Q3 15:00: Matt Prater is on to kick off, as the Ravens will receive to start the second half.
Q3 14:46: Lardarius Webb takes the kickoff back 95 yards for a touchdown. Steve Hauschka’s extra point is good, and the Ravens now have a 13-0 lead.
RAVENS 13, BRONCOS 0
Q3 14:40: Eddie Royal is tripped up and taken down at the 14-yard line on the ensuing kickoff, and the crowd is chanting “Defense!” as Kyle Orton and the offense are back on the field. Orton rolls right and finds Tony Scheffler for a nine-yard completion to the 23-yard line.
Q3 14:05: Orton is under center on 2nd-and-1, and hands off to Knowshon Moreno, who picks up eight yards and the first down. On the next play, Orton is under center again, fakes a handoff and then fakes an end around before firing a pass downfield toward Brandon Marshall. Marshall leaps and tries to bring in the ball with one hand, as the defender looked to be holding his other arm. A pass interference flag is thrown, and the Broncos have a first down at the Baltimore 30-yard line.
Q3 13:08: Moreno picks up a yard after stiff-arming Terrell Suggs, and the crowd is booing as Orton is in the shotgun on 2nd-and-9. He has lots of time to throw, but the pass is nearly intercepted by Jarret Johnson intended for Scheffler. On 3rd-and-9, Orton drops back and fires for Jabar Gaffney for a first down. It’s a pick-up of 14 yards to the Baltimore 15-yard line.
Q3 12:03: Orton is in the shotgunbefore stepping up in teh pocket and finding Peyton Hillis inside the 10-yard line. Hillis is disappointed he didn’t break a tackle, pounding his fist, but the pick-up of six yards gives the Broncos a 2nd-and-4 at the 9-yard line. Orton is under center and hands off to Moreno. The rookie gets near the first-down marker, but it’s a 3rd-and-1 at the 6-yard line.
Q3 10:50: Orton fakes a hand-off and rolls right, firing a pass toward Daniel Graham that falls incomplete. The offense is still on the field on 4th-and-1, but Denver calls its first timeout of the half.
Q3 10:44: The offense is still on the field on the other side of the timeout. Moreno is in the backfield, and Royal, Gaffney and Marshall are to the left. Orton is under center, and Marshall goes in motion to the right side. Orton’s pass is complete to Marshall near the first-down marker, and a flag is on the field. It’s offsides on Ed Reed — half the distance to the goal and a first down for the Broncos.
Q3 10:25: 1st-and-goal for the Broncos brings a handoff to Moreno, who is brought down after a gain of a yard. Haloti Ngata is hurt on the field.
Q3 10:00: Ngata walks off the field under his own power with a bit of a limp, flanked by trainers. The teams walk back to the line of scrimmage, and the Broncos have a 2nd-and-goal from the 3-yard line. Orton fakes a handoff and fires a pass to Scheffler in the end zone that falls incomplete. Ray Lewis is called for pass interference on the play, however, and since the penalty is in the end zone, the Broncos have a 1st-and-goal on the 1-yard line.
Q3 9:46: Moreno takes the carry on first down and heads right up the middle for the touchdown. Prater’s extra point is good, and the Broncos pull back within a score of the Ravens.
RAVENS 13, BRONCOS 7
Q3 9:41: Welcome back, Spencer Larsen. He lays out Webb at the 18-yard line on the kickoff this time around. Now the Ravens offense is back on the field, and first down brings a sack by Andra Davis. There’s a flag on the play, however — illegal contact by Andre’ Goodman, a five-yard penalty and automatic first down.
Q3 9:33: It’s first down at the 23-yard line for the Ravens. Ray Rice takes the carry and essentially crawls on the ground under some defenders to pick up four yards. On second down, Rice takes another carry and finds space up the middle to the Baltimore 44-yard line. It’s a gain of 17 and a first down.
Q3 8:22: Rice takes yet another carry on first down — a two-yard gain. Second down sees Joe Flacco in the shotgun, and he gets it to Mark Clayton for another first down.
Q3 7:30: Back in a no-huddle offense, Rice gets another carry on first down. It’s a gain of six yards to the Denver 31-yard line. Flacco is in the shotgun and his pass is complete for 10 more yards and another first down. Renaldo Hill was shaken up on the play.
