Barrett will be a great player, and I think now there's depth in DBs.

Pratter needs consistency. If he says his leg got tired, well, lets hope it's that way and he knows the cure now. I like him, but hopefully the offense won't need him too much for FG, and a lot just for extra points.

Go Broncooos!

We're 2 hours ahead so wont see it till 10:30pm which sucks they use to have on about an hour earlier but TV money and all that greed BS pushed it out, I did hear that they may look at putting back to the 7:30pm (local) time slot which would suit me better.

The back line is monterous, the forward pack will run riot!!!

I saw a post where Fitler and good old Billy Moore posted who they thought should be the starting line up for both teams. Billy listed his QLD team and under his team for NSW he wrote "Who cares?" hahahaha I thought that was hilarious!!!

Jamesontf : I would imagine a kicker's leg can get tired the same way a pitcher's arm in baseball gets tired. You can be in shape and still reach a point you need to back off. I see your point with the skinng thing though. Sure you need to be and stay in shape but if his leg is strong enough to hit a 60 yarder I would think that he is in shape. That is just how I see it. Those baseball teams would not have relief pitchers if they just needed to get in shape to make it through the game. I would think they are already in shape and because of repetition their arm gets sore and tired. If Prater kicks to much in practice and pregame then he might go into the game with a leg that is sore and tired.

I hope Barrett stays on the team, and i wanna see some of those 60 plus yarders Prater was kicking last year in practice! As much as i love Barrett at safety, it would be awesome to see a player with his speed and strength playing anywhere at linebacker...just a thought.

Im glad the team is sticking with Prater, you can teach accuracy and consistency, you cant teach distance.. he'll come around, or at least i have confidence in him.

And the answer Jamesontf- it seems weird but in highschool i played QB, K, and did Kickoffs.. and your leg does get really tired if you kick too much, im no NFL athlete but i can understand it, after half the season i had to limit myself to about a dozen FG's and half a dozen kickoffs in the week of practice before games

Interesting what they are saying about the new Long Snapper, Paxton. Everyone said that they were crazy to pay him so much but what "should" you pay for that type of consistancy?

His leg gets tired? If his leg gets tired he shouldn't kick less he should get in shape. No i am not a kicker but I ski a lot and if i got tired skiing i need to run and build my strength and endurance. I know skiing isn't kicking a football it takes much more strenght and endurance. Sorry I shouldn't rip on Prater he is a good kicker. But really how do you get tired kicking a ball. Linemen have an excuse of getting tired not kickers.

You guys are making no sense. Did you ever compare MJ to Shaq, or Kobe to Shaq. You cant compare dwight howard to other fowards or guards. Thats like comparing skill position players to line men, it doesnt translate. Howards impact is whats important, not really his skill or talent. If he can alter shots and get rebounds and get about 10 points a game, the magic are tuff to beat. Where in the other hand, kobe, Dwade(my favorite player), and lebron can each put up 40point games and still loose the game.

On a broncos note......

Im happy to see Barret on the team, I thought he got cut last year, I hope this year he can start to make an impact
