Here we are in sunny — at the moment — Nashville, Tennessee. Supposedly we could see some rain today, but it looks pretty nice out at the moment.

There aren’t many people in the stands yet, but a good portion of them are wearing Broncos jerseys. I’ve seen a lot of Elways — I swear I see a Matt Prater jersey, but there might be a 1 before the 5. There’s a fan in an Elvis Dumervil jersey right in front of the press box — with some pretty great seats at the 40-yard line.

As for the Titans fans, they’re supposed to wear all blue as the game has been dubbed Code Blue. Think Orange Sunday in Denver.

The pregame festivities should be pretty cool, as there’s a bald eagle set to fly around the stadium. Chris Hall of Broncos TV got a picture of it.

Just a handful of players are on the field. Other than the quarterbacks, who are currently getting their pictures taken with the bald eagle, just D.J. Williams is out there warming up. I’ll let you know his playing status as soon as I get word. A few other players have been on the field and headed back to the locker room momentarily. We’re about an hour and a half away from kickoff.

10:42 a.m. CDT: Just got the Titans’ inactives — QB Rusty Smith, S Chris Hope, CB Chris Hawkins, C Kevin Matthews, T Byron Stingily, DT Zach Clayton and DT Malcolm Sheppard. Denver’s inactives should be coming shortly.

10:45 a.m. CDT: For Denver, Brandon Lloyd, Knowshon Moreno and D.J. Williams will be playing, despite showing up on the injury report. The inactive players for today are Eddie Royal, Champ Bailey, Marcus Thomas, Julius Thomas, Demaryius Thomas, Elvis Dumervil and Tony Hills.

10:54 a.m. CDT: The specialists are on the field, and Lonie Paxton, Matt Prater and Britton Colquitt are wearing the Broncos’ traditional home uniforms — dark blue jersey and white pants. Apparently the Titans are wearing white even though it’s “Code Blue.”

10:56 a.m. CDT: A few starting lineup changes — Eric Decker will start for Royal, Jason Hunter will start for Dumervil and Cassius Vaughn will start for Bailey.

11:24 a.m. CDT: Got a handful of pregame photos courtesy of team photographer Eric Lars Bakke. The whole team is now on the field running through drills.

11:28 a.m. CDT: D.J. Williams just led a linebackers huddle — looks pretty fired up to be on the field, to say the least.

11:50 a.m. CDT: We’re about 10 minutes away from game time. The stands are filling up, and there’s still a lot of orange peppered throughout. The Broncos are running onto the field through the tunnel to some boos, and things are starting to pick up. Here come the Titans…see you in the first half blog.