Q3 6:46: Hill is being helped off the field, walking between two trainers. Now the teams are back at the line and the Ravens have a 1st-and-10 at the Denver 21-yard line. Flacco is in the shotgun, but it’s a fumbled snap — however, the Ravens recover the fumble.
Q3 6:22: In the end, it’s a two-yard gain for the Ravens on fumble yardage. On 2nd-and-8, Flacco is again in the shotgun. His pass is complete to Mason for a pick-up of three yards. Third down has Flacco in the shotgun again. He takes the snap and is chased around in the pocket before being nailed by Vonnie Holliday. He gets the pass away and it’s complete to Rice, but it’s short of the first down marker.
Q3 4:55: Hauschka’s 31-yard field goal attempt sails through the uprights, and the Ravens tack on three more points.
RAVENS 16, BRONCOS 7
Q3 4:48: Royal takes the kickoff out to the 22-yard line, where the Denver offense takes over. Buckhalter is in the backfield on first down, and Orton is under center. Buckhalter takes the handoff, but he is brought down near the line of scrimmage for a loss of one.
Q3 4:15: Orton takes the snap in the shotgun and fires to Marshall, but the ball slips through his hands incomplete. That brings up 3rd-and-11 and the M&T Bank Stadium crowd is on its feet. Three receivers are on the field and Orton is in the shotgun. His pass is complete to Buckhalter, but it’s short of the first down — a gain of nine yards.
Q3 3:30: Mitch Berger’s punt flies to the Baltimore 27-yard line — a 43-yard punt. Willis McGahee takes the first-down carry for the Ravens, but he’s brought down for no gain by Elvis Dumervil. On 2nd-and-10, Flacco takes the snap and fakes a hand off to McGahee before turning right back around and dumping off a pass to the running back. McGahee avoids a tackler and gains five yards before being taken down by Ryan McBean.
Q3 1:47: Flacco completes a pass to Kelley Washington for a first down. On the next play, he hands off to Rice, but he’s taken down immediately in the backfield by Mario Haggan. It’s a loss of four yards.
Q3 0:31: Flacco is forced out of the pocket on second down and picks up a yard, setting up 3rd-and-13. He is hit as he throws, but finds a receiver short of the first down marker. There’s a flag on the play — offsides on the Broncos. That makes it 3rd-and-8 at the Denver 48-yard line. Flacco is in the shotgun with Rice to his right — but the clock ticks down to the end of the third quarter.
Q4 15:00: 3rd-and-8 for the Ravens. Flacco takes the snap in the shotgun — but two Broncos jump offsides, and a penalty is called for a neutral zone infraction. Now it’s 3rd-and-3 for the Ravens. This time Flacco is under center and Rice is in the backfield. Washington goes in motion, and Flacco finds Washington for the first down.
Q4 13:40: Robert Ayers took down Rice in the backfield for a loss of two on first down, then Mark Clayton takes an end-around for four yards on second down. On 3rd-and-8, Flacco fires for a touchdown to Mason, increasing the Ravens lead. The extra point is up and in, but there are flags on the play for offsides on the Broncos. The penalty will be assessed on the kickoff.
RAVENS 23, BRONCOS 7
Q4 13:07: Royal takes a knee in the end zone for a touchback. Orton fires downfield on first down, but Domonique Foxworth breaks up the pass intended for Gaffney. On second down, Orton drops back and fires for Gaffney for a first down at the 37-yard line. It’s a 17-yard gain.
Q4 11:40: A two-yard Moreno run on first down sets up 2nd-and-8, and Orton is in the shotgun. He fakes a hand off before dropping back with plenty of time to find Daniel Graham for a short dump-off that turns into a five-yard gain. On 3rd-and-3 at the Denver 44-yard line, Orton takes the snap under center. He drops back and fires for Royal, but he is hit by Ed Reed right as the ball arrives. The pass falls incomplete and Berger is in to punt. The kick flies high and is fair caught at the 25-yard line. It’s a 31-yard punt.
