  24. strandoftds82 says:

    Gotta like Porter.

  25. strandoftds82 says:

My Lakers are gonna be lethal this year. Their line up is monstrous. Holy Cow!1

  26. eternalorangeandblue says:

kinda pissed we didn’t get the shutout. Thought our D was stingier than that.

  27. alaskanbronco06 says:

Stran I like that they got him. But they really screw over the Nuggets who I also like.

  28. tlcat06 says:

AB I don’t want to talk about it. I’m mad that the Nuggets had to be stupid tonight when I am so happy about my football team!

  29. alaskanbronco06 says:

  31. tlcat06 says:

    Dear Seachickens,

Peyton Manning is playing the first quarter next week. Please shake in your boots because you don’t have a chance in h@ll of beating him.

  32. alaskanbronco06 says:

Cat no I didnt. I will go look for it.

And I will watch him. But I dont really want to…..Just glad he doesnt knock out a teammate/

  33. mrauser says:

This is a much improved team from last year. Offense and Defense have a lot of depth and will be tough Roster cuts.I say trade Hanie but Chicago won’t take him back lol We got more TE ends than the Cheerleaders .Its going be a great year but the schedule is brutal but we can win 10 games and be really ready for a SB run

  34. alaskanbronco06 says:

Haha Glad to see the Seachickens stick LOL

  35. tlcat06 says:

No! Don’t look for it! Wolfe dominated! TWO sacks!

  36. tlcat06 says:

  39. tlcat06 says:

BStokley says he ran the wrong route. Claims the INT

  40. broncosfreak718 says:

Okay here are my notes from the games. Every preseason game I always take notes on what I see and I saw a lot of great stuff tonight to my surprise…

Offense- Offensive line protected Manning beautifully! He bought a lot of time in the pocket. You could tell he had some rust that he had where he threw to Tamme where he didn’t see the LB that should’ve been a pick that Tamme caught but the pick that he threw was Stokeleys fault I must say as it went off his hands. Decker and Tamme were two great targets for Manning along with Thomas’s catch that was called back due to a holding call…Too many holding penalties on offense. I believe I counted 6-7. Hanie was good when running the ball but not all that great at throwing..he definitely looked like the 4th string qb instead of the 2nd string. I see Os passing him for the back up spot before the regular season. McGahee looked great along with Moreno who showed some flashes and Omon looked really good even though I don’t see him making the team but he was very surprising. Jason Hill made some clutch catches and like always my boy Matt Willis showed why he deserves to make the team…very reliable receiver. Manning does need some more work but that is expected. He still looked great despite that throw to Tamme that was deflected that Tamme still came down with. Also Corneilus Ingram really turned some heads tonight. I hope he makes it and they cut Virgil Green which I see happening. I believe we keep 4 TE’s with Tamme, Dressen, Thomas, and Ingram.

Defense…man was I excited about this group. I don’t think I saw ANY missed tackles tonight…at least none that I remember. The WOLFE MAN got two sacks and another great tackle for a short gain on the quarterback. Miller got a fumble recovery and about took it to the house. Porter and Florence showed great physicality and tackling ability. Nate Irving was making play after play. Trevathan had a nice tackle for loss…the thing I noticed that I told my friend was that each time the bears would catch a pass we would be right there to tackle them hard and bring them down. Their yards after catch was miserable which is great!! Definitely looked like a new and improved defense!! Our linebacking corps looked great which surprised me. Even Mays was all over the field and looked to have better mobility than he did last year. I loved seeing Moore bring great physicality to the game as well that I noticed. Ayers had a nice sack. I believe all together we had around 6-8 sacks. Wolfe looks like we got a huge steal in the draft getting him in the 2nd round..

Special Teams…Was pretty disappointed to see Prater miss the 57 yarder but it is only preseason. I don’t believe he had any of his kicks returned tonight. Our returning game looked pretty good as we got our offense started in nice positions plenty of times. Prater boomed the ball all night and Colquitt also looked really good at pinning their offense deep back in their own territory. We did great containing Hester the one time we kicked to him.

I will be watching the game again tomorrow so I will touch on any other things that stick out that I see.

So…. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE SEASON TO START!!! Haven’t been on in a while but I made it to training camp and the scrimmage and was waiting to see live game action to post but looks like this team is a vast improvement over last years squad! Depth is the key and I can not wait to see our fierce pass rush playing with a lead causing turnovers for the Ballhawks we’ve compiled in the secondary!

  42. alaskanbronco06 says:

How goes it Lax very long time no see.

  43. KooDUDE says:

I was at the game tonight, lucky enough i was on vacation in chicago the time of the game. Total domination from our 1st stringers to our 4th stringers. Fans were cheering when the bears moved the chains for the first time in the game in the 2nd quarter. Wolfe was awesome, linebackers were great, love florence and porter, Manning was a little rusty but considering the rain and heavy winds he played pretty well. His interception was the result of a great play by the db getting his hand on the ball before deflecting off of stokley and into the hands of the defender.

  44. tlcat06 says:

“Maybe in someways I have even gotten better. Now I have the ability to throw a ball in a linebacker’s hands and tip it to my own player, Tamme.” ~Peyton Manning

He knows he’s funny. He does. It was written all over his face when he said that! ♥

    LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

  45. BroncosLax says:

Yeah AB been working two jobs trying to carve out a better future. Hopefully I’ll be on more as the season approaches. I was encouraged by Knowshon today as well as Ingram. Both of which have had their injury issues but both can make impacts… Sorry guys I will always back Moreno.

How’s it going AB… Set a date for the wedding yet? Expected date of arrival on your first child?

  46. tlcat06 says:

You can back Moreno, Lax. I’m just gonna jump on Omon’s wagon though and hope he beats Moreno out.
