    Chiefs 17

  4. canadasbroncfan says:

magh going down aint good but did anyone ever hear of addaii before he lined up behind manning. ball, hillman,km, ill think we will be allright. manning still wants to throw it 50 times anyway he is a qb what qb dosent thats why they are qbs ever hear in a interview that they are happy they handed it of 40 times. now we are going to see some numbers from him. cant wait

  5. canadasbroncfan says:

You know what, just let Tebow go Jets, down 35 points, let Sanchez get some getting killed stats to make himself feel better. I know Tebow isnt the best but now its getting ridiculous. Watching R Ryan interview who hires him next

  6. canadasbroncfan says:

all you americans are to drunk to talk on the blog tonight or is it you are standing in line at Best Buy for Black Friday

  7. sndvl says:

To stuffed from all the fixin’s Canada.
Which reminds me, I’m about ready for my midnight turkey sandwich and 2nd slice of pie.
The Black Friday concept is out of control in my opinion.
Only way I’d stand in a line is if Authentic jerseys were 50% or more off! Or are they Elite jerseys? Whatever they are called. Everything else I can buy online and have shipped to my door…

  8. sndvl says:

Tebow has broken ribs? Aren’t they supposed to announce that before the game? That’s was the most interesting thing about that beat down!

What a bogus ruling on that Texan TD run. Thought the Toucherception was a bad call… That was just as bad. And due to a technicality?

RG3. First game I actually watched him play in the pros. He is scary good…

  9. Bronco_Turtle says:

sndvl! I enjoyed watching RG3 today as well…

I have a question? Historically when the term ‘Black’ has been applied to anything it has been in a derogatory sense i.e. Black Plague, Black Sox or Black Tuesday (Oct 29, 1929…the economic trigger of the great depression)… why is ‘Black’ Friday different? and I agree that the whole concept is totally out of control

  10. baylinorcrush says:

Today we can call him RG4:

Robert Griffin III threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns, helping the Washington Redskins beat the Dallas Cowboys 38-31 on Thursday. The Heisman Trophy winner from Baylor made the Cowboys (5-6) look like an overmatched college team during the decisive second quarter in his first trip to Texas as a pro. Griffin was 8-of-8 passing for 178 yards and three touchdowns to key the first 28-point quarter in 13 years for the Redskins (5-6). The rookie became the first Washington quarterback to throw four touchdown passes in consecutive games. Courtesy of the AP.

Here is my early suggestion for the front office:

It is now wildly known that Griffin has been an ardent fan of the Broncos ever since he was a little kid. It is also reported that he knows the names of every single team member of our winning SB teams even so he was only 7 in 1997. And to top that off Elway is his all time QB idol bar none.

So here we go, let’s have Elway start doing everything that’s humanly possible to begging the process of luring RG3 over here after the end of his Redskins contract.

    Period.

    That would be in 2016.

I’m starting the RG3 to Denver campaign right now. As many of you may know I was always stricken by Griffin and thought he should win the Heisman hands down, so understand it’s not just a crush I have on the guy, it’s been a full love affair for a while now, LOL, reminiscent of how I felt for Elway. Other than Manning there is no one who would remotely come close to making me feel like a million bucks like RG3 would if he became our QB.

Of course Elway might of already started this process since there is an uncanny resemblance to how they both play(ed). Imagine how rewarding it would be to manage a team with a QB you can totally relate to.

Peyton signed a 5 year contract and if both these players can stay healthy, it would be a transition made in heaven.

I know this all sounds like a dream but so what? Dig it!

The thing about Griffin is how more advanced he is as a man than most other athletes. On top of having more talent for the position than anyone else including Luck, the man is absolutely light years of his age as far as his life overall, exactly the kind of men that I love having on our team, not just talented football freaks, but great men too. And they don’t come across that often. Tebow was a great man but he couldn’t match it with the NFL talent. Manning has got both. And I’m not going to ruin anyone’s Thanksgiving week-end spelling out the ones who don’t on our team, Thanksgiving is for giving thanks, not pointing out ugly deficiencies, specially mental, LOL.

It was OT who said something like everyone grows up at a different pace, couldn’t agree more.

RG3 you the man! And Shanny, you’re the lucky man! But of course the smart one too, you gave away what many thought was crazy to get him but RG3 will undoubtedly save your job, but watch out in 2016, you will have to make other plans when RG3 chooses us….

On a more realistic note, since I’m slowly emerging from my dream, SHOP TIL YOU DROP!

  11. baylinorcrush says:

    * light years ahead of his age….

  12. Royalbroncofan1 says:

The Lions had their chance to beat the Texans and couldn’t convert the FG.
The rest of the season should be a cakewalk for the Texans with the Patriots being the only formidable opponent.

What a nice Thanksgiving treat to see RGIII & the ‘skins take out the Cowboys.
Couldn’t agree more re: RGIII – he can definitely ball with the best of them.
Their next game vs the Giants on Monday night 12/03/12 will be an great matchup.