Q4 10:40: Andra Davis takes down Rice for a loss of four on first down. On 2nd-and-14, Davis sacks Flacco — back-to-back big plays by the inside linebacker. That sets up 3rd-and-30 at the Baltimore 15-yard line, and Renaldo Hill is back in the game in the secondary. It’s a screen pass to Rice, and Darrell Reid is right there to take down the running back after a gain of nine yards. The stop forces a punt by Sam Koch.
Q4 8:45: After a 50-yard punt by Koch, Royal is taken down for a loss of two on the return. That sets up the offense on its own 24-yard line. Buckhalter is taken down by Ed Reed for a loss on a first-down screen pass, setting up 2nd-and-15 for the Broncos at the 19-yard line. The crowd is on its feet as Orton is in the shotgun. He tries to find Marshall downfield, but it falls incomplete.
Q4 7:56: Orton is in the shotgun on third down, and is taken down on a blitz by Chris Carr. That makes it 4th-and-25 at the 10-yard line, and the Broncos are forced to punt. Berger is on the field to punt out of his own end zone. He is hit as he punts the ball — but it’s determined to be the five-yard variety rather than a 15-yarder, so it remains fourth down, and Berger will punt again. The punt is returned to the Baltimore 47-yard line.
Q4 6:53: Rice picks up eight yards on first down for the Ravens, who enter Denver territory on the play. Le’Ron McClain takes his first carry of the game and picks up a yard, setting up 3rd-and-1 for the Ravens. Baltimore calls a 30-second timeout, its first of the second half.
Q4 5:39: On 3rd-and-1, Flacco hands off to McClain, who fights his way to the 24-yard line — a 20-yard pickup and a first down.
Q4 3:30: Another big McClain run gives the Ravens a 1st-and-goal at the 6-yard line as the clock continues to run.
Q4 2:30: McBean is shaken up on a play, but he walks off the field under his own power. Baltimore has a 2nd-and-goal from the 4-yard line. D.J. Williams takes down Rice in the backfield, and Denver calls a 30-second timeout — its second of the half.
Q4 2:04: Baltimore has a 3rd-and-goal from the 7-yard line, and Flacco takes the snap in the shotgun before handing off to Rice, who sprints up the middle of the line for a touchdown. Hauschka’s extra point is up and good.
RAVENS 30, BRONCOS 7
Q4 1:54: Royal is taken down at the 20-yard line, and the offense takes back over. Orton’s pass is complete to Moreno for a five-yard gain on first down, followed by a 12-yard completion to Gaffney on second down, as Orton rolled to the left, setting up a first down. Gaffney got out of bounds to stop the clock. On the ensuing first down, Orton took the snap in the shotgun and fired a pass incomplete downfield.
Q4 1:13: Orton is in the shotgun on 2nd-and-10, fakes a handoff to Moreno and fires to Royal, who is hit hard after a gain of three. On 3rd-and-7, it looks like there’s miscommunication and Orton fires an incompletion in Royal’s direction. There’s a flag on the play, however — but it’s picked up as they rule the ball was uncatchable. That brings up fourth down.
Q4 0:33: Orton lines up in the shotgun with Buckhalter to his left on 4th-and-7, and his pass is complete for a first down to Marshall. Denver calls its third and final timeout.
Q4 0:18: Daniel Graham comes down with an Orton pass inside the 30-yard line, and the Broncos rush up to the line. Orton spikes the ball to stop the clock with three seconds to go. Orton shovels a pass off to Buckhalter, and he’s pushed out of bounds after a 10-yard gain to end the game.
It is the Broncos’ first loss of the season, and their record falls to 6-1. Up next — the Pittsburgh Steelers at INVESCO Field at Mile High on Monday Night Football.
The final score: Ravens 30, Broncos 7.

Knowshawn is fumbling to much for my tastes. When Hillis came in this game he did well. His fumbles might cost us a game this season. Buckhalter and Gaffney didn’t want him talking to them afterwards. Ayers is holding his own. After Smith got injuried. He has been a no show.
If he was AllDay. I could stand the fumbles. He’s not though. The other guys are stable. Knowshawn might have that Ahman Green problem. Turner need to work with him better. If he gonna be the focus that is.
Good thing though. I’ve seen a team get beat 40-8 and go plus win a SB.
