You know, i disagree with the polls that say our run defense needs to improve, because I think if our O woulda been out long enough for our D to take a breath or dos, they wouldnt have gotten so sloppy. I think its a bit different for offense becasue you have the “Drive” in your mind that keeps you going when you know you’re stretching your lead. You know what I mean? What im trying to say, the momentum holds your adrenaline up and you keep going. Same case for Baltimore’s D all last year. When the D was scoring and picking, their Defense didnt seem so sloppy & tired.

Anyway, back to the grind, peace out

The best teams are the ones that can get it going in the last part of the season. This team has yet to put up a full 60 minute effort and until that happens we can all go to work on monday’s with a headache. The last 3 weeks we have played a total of 1 1/2 games, meaning we show up for a 1/2 then totally implode. On defense when we are forced in to nickle and dime packages teams are running on us at will. With no linebackers on the field, Dawkins has to get up to the line and be a spy on their running back. I still have faith in our team and what better way to get on track then to beat the sparklers in OUR HOUSE. Good teams find a way to win and to correct the problems at hand. As far as injuries go, every team has to deal with that. I hope Kyle is going to be O.K but if we have to go to Simms( give him a chance ) or Brandstater (watch out for what you wish for ) we have to play with the hand we are dealt.

All I ask is for 60 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of you just kill me. lol Some of you can’t beat the computer on all-madden if you have not played it in 2 weeks. So what do you expect from someone who doesn’t get any reps during the week. Come in cold and has to win the game for us. Unlike the first half, People were all around him. The game was moving to fast. You can be prepared mentally and look like that. Physically he was not ready. He will be ready this week if he has to go. Who ever starts gets all the reps. so if it’s Simms. He’ll be ready. If it’s Orton, he’ll be ready.

The D played 20 of the 30 in the 2nd half. People were tired and not playing their lanes. Tryna do to much to compensate for the fatigue. Look for Woodyard maybe starting opposite D.J. or taking Haggens spot. That is where our issues are.

Well then these wins better be flukes. I’ve never seen a team start like that and end up like this. How this ENTIRE team is playing, makes me wanna puke. I don’t think one player only can lose a game. This was yet again, a team loss.

hey florios_mom thats pretty dumb to say those wins were flukes the only win that was a fluke was cin. come on now. Simms utterly lost this game for us. Orton was playing a great game and was on route to 300 yards in that first half. 14-something 2tds and something like 193 yards passing he was torcjing them. and knowshon was having a good game too. we had this one till simms got in and had a total of 7 yards wich was pretty much out weighed by the sacks he took. o yeah and the pick into tripple coverage. Orton wouldnt have thrown that probably woulda found a check down to throw to. Simms was scared to death and he looked like it. i put this on him. and partially our D. but they were on the feild for like 23 minutes so yeah i am sure they were tired. can i say this?? SIMMS IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!! if orton is out against SD we are screwed but please McD DO NOT START SIMMS!!!!!!

And to get it to ground level… Start Brandstater??? Do you know that he’s the 3rd QB?? That means Simms is better than him (at least for now). If we were 3W-6L, ok, give the kid experience, but we’re still fighting our place, so, stop nonsense.

I really hope Orton, McBean, and Harris get well fast. It’s clear we need them more than we knew. And the only “fan-wish” that hasn’t been granted by now is Hillis playing. He wasn’t even active for this game. I think he could be a game changer. But obviously McD knows better than anyone of us why a player is in, and why another isn’t (as shown clearly today with the QBs).

Nothing else, but…

Well it seemed like we fixed all our problems in the first half. But good glly we played like crap all the way around! D sucked, O sucked, ST sucked.

I hate to think about it, but those 6 games really are looking like flukes now.

Orton was torching them!!! haha…if we would have been in…we would have sustained drives….given our D some rest…scored more points…and won the football game…it’s as simple as that. We only completed 3 passes in the 2nd half…plz.
