Rodgers avoids the rush and throws the ball away on first down. Rodgers’ second-down pass goes off the hands of James Jones and is intercepted by Jonathan Wilhite. Green Bay is challenging the play.

what sucks is they will stick with orton next week and nothing will change at least to picks for chargers.REALLY BLOWS!!!!!Come on man we cant do much worse put in tebow or even weber to see if they are our future.Dont be afraid to be wrong big JOHN!!!

  2. jsizzla says:

I say put Tebow in because the passes Orton is attempting and/or completing aren’t exactly BIG throws. Hell, he underthrew a wide open Lloyd twice once for a sure TD but it was a pick. Tebow could make that throw! And that 1st down scramble by KO would have been 30 yards by Tebow..

  3. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Thank you Henryac … people wanna bash the D … mainly Ortonites … ineffective offense led by u know who factored in. even the turnovers we got this game were giving right back to the packers …. stop blaming this teams deficiencies Ortonites … it is clear Orton is … whack … always has … always will be … may not sound fair … may sound harsh … but no point trying to be constructive anymore … while you guys try to blame everything BUT orton … this team would need to be super awesome for Orton to have a chance to lead it to victory … not because Orton is good … but because the team is so Awesome Ortons avg play can win it … but guess what … this team is broken … this was a team that was 4-12 last year … we are not good enough for avg orton to take us to the play offs … let alone .500. We need to look to the future … and even if its not Tebow … fine …but find out now … not next year. McD already set us back … no need to keep setting ourselves back … putting faith in Orton will get this team no where … putting faith in Tebow MAY get this team no where … but will give us a better evaluation about our team and our future than starting Orton EVER will. TRB

  4. henryac says:

The problem, jsizzla, is they aren’t really trying to rebuild. They are trying to re-tool with a lot of the same old tools that didn’t work last year and they aren’t working any better this year. They brought a few tools from other teams but there really doesn’t seem to be any clear plan on how they plan on rebuilding a demolished team but using a lot of the same parts over again. Might save them some money in the short term but it will cost them a lot in the long term because of losses of revenue, beer sales, parking, etc. They are still trying to steal second base while trying to keep one foot on first. The win-now crap was a PR stunt that didn’t ring true then and works even less now.

  5. 1nOnlyTRB says:

You can’t keep sending your D out against a O as potent as the Packers … doing that against less potent teams has resulted in losses … this resulted in a bigger gap because packers are more potent and score fast. This team is not about Orton proving he has changed and can be the guy … this team is about building to win … and we are not doing that right now … All these Ints and underthrows and near INTs orton is throwing … are people blind … oh wait let me guess … olines fault … they actually did pretty good today. The man just sucks … face it … he is our rex grossman over here in Denver … and shocker … they were both jettisoned from the same team. TRB

  6. Broncos Born & Raised says:

The one thing I will say about this game is that it showed just how far we are from being a Super Bowl caliber team. Hopefully we learned something from the multitude of lessons they taught us today.

We cannot stomach mediocre QB play! We are used to having the best QB ever! We cannot endure this any longer. You can’t feed Caviar to people for 16 years and today we are eating dog food!

  10. O&BinCostaRica says:

Sorry everyone too much rum in the system…. must be telling the truth.

  11. 1nOnlyTRB says:

“I like a gamer not a practice QB” what a crock … one of Foxes biggest lies this offseason … like the guy and all but he is not winning any brownie points with misdirection and double talk. You can only get away with that WHEN YOU WIN. TRB

  12. jsizzla says:

Yeah, I understand that but there needs to be smarter people up above in the ranks to know that that never works this retooling, we’re not New England. This franchise was destroyed by McD and the best way to rebuild is with defense and Oline and thats what we have. I knew we would get killed today I just don’t wanna see the same **** every week KO pick 6, mistake on Steams, woulda shoulda, you know you watch the games!