Didn’t bother to tune in and watch the Pats last night.

  13. baylinorcrush says:

Lions and Browns, over the years no NFL team has spelled LOSERS any better than they do.

  14. Royalbroncofan1 says:

The orginal Browns had to leave town before they had success as the Ravens…lol.

  15. baylinorcrush says:

You missed Sanchez kissing one his lineman’s butt which caused him to fumble the ball which was returned for a TD by the Pats, you got to watch the replays, priceless!

  16. OTbroncos says:

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. Us Broncos fans have a LOT to be thankful for nowadays, but none more than not being a Jets fan:

  17. OTbroncos says:

If we are in need of some locker room material for the game on Sunday, let me offer the following article…

    http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2012/11/21/3674962/chiefs-have-beaten-the-broncos-more-than-any-other-team

  18. OTbroncos says:

Sign me up for the RGIII campaign bay. I’d love to read anything on his Broncos fandom, if anyone has anything.

  19. Royalbroncofan1 says:

Too funny bay, I’ll have to watch that on NFLN.

  20. raidrhadr says:

Bay…I revisited that Sanchez fumble 50 times last night. Couldn’t believe I had the energy to laugh so hard after TG dinner. The Jets are pathetic.

  21. baylinorcrush says:

Yeah, that’s about the funniest thing I ever watched in football, hahahahaha.

  22. baylinorcrush says:

The whole second quarter was a comedy of errors, a real enjoyable time for those who hate the Jets, hilarious, and sad, really sad for all Jets fans.

  23. baylinorcrush says:

This was just before yesterday’s game:

Griffin, born overseas while his parents — both U.S. Army sergeants — were stationed in Japan, spent his formative years in Texas, rooting for the Denver Broncos. He said growing up he had friends who were “big, big Cowboy fans” and he enjoyed bragging when the Broncos beat the Cowboys on Thanksgiving — the last time a 24-21 overtime victory for Denver in 2005.

He said those friends told him they hope he would have a good game, but they aren’t rooting for his team to feast on Turkey Day.

“They tell me they’ll be cheering for me, but that they still want their guys to win,” Griffin said. “I can accept that, but we’ve still got to go out and get the victory.”

So, in essence he thinks like a Bronco already, all we have to do is lure him in 2016.

  24. OTbroncos says:

My memory must be cloudy, but I could have sworn that ‘FLBroncoGator’ was going to come back around this time to rub in how bad of mistake John Elway made, and how great the Jets were…

  25. baylinorcrush says:

This was just before the draft:

WACO — Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III will likely be the No. 2 pick in next month’s NFL draft. That would put the Heisman Trophy winner under center for the Washington Redskins.

Griffin said Wednesday after his 30-minute throwing session at Baylor’s pro day that he grew up a fan of the Denver Broncos and has long admired the teams coached by Washington coach Mike Shanahan. Griffin said that his fiancee is also a big Shanahan fan, having also grown up rooting for the Broncos.

“I didn’t grow up a Cowboys fan, so no tension there,” Griffin said about likely becoming the starting quarterback of the Cowboys’ NFC East rival. “I know there are a lot of Baylor fans who are Cowboys’ fans. We’ll see what happens.”

To make matters worse for Cowboys’ fans, Griffin’s father, Robert Griffin Jr., grew up a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Shanahan and Redskins owner Dan Snyder took Griffin, his fiancee and his parents out to dinner Tuesday night in Waco. Griffin’s father said that his son impressed Shanahan with his knowledge of Shanahan’s former Denver Broncos teams.

Those teams, of course, were led by quarterback John Elway.

“Since Elway, [Shanahan] hasn’t had that guy you could associate him with, so hopefully I can be that guy,” Griffin III said. “If I’m available at that spot, then I’ll be excited to be that guy. I’m not going to be the guy who replaced Elway because I’m not in Denver, but it’d be pretty cool to be that guy he could nurture and build up when [I get] into the league.”

Yeah, that’s all good, it was all politically correct and Shanny is a good second choice but I think we all know deep inside his long time dream would be to play for the Broncos, that’s just obvious to me. Pretty much as obvious as Miller’s long time dream to play for the Cowboys, but that’s a whole other story and one not as fun to debate, LOL.

  26. baylinorcrush says:

    LMAO@OT!!!!

    No guts, no glory…

  27. killerkod says:

Hope all you americans had a great thanksgiving holiday!

RG3 is uber impressive……..and if the skins can actually build a D behind him, they can be awesome. Garcon, when healthy, is wickedly explosive. Loved seeing the boys eat it yesterday………romo can throw for all kinds of yards, but his turnovers always cost his team the game. Is it just me or does Dez look for a flag on every single play? lol

In the Lions game, I think the challenge flag penalty rule is bunk. Sure it should be a penalty, but that shouldn’t negate the officials from getting the call right on the field. NFL has to change that. But either way, it essentially didn’t cost them the game. The Lions had ample opportunities after that to win and they just didn’t, flat out. Such a culture of losing in that organization.

