Remember you gave me Hell over drinkin’….when I don’t even have a drinkin’ problem!!!!!!!!!!
OSS is right…..the debriefings were something some military personnel shared with the Team.
As a result Coach Fox, encouraged the Team to utilize this form of communication and that was all PFM needed.
You never answered my e-mail Doom, what’s up with that? LOL.
OSS is probably talking about the DP article below, but I see nothing related to Manning talking to his O line, even so I understand the debriefing concept. Whoever calls for it, I really like it, it’s so unlike Cutler and Orton, two of the biggest stiffs communication wise you’ll ever see:

Anyway, that read is way more interesting than just the military aspect of it, great insight on many aspects of the organization.
Hopefully Porter has his seizure issues managed for the long term, so happy for him to be back at full strength.
And with Kuper back this is by far the healthiest Bronco team I have seen in at least since 1998, which happens to be basically all the years that Rick Tuten ran one of the worse conditioning program I ever saw. Thank you once again Del Rio for talking the organization into bringing in Luke Richesson, you da man!
Bay, I have a legitimate football question, that I’ve been pondering since I tried to navigate that ‘Comfortably Numb’ Post from a couple weeks ago… So, just for your own fact base, Ayers was the 18th pick and not the 17th, but that is really no biggie…
It has to do with you claiming we were essentially assured a second Superbowl, but I really remember that season very differently… I believe that we were not the best team in the league that year, and a peek at the stats and the game film will second this notion, that the Minnesota Vikings went 15-1 that season and had a passing attack/ entire offense with Robert Smith Running the ball that was really a thing of beauty…
My question is this, were you in fact comfortably numb during that season, or did you in fact watch every game being excited about our Team and being a little nervous of the upcoming showdown (that never happened)? I was nervous all season long, and it was one of the greatest days of my sports watching career when Anderson(I think) missed that kick to allow the Falcons a chance, and then when the Falcons won the NFC Championship I started to have that Comfortably Numb feeling, realizing there is no way Altanta can compete with our Boys…
Just Curious, because there are teams this year that remind me some of the ’98 Vikings…
This article has Manning talking about the sideline “huddle ups” and how they came about.

Yeah they spoke about the Broncos meeting with military personnel on KOA 850 radio sometime back and local sports show at night.
Good to have Porter back…maybe he can play in some 7db packages. Harris is playing lights out right now.
Comfortably numb all year, we never won as many games by as many points early in the games than that year the way I remember it, don’t really care to look back at the exact numbers, and it really had nothing to do with what other teams were doing, us winning it all seemed inevitable to me. You ought to let those thoughts about my thinking go man, that was like so yesterday I said that, LOL.
With the M
With the Mile High salute and military O line briefings we are really finding our identity, haha.
Did you guys notice JJ Watts doing the military salute after every big play? It’s a copy cat league they say…
Yeah, I noticed him doing that, not allowed unless you’re a Bronco..lol.
Speaking of Porter, the man has clearly won the ‘best socks of the year’ award. Would love to get my hands on a pair of these:

Thanks for the link. Explains it. I wonder how I missed that. I must be slipping on my reading everything Bronco! And thanks to everyone who filled me in.

Anyone think that Fox could put in Osweiler if any of our remaining games are out of hand, or perhaps start him at home vs KC in the season finale, if all the playoff picture is decided by then?
Interesting question, as if you remember, the Colts sat their starters on the final game of the season a few years ago (which ironically allowed the Jets to make the playoffs), and the Colts were rusty as a result and failed to win the SB. Sitting only your QB is different than sitting all your starters, but Manning could still have that in the back of his head.
Well, looking forward to the game tomorrow………should be a totally one-sided affair but that’s why they play the games.
Also, tomorrow is the Grey Cup game in Toronto with the hometown Argos against the Clagary Stampeders. I’m not much of a CFL fan even though I’m Canadian, but I’ll prob watch some of the game. It is, afterall, the 100th Grey Cup game…..ONE HUNDREDTH!!! which shows a ton of history of the game in Canada…..even if the rules are messed up! lol Does anyone here even know what a “rouge” is? haha
I was in the Air Force from 61-65, but, very fortunately, no time in Nam. I spent most of my 4 year hitch teaching electronic fundamentals at Lowry AFB. They were getting short of warm bodies trained in my AFSC near the end of my hitch, but didn’t have enough time left to do a Nam tour. Not sure how I’d have handled it as I’m more a Ghandi than a Patton. It still sickens me of all the waste of lives. Not just the 50,000 military we lost, but the 5,000,000 Vietanamese we killed trying to destroy an idea rather than offering a better one. (Off my soapboix now.)
ALL HAIL THE NECK!!!!
DON’T WRECK THE NECK!!!
