Bengals Take 20-17 Lead

November 4th, 2012 - 2:24pm by Tyler Everett

Taking over in Broncos territory at the Denver 27-yard line after the second interception of the afternoon by cornerback Terence Newman, the Bengals needed just four plays to get into the end zone and take a 20-17 lead with 14:10 to play.

Most of the Bengals’ yardage on the drive came on a 19-yard completion from quarterback Andy Dalton to wide receiver A.J. Green, which put Cincinnati on the Denver’s 2-yard line. From there, the Bengals followed an incompletion with a 2-yard touchdown run by running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