To me Knowshawn runs real hard (sometimes too hard) to the point i think it messes his vision up. I don’t mean he shouldn’t run hard but i think a lot of times if he would be more patient he would see and feel the holes develop better. He has a lot of potential but i don’t think he’s found his grove yet. I like his presence in the passing game and as a blocker. It makes him a complete back.
…yeah the fumbles are not cool.
we have never faired well in Baltimore….It was a beat down today….it will be good for the broncos to taste some humble pie…maybe they needed it??? Bottom line is they just simply got out played physically and mentally…in all phases… offensive line got dominated. I don;t think our Defense played as bad as everyone thinks…statistically they played a decent game. Lets not panic….The Ravens were desperate and had momentum at home and the game just got out of hand. Next week we are at home and I am sure McD will have the team ready to play. And whoever is looking at last season…plz…we were 4-4 at midway point…and this season will be either 6-2 or 7-1 with wins over great teams like the cowboys, patriots, and at the chargers. Our defense is ranked overall #1. Lets get the W against the super bowl champs!
Go Broncos!
Also…one more thing…the broncos were 15-5 after bye weeks…and are now 15-6 so I don’t want to hear any more of (bye weeks are bad for teams) They have played well after the bye…this loss had nothing to do with that….McD said so himself.
Amen. Goodnight. BTW, noticed it’s a full moon out there, no wonder tempers are on edge…
We played like crap, but we will bounce back. This team is built to win, we just didn’t show it today.
aha,,funny you mentioned the full-moon affect Baylin. just turned my cable just now and they are talking about the lunar-affect theory…something to do with causing people to be more aggetated and aggressive…coincidence?..
anyways, i thank the Broncos for giving us that exciting undefeated run. Season’s not over. Still time to make another streak anyone?
Yep, sometimes all you need is a good old fasioned a$$ kickin to jump start you for the rest of the season. Hats off to a great Raven team that played a heck of a game. I will need to get fitted for a new prescription of orange colored glasses before I post my next prediction though lol…
Bronco fans keep your heads up. I won’t mind eating some crow this week as long as I can feast on some steel next monday.
Regards,
Coach
we came out with no intensity and no heart to start the first half 2nd half sstarts and they run a kick back on us. we came out slow and thats what hurt us. we have started slow in almost every game and had to come back and kick a$$ in the 2nd half we cant do that to teams like baltimore they will our luck throw it up then eat it again. wich they did. we deffinitly cannot start slow against our next opponite pittsburg. they will do the same. we need to dictate what we do not let them dictate us. we will beat pittsburg in a close one i am guessing 23-20 maybe even 13-10.
Go broncos superbowl champs 2009!!! lol
eat our lunch and throw it up… sorry!!!
Hillis. Hillis, Hillis, Hillis, Hillis, why in the world won’t McDaniels give him the ball. There has to be film of what he can do in the Broncos Facility somewhere. Knowshon, fumbles the ball to much for my taste. Overall Team loss in this one. Offense, that was the worst performance since game one of this season. Re-group guys, the Steelers are next. Sometimes it takes a loss to bring a team back to reality. GO BRONCOS!!!!!
Ouch, that one stung a bit. Here’s the deal, WE GOT OUT PLAYED, OUT MOTIVATED, AND OUT CLASSED. By the fourth quarter we were ready to throw in the towel. That is NOT the BRONCOS TEAM that has played down to the wire over the past six games. I don’t expect to see a repeat of this performance. We have tough competition headed our way. Lets regroup and finish strong!!!
I would like to have seen some shots down the field. I know Orton doesn’t neccessarily have the accuracy but it would have maybe opened things up more underneath. At least he didn’t try to force anything in and get it intercepted and put us more in a hole that what we were..even though there were a couple that should have been picked.
Hopefully Harris will be ok, said it was a toe injury and those can be hard to deal with. Priefer teach Berger to get the punt out quicker or we’re going to have some punts blocked. I thought Prater had a stronger leg to get touchbacks…return coverage?
Steerlers on Monday at home we need to play the rest of the season like it is a “must win” situation, just to keep the intensity up. Remember 7-0 or 6-1 doesn’t mean anything has been accomplished or un-accomplished. It just means we have 1 loss so lets get up, buckled down, get angry, get ramped, and lets go bend some STEELers.