  13. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Wanna know how important a QB is to winning or losing … look at the packers … great team … but take away rodgers … they are avg … maybe just good. The recievers are good but his placement, ability to extend plays, never getting phazed by the blitz and choking and his ability to scramble is what MAKES this team … that 1 position. We ran up the points on them too … they are no that super defensively … and offensively … its all about rodgers … they got other weapons but without rodgers … that team is not all that. The man really IS that fantastic … one position … the position that touches the ball the most next to center … And you wanna tell me building a strong team around snoring orton is the way to win … he is avg … he will always be avg. a great supporting cast is nice … but even Elway took the team to superbowls (not winning them but took them) … without the right supporting cast … cuz that 1 position means THAT much. Stop with the misdireciton … stop blaming everything else on the team but Orton … ORTON stinks … and the coach plays a factor in it tooo … but Orton stinks. TRB

  14. qbsack58 says:

Plain and simple the Broncos are not playing inspired. Yes they are competitive, but not inspired. Tebow will at least inspire the team to play to the next level.

  15. Crazyhorserider says:

With 25% of our season completed already it just goes to show how long suffering the football fans of losing teams are. Spend a fortune to watch a bunch of triers who have no chance of making it.

That is why we all have the right to voice our disappointment because it is the money coming from the fans, including all the TV money, which finances football. Now there are some positives and seeing improvements in the defence is a good thing. However Mr. Bowlen caused all of this by making HUGE mistakes and as I watched him allow McDud to destroy a top quality offence I did wonder about his sanity.

Old age creeps up on all of us and I think this is what happened with Mr. Bowlen who one minute was running one of the best organisations in football, and then looked round to see the ruins. I think that we are currently going through a phase where the whole organisation is being rebuilt and is risk averse. This is why they are scared to play Tebow who is seen as high risk.

However I believe that Tebow can be our football saviour and we need the organisation to stop running scared. Personally my Head Coach would have been Studs who earned a lot of respect last season. But no, too much of a risk.

In England there is a very famous saying, “QUI AUDET ADIPISCITUR” – “HE WHO DARES WINS” the motto of the SAS. That is the quality that is needed in our organisation, our coaching staff and our team. That courage has to come from the top and the fans need to see it.

    WHERE IS IT ???????????

  16. olderthandirt says:

broncos will go 3-13 no matter who’s the QB.

  17. O&BinCostaRica says:

My favorite post ever TRB! I will be reposting it all week.

  18. txwinebergs says:

ORTON SUCKS! and SO DOES JOHN FOX. I can tell you this. John hates TEBOW SO much that even after we go 3-13 this year, ORTON will be out broadcasting like Brian Griese is doing, and JOHN FOX will bring in another QB just to make sure that TEBOW is not running this team. I think Kyle is WAY OVERRATED and to say that ORTON gives this team the best chance to win is ONE HELL OF A GUTLESS thing to say. TEBOW is just waiting patiently until John gets fired midway through the season to get another coach in, that will actually put TEBOW in the game to win for us. This is the only chance of this happening. JOHN FOX is not helping us, he just makes excuses, and doesn’t deliver results. YOU HAVE TO WIN GAMES, and thats one thing that KYLE cant do. Sure TEBOW may not win the first second or third. Look at Bradford. He is 0-4 this year but ya know what. At least his leadership believes in him. The starters would believe in him if the leaders would. ITS TIME TO CHANGE THE LEADERSHIP… “FOX needs to go as much as ORTON does!!!”….

  19. Crazyhorserider says:

You are WRONG TRB, the Packers are way above average with one of the top receiving corps and a very tough defence, with Hawk and Matthews both murderous linebackers.

  20. 1nOnlyTRB says:

    Thx Costa Rica

This team is just being run by fear … because of the great McD experiment that failed … now we are all about safe … well safe doesn’t get you anywhere. It just hurst to see our team this bad … it really does … and its probably because im a young football fan and never expereinced the terrible years in the past. TRB

  21. Broncos Born & Raised says:

I find it hilarious people are ready to jettison Fox after four games. Priceless!

