So paulbedichek, you know that you accept it quietly and move on. I hope The Broncos don’t put themselves in that situation anymore. Cinci got unlucky and thats the way it goes some times, thats why you never rub it in, (Unless you suck out on the jerk of the table).

I live in hamilton oh. I was at the game sunday sourrounded by bengal fans. when stokely caught that tip ball i was going off in the stands, I was telling them to shut the **** up I mean i was yelling it to the point I lost my voice. Some punk as cincy fan threw a bottle at me behind me, I turned and tried to climb the seats to whoop’em but security was there telling me 2 calm down. But other than that I think our o gotta be more productive hillis and buck should’ve had mre carries and orton is a bum or at least played like 1. Our d gotta work on pass defense and boost our pass rush. Orton is a bum wer simms and the rookie at?

I think Moreno will find his way, gotta jam it up in there sometimes son and not look for the outside homer all the time. Those things come with time. The OLB’s have GOT to start shutting down the running lanes, the inside guys were forcing the plays to the outside only to see BENSON zip on by. I was high on Alphonso Smith before he was drafted, but WOW, I was impressed with the kid! Stop rushing Elvis inside Josh, he’s an edge rusher and that’s where he’s an elite threat, not on guards. Kuper can’t get healthy fast enough, good grief the rookie got handled all day. This meant that Casey had to help him out for most of the day instead of sliding proctection over to Hamilton when he was getting bull rushed. I hope that was the worst game Casey plays all year because that was a bad one. We got lucky, and we all deserved to have some good luck finally, now we need to prove the deep ball is still in the playbook.

broncomike, I think Moreno eventually will be fine but, problem is he is behind the 8 ball now. He held out for 8 days of training camp, then got hurt and is basically a month behind everyone else. Barring further injuries, I would say he’ll start producing on a consistent basis maybe by the New-England game, but more likely after the bye week. Rookie RB’S usually take awhile getting used to the speed of the game in the pros, everything seems to be going 100mph now, with time everything will start slowing down. When it does, it looks that this young man could turn into the best back we’ve had since Portis.

Anyway, I think Buckhalter has a lot left in the tank regardless of his age because he has mainly always been a back up RB in his career. If we play him more and back him up with Hillis, I believe our running game will be more than adequate before Moreno is fully NFL ready. Please, Jordan on short yardage and passing downs only.

There is always room for improvement, I thought for sure we were gonners after the Kyle Orton sack that put us out of field goal range to go up 9 to 0. D still needed to make that one big play to seal the deal but the folded and made Palmer look like a stud the final drive. I believe in Miracles but i wasnt expecting anything like what happened when Stokley caught that tipped ball. Great heads up play to run time off, thats what Vets do, he could have danced or been celebrating halfway to the endzone but his choice to run just a few seconds off really helped. Congrats on history Stoks.
baylinorcrush: What did you think about Knowshons Morenos preformance. Looks like he is one player away from breaking a big play. I just hope McD gives him the ball more. Hes a playmaker that needs the ball. . . Go Broncs

baylinorcrush, I do agree, too.

Both defenses (Cincy’s and ours) played very well. Their O showed a bit more when our D become preventive than our O, but anyway we got the turnover difference (the 1st, because the last one was kind of obvious), so kind of even.

There’s a big big room for improvement in all the 3 parts. I’m sure there’s been a lot of learning also for the coaches. The system is not where I guess it should be, but it seems it’s moving towards somewhere (unlike last year). I also agree that one game isn’t enough to determine if the D, or the O, or ST are what we all expect, but a W is a W, and now it counts.

WOW baylinorcrush, You took the word right out of my head. Great evaluation and post, every statement you’ve made is valid and I could’nt agree with you more on Graham and Hillis. Keepin it realistic.

I’m glad The Broncos ground one out and Cinci got unlucky.
It feels like dishing out a bad beat on the river card at the poker table, you accept it but know they got unlucky. You don’t talk trash and you don’t jump up and down all happy. You just accept it, move on to the next hand, and try not to put yourself into those situations anymore…
