem — because I noticed that you had said that there was only one blogger voting for a Broncos loss, and I see this:

Sorry to throw tnalen under-the-bus but he’s helping us win lol I’m really superstitious as well lol seriously.

With tnalen66 having the bigger margin of victory for the Vikes “Dikes,” in his words. S.D.Bronco30 needs to be removed from the WOS and tnalen66 need take his place on the wall. In all fairness and integrity of the competition…

I also loved seeing ‘Dawk yelling at the troops!! Did you see Allen there listening with folded arms?? This guy is mature beyond his years, holding his breath and letting his captain do the talking while being there to take the temperature of his defense… Love me some Dennis Allen!!!

  42. baylinorcrush says:

Thanks for clarification Royalty, when I saw his post I put him down for a 23-20 Bronco win since he said he wanted to keep the streak going, just assumed it was the Broncos winning streak.

And that brings up a point that I always try to make, if you are interested in the contest at all, make you prediction on a post written just for that, keep it simple so it sticks out for me. I have to go through thousands of comments to find your predictions and frankly some of you guys could go out of your way and make it easier for me, like: Score prediction, Broncos win 20-10, and that’s it!!! No book to go along with it, it would be much appreciated.

So S.D.Bronco30, you’re off the hook still with one point overall and tnalen66, thanks to Royalty, you get on the WOS and get your first points of the contest, minus 5 points, LOL.

Well said Bay, you pretty much covered it all! I just wanted to add this Willis is actually tied for 1st with Fred Jackson for 100 yard rushing games! So he should definitely take that over by seasons end!

Sorry all for having to repost that I’m sure it’s irritating so that’ll be the last time I post it, just wanted to try and see if all is good.

Glad I snuck my small paragraph score prediction post in there before the Bay reminder.

  48. strandoftds says:

    Good catch Royalty.

  49. strandoftds says:

The only scary player who can score for the Bears now is Hester. The Bears are having a hard time scoring TD`s even in their own backyard.

  50. 3rdGeneration says:

Maybe the close games is Tebow’s good natured attempt at making the other team feel they have a chance.