  22. jsizzla says:

Heard that from one of by buddies in Wichita about Bowlen that he suffers from Dementia. Can’t anyone step forward and stop a guy from ****ing up a good thing! My better judgement told me everything McD was doing was going to be bad and it was right!

  23. O&BinCostaRica says:

    txwinebergs,

I respect your opinion. I really do dude. But the defense looks a lot better and that is on Fox all the way. One CB, LB and DL in the draft away from BIG things. The SAD thing is really the Orton thing! It is all about the salary escalators.

I am sure they KNOW Orton is no good, they tried to trade the beeotch. They couldn’t and have to stick with him until the Tebow and Quinn escalators don’t kick in. However, that is BS too, they could play Quinn for 5 games and then Tebow the rest and thus no escalators.

We just need a change at QB! Any change is good. That, or the stadium will be filled with opposing team fans from now on.

Horserider, please … i heard the same crock about the colts receiving Corps … Manning makes them … without him … they are nothign … without Vick the Eagles lose (with him they have a chance) … without Brady LOSE … without Rodgers … that team has a good receiving corps … but quite honestly … when our whole corps is healthy … they are pretty fantastic too but it doesnt matter as long as the QB can’t make it happen.

And thier defense is good … but honestly … our sucky team … amongst others are able to put up points on them … they had the 31 ranked pass D before this game … and I think the top run D … and our team ran over 100 yards on them … and we are not that good at running … they are not that good … Rodgers makes them. He forces teams to play his game of who can shoot higher and no team in my opinion can match them … i cant wait to see their first loss to see who beats them … also the coaching and play calling is great but Rodgers ability to scramble …extend plays … (he is better agaisnt the pass rush than most QBs without a rush) and perfect placement makes this team. 26. 1nOnlyTRB says:

whoa whoa whoa BBR … dunno about Jettison fox … but he needs to make some touch decisions and talk straight. I like the guy … unlike McD … I really like fox but he is too old schoolish and rigid sometimes … plus I don’t think Fox win loss record is that fantastic so its not like he is some HOF coach … but I was willign to give him the bennefit of the doubt because his hands were tied in carolina. here is a idea. Stop going to the games until they bench orton and play tebow. Hit em where it hurts.,

What would happen if we just refused to play anymore games? I am sooooo tired of embarassing plays. An onside kick this year? A fake punt last year by the Redskins? I mean really???!!!!!!!!

My vote is to just sit out the rest of the season so that the embarassment stops. This is ridiculous. We need some people who will play their guts out on the field?

3 and out to start the game. Pick six. Fumble at the one yard line. Pick in the end zone. For Christ’s sake…..this team is in pathetic shape. Thank you Josh McD.

Well I did get ONE thing right from tonight’s game….

I said that Miller would get his #3 and #4 sacks tonight and that he did!! It really killed us tonight not having Champ in AGAIN!!! Our secondary is getting really old!! The officials didn’t do their job as well tonight and I really didn’t know what they were seeing at times! Rodgers clearly didn’t have that TD and also I don’t know where they saw pass interference on that 3rd down and 7 play.

  31. O&BinCostaRica says:

That’s about to happen sir. I don’t think anyone wants to pay to watch Orton play. It is just too sad. I mean, and hopefully baylinorcrush will get back from whatever bar he is and will correct me, I cannot for the life of me remember when we had QB play as depressing as this. Was it Griese? Cause Plummer, Cutler and those were a Ton more fun than Orton.

The fake punt i believe was by the chargers last year. Also I wonder if Miller was crying at the draft because WE drafted him. Hope not love that guy!

  34. shaztah says:

The thing that puzzles me is the people that say pull Orton and put in Tebow and if he fails we can draft a QB. So we are only giving Tebow a half year and 3 games to prove himself? Orton got 7 years and Quinn got 5. You have to give him time to improve and prove himself. Wouldn’t that be fair?

  35. baylinorcrush says:

Man I’m so glad this one is over.

