DMT DMT!!!
PUM PUM PUM!!! Lets make some noise!!!!! GO BRONCOS!!!
Well D am n
At least we got to get excited
Well there goes that….
Drat…
im done with that running back. he is a liability
maybe a healthy knee would have helped there. later mcgahee.
Good play by Ninkovich… he did that on purpose
and I gave McGahee props I officially don’t care for him either freaking stupid
can we please teach our players how to hold on to the ball
yea.. i liked him untll this game. he owes us 14 points right now.
Our DL is bad but our LBs arnt playing much better. They arnt hitting the opening fast or hard enough and missing tackles.
So apparently we cant say holes
It posted that time…Weird.
he cost us the critical first down and now fumbles I would bench him in favor of hillman
you can’t say plural of pass either.
see you guys for ultimate dissapointment next week guys.. hit the showers.
yup welker i knew it would be him. I’m out guys enjoy what you can of this game
Peace fellas…
Cat say passes
I was able to there. lol and this is over. Multiple 3rd and longs given up. Horrible coverage by everyone and little pass rush.
Hasta luego, so dissapointing
I hope bronco players read this stuff… mental mistakes aren ‘t killing your record, it’s killing yoru fans.
mcgahee just seems to fumble in critical moments..
I’m dumbfounded with how careless we are with the football….. I place the blame 100% on the coaching staff, as we’ve run practices like a freaking country club……..
I watched the game like you all did and this is what I will remember about this one:
Just about every time the Patriots had the ball in a meaningful situation they ran it down our throat in such easy fashion I could not believe my eyes.
They ran it up the middle for 5 or 6 yards every time they ran the ball, just about the same result when they ran it down the sides and same thing when they just dumped short passes all over the place.
SO HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU EXPECT A WIN OUT OF THIS TYPE OF GAME!!!
Every time they had a play they got around 5 yards!
And if my math is correct 3 x 5 yards = 15 and that’s a first down every time.
To put the loss on the O is asinine, even so they had their issues.
Del Rio D absolutely came up short, and I don’t care how great the O would of performed, Brady would of beaten our D no matter what.
It’s like we never figured our woes about stopping the run, right back to where we’ve been the last few years about all that.
I picked us to lose this one by only one point, boy was I ever wrong….
It seems that in order to get a win against one of these top tier teams, we must play mistake free. Not the case today. The dropped passes, the fumbles, and the inability to tackle anyone is too much to overcome. When you think that in the last two games we have thrown for 600+yrds. and no interceptions, we should be winning, but the lack of a defense has kept us in the loss column. Once again, I didn’t see the pass rush we so badly need or the ability to break up a pass. Their running backs were running through us at their leisure and I have to agree with Bay that there is no way we win these type games.
With the way our defense played, it’s more of a shock to me that the Pats didn’t put up 50 points.
Good thing Von was out there playing possessed.
The lack of defense was obvious, and while not ideal, it was somewhat expected against an offense like NE. What shouldn’t be expected is all the mental errors, and turnovers. We’re now -6 on turnovers for the season.. It’s gonna be real tough to win games if we keep that up….
Why?
Is this like college, where amount of points scored matters? LOL.
*we have a -6 turnover ratio (takeaways – giveaways)
I’m watching our next two opponents (Chargers n Saints) play and man I hate to say it but…. The Chargers are looking good
The good thing is anybody who knows much about football would of figured out right off the bat that a team like ours with a new D coordinator and new Manning at the helm would take some time to gel, meaning expecting a mediocre first half of the season at best, which is exactly what we are getting, and possibly a much improved second half resulting maybe in a spot in the playoffs if everything falls into place just right, but for that we will need a lot of help from the Chargers because nowadays wildcards are hard to come by (only 2 per conference).
