Bengals Even Score at 3-3

November 4th, 2012 - 12:43pm by Tyler Everett

Cincinnati has tied the game with 14:12 remaining before halftime on a 10-play, 57-yard drive that took 4:23 off the clock.

The Bengals started the drive with a 37-yard completion down the sideline from quarterback Andy Dalton to wide receiver A.J. Green, putting on the ball on the Broncos 30-yard line.

Cincinnati then picked up 17 yards by handing the ball off on four of the next six plays.

With first-and-goal from the 8-yard line, cornerback Chris Harris tackled wide receiver Andrew Hawkins for a 2-yard loss on an end-around. On second down, defensive tackle Justin Bannan leapt up and knocked down Dalton’s pass. The drive came down to a third-and-goal from the 10-yard line, and Dalton was sacked by linebacker Danny Trevathan on the first sack of Trevathan’s career.

That brought on Bengals kicker Mike Nugent, who was good from 28 yards out to tie the score.