No more hearing how some feel somewhere deep inside that we can beat these world champions.

That this has all the makings of a trap game.

Or even going as far as guaranteing a Bronco win.

All this hogwash is behind us and now every Bronco fan can realize exactly how far behind elite teams like the Packers we really are.

They basically toyed with us most of the game, from the onside kick to going for it on 4th.

Good thing we got Moreno and DJ back some said, what a joke Moreno is, humping up and down on the line of scrimmage after being stopped for no gain looking like the total idiot he is, and other than a couple plays late Woodyard made all the impact, not DJ.

Going for a two point conversion and handing it off to Mreno for a run up the middle, hahahaha, obviously Fox knows nothing about last year, that was hysterical.

And Fox plays Tebow to appease the fans, ONCE, and for a run right up the middle, hysterical once again, what a genius way of utilizing him!

Orton and his pick 6 right to Woodson who is known for those.

Beadles negating a huge play with a hand to the face.

    Fells fumble.

    Orton with two more INTs.

    What a nightmare!

  38. jsizzla says:

I agree shaztah, it’s just SOME playing time would be nice, especially in a trounch like we were just in. That’s why I say just play him Orton is not gonna turn this around and take us to the playoffs so LET’S GO already!

    Fells fumble.

    Orton with two more INTs.

    What a nightmare!

Not without good things though as with any games.

    Decker is all world.

Dawk can still bring it as we know and stopped them on 4th down at the beginning of the game saving us sure points. On one play it was painful to see him trying to keep up with a receiver on a long TD, on another play he runs a receiver down saving a TD, great effort as usual.

    Mays plays hard.

Lloyd can still make the tough catches but the other teams have caught on, thank god for Decker.

McGahee is the man and Moreno needs to sit behind Ball and probably Johnson, what a joke that man is once again.

Nice play calling by McCoy at times, like the fleaflicker but Orton couldn’t get it there and it’s scary to think that in the 4th game of the season he has turned to noodle arm already, last year he was ok til a little later, must be getting old.

Miller is all world on D, sacks galore and stops for no gains everywhere.

Whilhite is the greatest late addition we could of hoped for, all over the place.

Rahim got his first Bronco INT!

In closing we let them score 7 TDs and never could hold them to a FG, not even once, absolutely problematic, we came in thinking our O sucks and it still does overall, but we thought our D was much improved and boy do we have a long way to go there too. Overall we are evenly bad across the board and definitely in the Luck sweepstake race, and KC won so we’re last in the division, other than that everything looks pretty good, LOL.

I’ll do the score predictions results first thing tomorrow am as usual,
gonna watch what should be a good game tonight, Jets-Ravens.

So glad this week is over….

Here is a Fox quote about the Packer game in an article posted a few minutes ago.

“I thought our offense was very impressive, other than the turnovers,” Fox said. “It wasn’t all the quarterback (Kyle Orton). It was all of us.”

He sounds satisfied with the way things are going.

I think Fox can turn this D around he already has! But he’d be a better coordinator than head coach. We should have gone with Urban Meyer or even Studs. I didn’t like the Fox hire, thought we kind of settled, and for what? We haven’t been contenders in years so why try a quick turnaround? Was actually disappointed in the hire and tryed to picture winning a SB with him and what the announcers would say and I just couldn’t picture it. But I can picture TT making every skeptic and hater out there eat their words!!

  45. jsizzla says:

Von Miller will be all-world in a couple years. “So we got that going for us, which is nice.”

“I thought we did a great job in the second quarter to fight back and get a couple touchdowns and make a game of it there going into halftime,” Orton said.

Fox or Orton will never say something like, ‘we stink, it’s unacceptable, I/we have to get better.’

It’ll also be ‘at least we did this right or if it wasn’t for this or that we would have had a chance.’

If you’re reading this Mr. Fox or Orton, I’m sorry but that’s how losers talk and if you keep accepting defeat that easy all you’ll do is lose.

Even my high school coach would have never let that fly.