I really hope that we do better against the Steelers this week. I do believe in the Broncos, and I hope that this will continue to be a winning team. I don’t remember who said it, but I also think that Hillis should get more touches. Mabye on a RB fake and pitch it out to Hillis, I don’t know. But he should still be involved more.
I think Hillis may have done better against the Ravens due to his power running style. Buck and Moreno have good power too, but Hillis is a bruiser and I think he may have had more success against the tough Ravens D.
O.k……let me be the first to stay I have supported the organization, the players and the coaching staff since it’s inception especially this year.
However, I hope Lord do I hope…that this team (especially the offense) realizes that if you play teams with a decent pass rush, you better have a plan B!
Our offensive line got blown up today! PERIOD! I’ll also go out on a limb and say although I love Kyle’s mistake free QB play, it was a little concerning watching him yesterday! He looked afraid to make a play. I know he wasn’t getting much time but still……get out of the pocket!
Did anyone see Scheffler wide open on the would be TD run by Moreno? It was the play he threw high to Grahm. He had Tony wide open in the flat.
I would have loved to see this game from atop the stadium! I want to see what our WR’s were doing. Were they open? I have a hard time believing that all of our CAPABLE wr’s were covered. Was it simply the pass rush? Is that what caused this joke of an offense?
You know, I know we weren’t going 16-0 but doesn’t it still suck when you lose even though you know it’s going to happen? LOL!
I’ll continue to give 110% of love and support for all our players and coaching staff, but yesterday was very, very, very tough to swallow!
I hope like most of you that a loss like this creates what we all hope is a spring board for continued improvement and success!
GO GET EM’ BOYS!
Someone should check the Ravens for steroids! I can’t believe their D-line was that much stronger than our O-line. They were in the backfield almost every play and forcing Orton to throw under pressure almost every time. And how many times do they have to try the WR screens when they weren’t working? Like was said before, it would have been nice to see more down field throws, although I don’t know if Orton would have gotten the time to make those passes anyway. We probable should have been more run focused for the game plan, and hopefully that would have opened up the passing game, but that is all water under the bridge now. Let’s get ready for the Steelers and go tear them a new one!
The good, the bad, AND THE UGLY:
The Good
On O:
#15,…my bad it’s the one with the wrong jersey I’m thinking of! LOL. Orton’s 11 yard run, hope you got a good picture of that, probably won’t see another one like it this year. One good drive at the beginning of the second half right after their KO return for a TD. That’s it, one good drive, Moreno TD. Gaffney was effective when called upon. Hillis got in on the action on O with two catches.
On D:
Overall played well, held them to two FG’s in the first half and gave it a good effort until the 4th quarter, when it became painfully obvious to everyone including them that their effort was going to be all for naught with our pitiful O.
Davis, DJ, Dawkins and Hill were the stand out guys combining for 30 tackles. Fantastic hits and great pass deflection by Dawkins, best D player by far yesterday.
On ST:
Fantastic tackle by Larsen on KO to pin them at their 18, he is back!
The Bad:
On O:
The O line, but I reserve that for THE UGLY segment…
#15, yes the one with the white jersey, ours. Other than getting the ref to throw the pass interference yellow hankie, real poor effort. As I said for now three weeks, I am very concerned that since he has turned around, he is now wasting way to much time with the national media and it shows. Still acting immature. Horrible running game, other than the Orton 11 yard run, only 55 measly yards. Moreno, I have been saying it all year but it is now official for me, a big disappointment so far for our #1 pick. We need less blind enthusiasm, more time better spent looking for blocks to run behind than to dive in there like a ragged doll, not to mention securing the ball which is now a real concern. This is not college anymore, you have to have a different kind of skill set, please try to adapt. Orton had a couple real bad passes.
On D:
Got eaten alive early by Heap, all game long by #15 (Washington) and late by Rice. Goodman had a bad game, both in position coverage and tackling, poor effort. Doom fans, what happened, he was at total non-factor.
