Hopefully that game shook off the preseason rusts..... We'll get em' next time....."Glass half-full". we didnt give MJD a rushing TD, held him under 100...SPs need tweaking..probably still a young unit. TE coverage needs work... overall, Im glad the season has kicked off. He DECIDED to get rid of a QB who can make plays for one who will simply run his offense. One without the talent to do ANYTHING. i.e. You all always talk about how Orton does well until he is pressures. WELLLL pressure busts pipes. When the game is on the line and Orton HAS TO make a play, he fails every time. Remember the Bengal game, he threw 1 pass that should have been intercepted and dropped and a second that was tipped and then a miracle for the win. The Dallas game he threw a bad pass that Marsh made into a miracle. This is the Orton m.o. as long as the game is on "schedule" he is fine. He cannot make a play. We gave up on TWO receivers that can MAKE PLAYS. Marshall would have made that catch in the end zone, I believe it, I know it. Even the announcers during the game said, you gotta have talent guys. Dez is making plays in Dallas. Bay-Bay? has not even been on the field. DECKER played special teams. Which i might add, McD said he improved. KM is slow and not a game changer. We should have drafted Orakpo. Rookie of the year last year, and the reason the holding call was called last night. The secondary gets old overnight. WE STILL HAVE NO LINE. Ayers stll sucks. He got that 1 sack after Garrard held the ball for 8 seconds...watch the replay. Five step drop then wait for three counts. Even I can gt there faster than that. Moss...nothing. All the free agent pickups...nada. Mojo still almost 100 yards over 4 per carry. THANKS JAMAL WILLIAMS you are making a difference. This is a hard team to watch. Whew now with all that said, can't wait to go to the game Sunday and hopefully watch a win. Denver is 4-0 in games I have attended. Things happen. The only people surprised by this loss and panicing are the ones that thought we would be really good this year. from 10-6 - 13 - 3. We are fans, we are supposed to be optimistic but realism helps too and quite frankly, without Marshall, our offense took a hit. Without Doom our D took a hit. And without Nolan, our D once again, took a hit. Hate it or love it, those are facts. Now we just gotta play the waiting game to see new guys emerge and Wink come into his own. No need to panic. Just take us for what we are. An average team trying to find its winning identity that the coach is trying (and so far failing) to instill. Nothing happens overnight, and whether it ever happens, who knows. I just always love watching Broncos football. Would be great if we could win, but nothing we as fans can do about that. Keep the faith like Ashely would always say, and just try your best to enjoy the season and not stress it and get high blood pressure cuz its gonna be a loooooong season lol.