Meaning beating the Chargers both games is basically a must in my mind.
tough game to watch. seriously tough. so bad to see the offense do so well (except a few stupid mistakes) and the defense play absolutely HORRIBLE. that was an embarrasing defensive showing and it kinda makes me mad. no wait it really makes me mad actually. these guys get paid? mays is a joke and i have no idea why he’s the starter of anything, but i and many on here have been saying that for a long, long, time. its really starting to rear its ugly head having him in there now tho. the one play that just really set me off today was the 3rd and 17 woodhead took for a 1st down. in case you didnt catch that- WE LET DANNY ‘MINI’ WOODHEAD RUN FOR A FIRST DOWN ON A THIRD AND SEVENTEEN. to beat a team like new england you have to play solid football all around and limit mistakes. we played the polar opposite of sound football on d and made a ton of absolutely ten degree dumb mistakes. honestly something needs to be done to change this d. theres no way they can be this bad. with our offense playing well all the d has to do is play average/slightly below average and we can win 10 games this year. i dont know if jdr needs to go or fox needs to take over most of the d coord duties but lets do SOMETHING. NOW. it was so disgusting to see the patriots offense slap our d around and make em like it. i mean just humiliated them and then hocked one on their shoes and laughed in their face. that bad. i would be so embarrassed as a player after that game i dont know how they didnt take off running into the locker room when brady took that last knee. and the fact it was mcd(fill in degrading term here) over on the other sideline makes me wanna throw up. he destroys our team and then just leisurely trotts over to an elite team created by someone else and is living the dream with them while we are in the midst of recovering from his moronic destruction. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i had to change that post about 25 times because it was riddled with questionable terms!! now that its an hour after i ranted i think i feel better now. on to the chargers……..
yes bay and i actually have been saying that alot. its still true imo but man this one REALLY got to me. i was predicting 4-4 after 8 games but i think with the saints down we can beat the chargers and saints and be at 5-3. so as bad as i sound today we are doing almost a little better than i thought. but i didnt take into consideration losing in this manner. its gonna be thursday at least before i get over this one. i wasnt expecting such a sharp contrast between our d and o and its maddening knowing that if our d was just a little better we could be 3-2 instead of 2-3. i guess i’m just greedy!
Actually on my season prediction I have us 2-4 after next week but still ending up 10-6, so it’s all good in that regard, EXCEPT FOR THE FACT I did not expect the Chargers to be leading the division by such a comfortable margin so far, specially if they go 4-1 tonight, hence the absolute must win game against them Sunday IMO. In San Diego too, tall order to say the least…
I mean next Monday.
Go Saints is all I can say…
As bad as our defense played, we had TWO TURNOVERS in the red zone, and we lost by 10 points…… I’m no mathematician, but I think those two scoring opportunities could have put us on top….
With ifs and buts Obama would be balancing the budget right now, LOL.
On a good note though Saints up 28-24 with about 6 min. left.
All I’m saying is I don’t think many teams are going to win games when they turn the ball over twice in the red zone, no matter how their defense plays. Both are major issues, that need to be addressed.
I hear you, I hate to see how McGahee let us down, but D should be what keeps you in games when the going gets tough, at least in my book. But no doubt the turnover deficiency plus the porous D against the run is basically an impossible hurdle to overcome against any decent team. Looks like the Saints might pull it off, that would be great, with a win next week we’d be tied for the lead at 3-3.
It real dosen’t matter how payton and offense played ; as long as D wide open we always a looser…next chargers ?
Well defense should keep us in the game if the defense would have had alittle time to rest, but our offense didn’t give them time to rest. Three plays & punt doesn’t help, fumbling the ball doesn’t help either. Mr. Fox says we are getting closer to being where they want to be, well I don’t see it. If Mr. Fox knows what the problems are lets see what they do about it. Every good team we’ve played we lost except for the Steelers. We need to stay in the game from start to finish & not play catchup. Everyone including the coaches are probably counting on Manning to much. If you keep playing the way you did against Atlanta, Houston & New England the Chargers will do the same thing to us. Oh I forgot about the dropped pass.
