ok well, I don't think its fair to take Orton out, but I do think Tebow needs some REAL time under center. I expected to at least see him during the Oakland game, but no...If Tebow is going to run this franchise someday he needs to start throwing passes today! Get him throwing some, we all know he can do it!

Thanks for the advice Baylin.

So if so much depends on next year what is likely to happen? Will we actually see a player strike? And what is Goodell doing about it?

Seems to me like they have plenty of time to sort things out

Crazyhorserider, I wish it was that simple, losing the remaining games so Bowlen cans McD. Unfortunatly as I have stated many times, money rules this team for now, Bolwen cannot afford to yet have another Head Coach gone and pay for him to sip margaritas in Accapulco. With the Dumervil contract fiasco and the league's future up in the air for next year, it is my feeling that Bowlen will wait out until next year plays out to decide what to do with McD, like it or not, I have pretty much made myself accept that, and if McD goes away sooner great, if he doesn't I don't keep myself opened up to more disappointments.

I actually think that we're 33rd in the league for rushing...the ball boys are even running the ball better than we are.

We don't need to lose games to get rid of him, we just need Bowlen to see the big equation...

Inability to run the ball Inability to stop the run Giving up leads
-------------------------- + --------------------------- + --------------------
             McD McD McD
Complete and utter, what seems like epic failure Everything else

the common denominator is McD

Note to Baylinorcrush

Not much to disagree on, and although I am English I do agree that having a team in England, and games in England, is a bit of a joke. When I see the Broncos it has to be in the US because truthfully there is no place quite like it. I spend all my vacations in America, have done for over 20 years, because i just love the place, and football belongs there.

Re the Broncos specifically it is hard to move from an habitual winning team under Shanahan to an habitual losing team under McDaniel's. When I became a Bronco's fan it was because of their spirit and passion which was mirrored by the fans. To hear the loss of hope in your realistic comments does bring it home to me that we have no hope this year or in the foreseeable future unless we have passion injected back into the team.

This passion has to come from the top and through the draft, we cannot rely on veteran passion which fades all too soon.

For McD to change the whole ethos of the team so that they cannot defend and cannot run the ball indicates to me that he is the biggest Joke and we have been had. It was as if a mole had been sent into the organisation, not to spy on us but to destroy us. McD is the worst type of virus and we need a charismatic winner to save us from a slow lingering death. When I wake up in the morning I hope that it has just been a nightmare and to find out how real it is has become incredibly depressing. The worst thing is that I want to get rid of McDaniels so much that I sometimes think it is better if we lose games until we get rid of the loser.

Does anybody else think that?
