And another RB bites the dust in Denver. So weird!!

Alright, SO READY to watch Sharpe get inducted into the HOF. So freakin’ awesome!!!!! :D

  2. strandoftds says:

Gable, my guy from USC. HaHa!!!

  3. baylinorcrush says:

Re-post, more adequate on this blog:

The New Orleans Saints have released running backs Lynell Hamilton and C.J. Gable.

Coach Sean Payton says releasing Hamilton was one of the toughest decisions of his career.

So we got the one Payton really didn’t care for… I hear Gable is just here as a camp body, it would seem obvious.

  4. strandoftds says:

I`m stoked about it 07Elway. It`ll be special.

  5. marshisboss says:

Thanks to Mcbean he just can’t do anything right

  6. baylinorcrush says:

    Jason Snelling, please…

  7. strandoftds says:

Gable, I`m pulling for you, My USC TROJANS!! YESSS!!!!!

  8. baylinorcrush says:

And I don’t even know why McBean is here, that makes it even worse…

  9. strandoftds says:

I bet Snelling would come cheap too.

  10. marshisboss says:

I was surprised to see him back Bay i thought he was gone for sure

  11. baylinorcrush says:

And strand is the ONLY Bronco fan excited by the addition of Gable, LOL.

  12. strandoftds says:

    Oh you know it.

  13. baylinorcrush says:

We brought McBean back BEFORE we brought in all those new DTs so he will be one of the first casulaty I would imagine.

  14. baylinorcrush says:

No way he can compete with Vickerson, Bunkley, Warren and Thomas…

  15. strandoftds says:

The only way McBean makes the team is if he is a backup. I don`t see it happening.

  16. baylinorcrush says:

You mean a back up to the back ups.

  17. strandoftds says:

The players you named are sufficiant enough.

  18. strandoftds says:

    sufficient.

  19. marshisboss says:

i was trying to make my cuts already and try to think where we will keep the bulk of the players but it is really hard

  20. strandoftds says:

Gable is also a great kickoff returner.

  21. S.D.Bronco30 says:

Bummer about Fannin, I was excited about him!

  22. 1nOnlyTRB says:

I think we have a pretty good set of RBs still. McGahee who is about as sturday as they come. Moreno who is questionable in the durability department. Jerimiah Johnson seems to be emerging and he got skills. Ball is the worst of the lot, no hands, average runner. And White who I get is still injured. I dunno about getting Snelling. Might cost to much for a guy who won’t start. If he is not going to start, why would he leave his back up role on a better team? I think ATL wont let go of Snelling easily. His running style is too similar to turner and if turner goes down they may need him. TRB

  23. BroncoBoyEst199 says:

    07 Elway….your raw

  24. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Sad about Fannin. Speed and size. Breaking big runs every practice. I hope we can get him back in some capacity. I don’t think the injury is THAT serious but serious enough to want to have another player get reps I think. I think this will be like the Josh Barrett situation. Watch NE pick him up lol. Best of luck to Fannin. I had been following him on Twitter. Seemed excited to be a Bronco. TRB out..

  25. baylinorcrush says:

If Snelling hasn’t signed with them obviously they don’t want him that bad, I think we need to get rolling here about Snelling and get in the bidding competition if there is any and assuming he wants to come here as I totally disagree with you about the depth of our RBs’ you basically said we have only three we can maybe count on including a rookie and a bad Ball, White is hurt , Moreno very well may end up with some sort of injury as usual, no idea what you are talking about but fine… however let’s get us some RBs, in one year alone we lost 6 of them.

  26. 07elway says:

    Say what????

  27. 1nOnlyTRB says:

im not arguing bay … I know we have had RB issues in the past. im just saying. Its not like we will carry all of them on our 53 man roster. maybe about 4. and replace as they go down. Im just saying if i was snelling i wouldn’t come all the way without gaurantees of something better than a possible 3rd stringer.

  28. BroncoBoyEst199 says:

LenDale white needs to be cut!!!

  29. BroncoBoyEst199 says:

    07 elway is a beast!!!!

  30. baylinorcrush says:

I believe it was in 2007 under Shanny, we finished the season with our 7th RB, I thought most Bronco fans would remember that.

  31. 1nOnlyTRB says:

I just said I remembered. but did we have all 7 of them on the roster at the same time? no we didnt. We currently has like 6 at camp right now.

  32. baylinorcrush says:

With Fox we probably carry 5.

TRB, just another example why you don’t usually do too well with personnel, LOL.

  33. baylinorcrush says:

That was for the say what???? blogger, not you.