On ST:
Royal went from riches to rags in one game! Real poor performance, running out from 5 yard deep in the end zone, struggling to make it back to the twenty on most every return, running backward on one of them and way too hesitant on others. Man, how quick can you fall from the mountain top… Berger, even so he didn’t allow any returns because of his high punts, was scary short on most of them.
The Ugly:
The O line, A SLAB OF IMPORTED SWISS CHEESE, with holes so big in the protection game, I could of run through it and get to Orton, and my legs are shot, hahaha. Not any better as far as opening lanes for the running game. I know the Ravens D scheme was responsible for it, but the end result is this was the most pathetic O line performance I have seen for years! They are the pride of the Denver Broncos, they were the humiliation part of it yesterday. Strangely, I am keeping McD out of this section this week, for a change LOL, because I thought that the game went in the direction it did mainly because of the O line play, and unlike most everyone here yesterday who were quick at jumping at Orton’s throat for not being able to throw deep and at McD’s throat for not calling for the long passes, I believe in the first half that’s what they were trying to do (going long) but the protection was so porous Orton never had the time to wait for guys to get open deep, so McD then went with a short game scheme for the second half. That’s the way I saw it, and I’m sticking with it! With all due respect, I really don’t care how others saw it, this is my post, I saw the game with my eyes and I’m reporting what I saw, not what I heard from all the so called experts.
In conclusion, we are 6-1, hopefully the Orton/McD bashers we had here last night have mellowed out, but no, I forget, they were Cutler/Shanny lovers, so of course as soon as we lost our first one, this was their day to shine and I’m sure they will be here plenty all week. Not looking forward to that… However looking forward to Monday night at home, a perfect stage to redeem ourselves and get rid of the negative vibes around here, LOL.
Yeah broncofanlvnm – they sure out muscled us in the trenches. They were sending a LB thru the “A” gaps. Also blitzing on the edges which is what we saw on the first play from scrimmage. LG Ben Hamilton was having a hard time, as they were blowing by him, and he was replaced by Russ Hochstein. (sp). Also RT Ryan Harris replacement, (Brandon Gorin was getting schooled). Agree with some previous posts about more playing time for Peyton Hillis. (at least as an extra blocker if anything else). Obviously some Raven personnel who are very familiar with Def Coord Mike Nolan, as we all know, spent a few yrs as Def Coord for the Ravens. Could this be a reason why they were so successful against our D yesterday…maybe. We had a runner go over 100 yds against us for the first time this year.
Raven defense was cheating up as they seemed to know when we would be running our bubble screens and and dump offs.
I heard one announcer or someone over at ESPN state the Ravens had dedicated this game to the memory of Steve McNair…RIP.
We all know we will lose a game here and there and that’s football. Thing that concerned me about yesterdays game is we were very predictable as to what we were going to run. Raven D had us dubbed. Give credit where credit is due, Joe Flacco played a flawless game. Looks like Off Coord Cam Cameron is developing this kid into a great QB.
Let’s get back to work this week and prepare for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
GO BRONCOS !!!!!!
well, what can i say. i knew we would have to lose at least 1 game this season and baltimore just seemed to have our number all day! i dont think we need to panic though. i think in the long run this loss will actually be good for the team. sort of puts things in perspective again, and hello to under the radar which i think is also a good thing for this team. lets just say it now, our offense was HORRIBLE!! where was the running game? and what happened to the good old fasioned pitch or sweep? our guys are fast, so give them a shot to get outside more! and i think orton looked very uncomfortable yesterday. rightly so i suppose due to our o line play. he must be more decisive i believe. i remember a couple plays where you could almost see him thinkin before he threw, and by the time he did get rid of the ball Baltimore was then in place. make your read, get rid of the ball, and move the chains! our Defense played ok, but with the offense not able to sustain drives and let the D rest a bit, by the 4th quarter they just looked to be out of gas to me! Kudos to the Ravens, they played a great game. beat us in all 3 areas.
Go Broncos
“DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS”
Yesterday was a complete disaster. But Im not buying into it too much. I mean the Ravens had way more to loose and they too were coming off a bye week. Can anyone explain why were playing these great teams after the come off bye weeks? I mean now we face the Steelers coming off there buy weak after we just got crushed in Balt. I dont get it.
