With the season just passing the halfway mark, several Broncos are in the hunt for Pro Bowl bids, according to the fan-vote figures that the NFL released this week. Fan voting has been open since Oct. 25th and will end on Dec. 19 at the conclusion of the Monday Night Football matchup between the Steelers and 49ers.
Punter Britton Colquitt, safety Brian Dawkins, linebacker Von Miller and quarterback Tim Tebow are amongst the top-five vote getters in the AFC for their respective positions.
Tebow has led the Broncos to a 4-1 record since taking over as a starter this season, while Miller leads all rookies with eight sacks on the season. For his success, Miller was recently named Sports Illustrated’s midseason defensive rookie of the year.
Like Tebow and Miller, this would be Colquitt’s first Pro Bowl if elected, and he’s making a strong case for himself. Entering Week 11, the third-year punter out of Tennessee was one of only three NFL players to rank in the top-five in both gross and net punting average through nine games.
If the quartet is selected, Dawkins can show them the ropes. The 16th-year player has been to eight Pro Bowls and is in contention for his ninth, which would tie him with former Broncos safety John Lynch for second all-time in the NFL for Pro Bowl selections as a safety.

The teams will be announced at 5 p.m. MST on a special NFL Total Access 2012 Pro Bowl Selection Show on NFL Network.
The game will be played on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012.

Did you hear the one about the dyslexic agnostic that suffered from insomnia?
He laid awake all night wondering if there really is a “dog”!
I’m rooting for the Vikings today, with their “purple jesus
Talking football:
Raiders at Minn
SD at Bears
and tomorrow KC at Pats.
What a line up, only one I’ll miss is the Raider game, fun way to spend a no Bronco weekend.
Yeah oldsouth, that’s the nice thing about old man Woody, he gets to talk to some pretty cool people even if they are 80 years old. Zeke knows more about QBs than all of us combined.
I just saw Merril Hoge arguing about Tebow with Tom Jackson on ESPN earlier this am and I’m seriously thinking he could very well be Carnage, LOL.
The PR Campaign that John has sent to Former Broncos on Tebow has begun. No question I believed that the reason the former Broncos in the media were not giving Tebow much credit cuz John was not sure. Someone said how Tom Jackson was on ESPN giving Tebow credit enough to go against Merril Hoge in a debate about Tebow. Now Shannon Sharpe is as he said drinking the Koolaid on Tebow. Shannon took off his jacket and put on a Tebow jersey live on TV. Then when Cowher was saying Denver needs a Kyle Orton Package on pass plays. Shannon Turned his back on his colleagues and showed the Tebow name on the back of the jersey. Then said we need no Kyle package he is all we need at QB!!!! Lets go!!! Lets go!!! lmao