  34. 1nOnlyTRB says:

I think the 7 rb season was 1 in a million but if snelling is one of the 5. im cool with it. I just think its unlikely. but whenever i think something is unlikely when it comes to personel, it usually happens and i end up wrong. so if u really want snelling. keep hoping that i dont want him and i bet he appears lol. TRB out…

  35. 1nOnlyTRB says:

oh ok bay. i figured ashley was saying what cuz she was called raw lol … cool.

  36. 07elway says:

lol @ BroncoBoy. Never thought I’d be called a beast. Way too funny.

  37. baylinorcrush says:

I see now, well time to watch Sharpe.

Just say you don’t want Snelling if your life depended on it and we’ll get him, haha.

  38. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Lol. Just watched Fox interview. Said they gave Tim the toughest challenge of 2nd team O vs 1st team D. A lil slanted but I kinda feel like maybe they did that to challenge him more. I think everything so far has been about challenging Tim and while he might not start, I don’t think Tim “is not in the future” like was once said by Lombardi I believe.

He also said Fannin thing would be announced Tommorow, guess he didn’t see this blog coming lol.

Yea, I REALLY don’t want Snellings. Don’t think we can get him. And don’t want him here!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets see what happens Bay. lol. TRB out…

  39. 1nOnlyTRB says:

“Several running backs who were not rated higher than Snelling have received new deals. Snelling has an offer from the Falcons, but has not accepted it. He has had dealings with the Rams, Giants and Chiefs.”

Sounds like he is waiting for the right offer. And we haven’t gotten in there yet. Either that or he is waiting for the right amount of dollar signs.

Someone call the president, THE Shannon Sharpe is officially in the Hall of Fame! ow, ow ;)

One heck of a speech.. congrats 84!!! Another proud day in Broncos Country!

  41. Broncobet says:

Yeah Shannon!! Wow bummer on Fanin this better not be like before when it seemed one after the other got hurt. personally I’m going to try not holding it against McBean,it is a violent sport but he really needs to work to stay on the 53.Go Broncos!

  42. Atwater4HOF says:

    Amazing speech by Shannon. Congratulations!!

Like 07 said, a proud day in Broncos Country for sure

  43. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Nothing but respect for shannon. congratulations are definitely in order.

  44. Atwater4HOF says:

Talk about a driven player… unbelievable. Love his bond with Sterling and his Granny

  45. 07elway says:

So true, Atwater. Nice to see he is still loyal to those who got him to where he is today.

  46. baylinorcrush says:

Loved the Elway anecdote when in their first game together, Elway kept telling Shannon all his assignements right before each play, mainly block the ends, haha, and at the end of the game Elway walked over to Shannon and said, we are going to have to learn the plays! Precious moment that was.

BTW, Elway looks just like a president after his first year in office, five years older, no doubt this has been as hard a job or harder than he ever imagined.

  47. imready says:

Fans at Invesco boo’ d Tebow. That’s what happens when people have unreaslitic expectations that someone can’t possibly live up to; that big “S” they stamped on his chest. He didn’t deserve that thrashing from the fans..
No way we sign Snelling as much as some of us might like it. He may possibly win a superbowl with the Falcons, why would he come here to be a backup? We’ve got our two headed pony with KM & WM. Wish they had done something else with Fannin, sounds like he is talented and would have made the team if he didn’t get hurt.
Fox is charged up about Miller and Doom. Make no doubt about it, Miller will get as much special attention needed to get up to NFL speed. We are going to presser the passer this year! You’re going down Rivers!
Hope the rest of the defense can get up to speed quickly with this years new scheme. I think it will be critical to be able to stop the run especially in the first few games. Can’t have our competitors thinking they can gash us up the middle like last season. It was like a cancer last season, teams were licking the chops, this year we sock’em in the chops.
Shannon Sharpe, congratulations! No player every worked harder for all the right reasons to be in the HOF. Loved watching him play!

  48. 07elway says:

That’s just plain sad that our own fans were booing someone who hasn’t even been given a fair chance to start. All I can say is I’m glad Tebow is the kind of guy who is fueled by that kind of fire. He thrives off of the negative feedback, the naysayers. It drives him to be fight harder & get better. More power to him. I have no doubt he WILL get his time sooner or later… my money is on sometime this season. It’s inevitable that Orton will get sloppy and Tebow WILL be the guy we go to.

The fans need to have more respect for the players, not just Tebow. You don’t boo your team at a practice like that. Give the guy a break.

  49. Atwater4HOF says:

Robert Ayers posted on twitter earlier that he was unhappy with our fans booing Kyle Orton as well. Basically saying that it is unjustified and that our fans should support the team as a whole.

Interesting perspective and I tend to agree

  50. baylinorcrush says:

That’s all I heard from Lindsay Jones, fans booing Orton when he slid feet first on third down before the end zone which brought in the FG unit, can’t find a thing about Tebow being booed.