Anyway I guess I wasnt expecting us to win every game this season, it just sucks to finally loose. I cant stand the Ravens and I know our D stepped up yesterday, our Offense wasnt clicking our Special teams flopped again. Who ever signed this punter that was giving the Ravens amazing field postion should be ashamed. He stunk it up. Thats why im not taking anything away from the Broncos D because they had there backs against the wall ALL DAY> It could have been a lot worse outcome.
With that said> We must move forward and start preparing another physical team coming to play against us.
Go Broncos!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been sad_orange_devil since the game yesterday. Another tough test next week. In a way it’s almost a good thing we lost our first game to get it out of the way. I like that people always doubt this team, it feels great proving them wrong. Let’s get at those Steelers and put Little Ben on his back.
Now thats the broncos we’ve learned to love. The broncos in no way beat the steelers. The reason they have been doing well is they were lucky. I had a feeling we were going to eat crow, but we didn’t evan pluck the feathers off. Looks like the same old Donko’s.
They’re baaaack….
wow, wishy washy fans on today! keep in mind guys, there is a reason it is VERY hard to go undefeated! we are fine, and i still say we beat pitt. we will be motivated, fired up, hungry, and above all, AT HOME!! cant stand bandwagon jumpers. get off, get on, off, on. come one seriously? you either are or you are not! i proudly wore about as much broncos gear as i could put on today! i did get asked how i could wear it after the dismal performance yesterday. my answer?….. “Because im a REAL fan. i support through thick and thin!” some of you “fans” should try it sometime!
Go Broncos
“DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS”
@broncrider: Shut your mouth. One loss and all you bandwagon fans are ready to jump ship and freak out. It is all the same with you bandwagon fans..its not the fact that we did play against a very good Ravens team is it? Its all about how bad the Broncos are. Yeah we had a poor performance and lost. That doesn’t mean that we won’t bounce back. You think one loss and the Broncos are going to just give up…”Well, we have one loss now, might as well not even try to win the division with one loss”. As any sports team fan, you’re either all in or all out, there is no in between.
Go Broncos!!!!!
Well REAL fan if you appreciated that game yesterday you could see they were thick and we were thin. Whatever happened yesterday was not a let down it was a total collapse. To ignore that or think this will be fixed in time for the steelers on Monday night is wishful thinking. When a team loses like they did you don’t just brush it off.
I don’t apprciate a win, I don’t think that anyone does. Going 16-0 was wishful thinking, yeah it’d be nice, but c’mon man. The things that went wrong are fixable before the Steelers IMO. The kick coverage needs to be better, stay in your friggin’ lanes men. The one TD pass to Mason, S out of position, that is fixable. The o-line, they are a great line, even the best lines get whomped on from time to time. I think that some of the major issues are fixable IMO.
It should say “I don’t appreciate a loss” I do appreciate wins.
Brian-schneider–We shall see. I just said the truth. When it hurts ignore it. That is fantasy!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m not ignoring it, you’re right fact is we need to perform better. If all you do is dwell on the last game you can never become focused and get ready to do better. The coaching staff, players and the fans all know what happened. They all know what needs to be done. I don’t think anyone is ignoring it, we’re just focusing on what we can do better.
While I don’t think it’s time to panic, I am concerned that yesterday’s game will provide a blueprint on how to play defense against the Broncos. From here on out, I think the Broncos have to consistently take shots downfield, and do so the first couple of times they have the ball.
I think we lost the most important battle this week….the intensity battle we came out playin reg season football and they came out playin playoff football..granted they needed the game way more than we did..overall i think we learned what playoff football is gonna be like (If we make it to the dance). I think they where deperate, at home, andf they took it to us…I think we will be fine…I hope nobody thought we where gonna get thru our gauntlet un blemished.. ( SD twice, Dal, Cincy, BAl, Pit, NE, Indy, Philly, NY). Honestly i think we will NOT be out physicalled again…by any team…I think Bal just taught us a lesson on whats it like to play wit a target on your back….Beware Pittsburg I think your Div mate just woke up a sleeping giant
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Correction to my earlier post, it was Tyler Polumbus who replaced Harris in the game, not Gorin. Hope Ryan Harris will be alright.
and he did a good job according to McD. so that is a good thing