But I will say this……..if we get another shot at the Texans, I think we win…..handley…not easily, but handley. Thier D really isn’t that great and I think our D, with the way we’ve improved, would handle Shaub and Foster.

Looking forward to seeing the Chiefs get destroyed at home………so bad that they might not even show up for the last game of the year.

    GO BRONCOS!

  28. OTbroncos says:

That’s pretty cool bay. It’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility. Shanahan (60) retiring at the same time as RG3′s rookie contract expires would help, and seeing how we paid Shanny for an extra year when he left, I think he owes us that much!

  29. strandoftds82 says:

We plat the Cowboys next year in Dallas. I bet there’s a good chance we play the Cowboys on Thanksgiving in 2013. 1-8 chance since the game is in Dallas. Just a thought. LOL

  30. strandoftds82 says:

That TD against the lions was wild. Thats a terrible rule, and it takes away from the game. You gotta earn those TD’s. That was a big joke really.

  31. Bronco_Turtle says:

Good luck getting a Defense behind RG3 before Shanny gets fired! He doesn’t have a first Rounder for the next two years!!! Plus with all the Salary Cap issues that team has, poor RG3 will get swallowed up and spit out like so many other talented QB’s that played with his skill set…

I’m not even close to ready to say that RG3 will be a success any more than I think Cam Newton is actually a success… Both have talent, but both have many years of quality football ahaed of them to really earn the monacher ‘Star’… Let’s not jump to conclusions and just enjoy watching the kid as he learns to be a consistent pro level QB…

  32. tlcat06 says:

    1. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

    2. I love RGIII. Period. He and Andrew Luck are amazing quarterbacks and I cannot wait to see their rivalry truly develop. It will be like Peyton and Tom I’m sure. If there is any way to get him to play for the Broncos I’d love it. Not that I want to be greedy or anything. It’ll be cool to play him next year and I hope that game is in Denver.

  33. tlcat06 says:

Strand, I’m almost positive our Broncos/Cowboys game will be on Thanksgiving next year.

  34. strandoftds82 says:

    I believe so too.

  35. Bronco_Turtle says:

Strand, I think that TD was also and insult to the rules of the game… with and explanation like ‘Since it was ruled a scoring play it automatically goes to the booth for review, but because a challenge flag was thrown by a coach it makes the play unreviewable…’?

Not only is it just plain silly, it’s an insult to the integrity of the game that instant replay is suppose to uphold… Sad

  36. tlcat06 says:

BT there is one huge difference between RGIII and Cam Newton. RGIII is a kind, considerate, humble guy. Cam is not. Cam is all about himself and I have NOT seen that from RGIII. Attitude makes a difference with where or not you’re successful for the long haul.

  37. strandoftds82 says:

And with the Possibility of Matt Barkley starting at QB for the Cowboys. LOL

  38. OTbroncos says:

Btw, did anyone else find the irony in the Indians beating the Cowboys on Thansgiving?

  39. tlcat06 says:

    *whether

  40. strandoftds82 says:

I totally agree Turtle! That was a real joke to say the least.

  41. tlcat06 says:

Lol…mi don’t care who plays QB for the Cowboys next year. Think about how good OUR TEAM could be next year.

  42. strandoftds82 says:

RG3 is a very likeable person. I like the guy.

  43. tlcat06 says:

You can hate that rule because its an awful rule, but this happened last week. All the coaches should know the rule so I understand he was mad and knew that it wasn’t a touchdown, but he should’ve never ever thrown that flag. Never ever. It’s e 12th week of football and this is a new rule, yes, and one that will change this off season, but the red flag should’ve never been thrown.

  44. strandoftds82 says:

Will be even better next year. I think our D will be even scarier. LOL

  45. Bronco_Turtle says:

Cat, what difference does that make with what kind of success they will have on the field? The only thing I’m saying is that last year the Rave was all about how Cam was ‘revolutionizing’ the position… but look at this year. RG3 is packing the stat sheet, but he’s not the first QB of his mold to do so! Many many QB’s have come out and had a real good first season only to be forgotten by the NFL in five years…

All we can do is watch and find out

  46. strandoftds82 says:

He did over-react. After all, all TD’s are viewed upstairs. Blah!

  47. baylinorcrush says:

Cat, Turtle has stated he doesn’t care about anything but the talent level on the field in any player. The rest is none of our business.

  48. tlcat06 says:

BT if you don’t think attitude affects whether or not a player has success I don’t know what to say. Because it does. You’re telling me right now that you think Andrew Luck is a one hit wonder? When he’s basically won 6 games by himself due to the fact that his team has the worst defense in the league right now?

  49. tlcat06 says:

Bay, I’m not like him. I do care about how people react to certain situations because I am a teacher and I know how attitude affects success. It is no different in football.

  50. baylinorcrush says:

The NFL has already said today they would review that bogus new rule in the off season. It’s a wonder why they came up with it in the first place, it’s like a punishment rule, noting else, very condescending on the coaches.

Good catch on the indians beating the cowboys, haha.
