Cincinnati has now scored 10 unanswered after a 49-yard field goal by kicker Mike Nugent. The drive covered 49 yards in nine plays.
The Bengals’ biggest play of the drive was a 34-yard completion from quarterback Andy Dalton to wide receiver Mohamed Sanu.
Linebacker Von Miller nearly sacked Cincinnati out of field goal range by dropping Dalton seven yards in the backfield on third down, but the Bengals were still able to convert the long field goal and trim the deficit to four points.
The sack was Miller’s third of the game, the first three-sack performance of his career and the first such effort by a Bronco since Mario Haggan accomplished the feat on November 14, 2010.
