Originally signed by St. Louis as a college free agent in 2008, Ball made the Rams’ practice squad out of training camp before moving on to Indianapolis where he made his way up to the Colts’ active roster for the regular-season finale. He spent the 2009 season on practice squads with Tennessee and Denver before becoming a regular on the Broncos’ active roster from 2010-12.
He finished his collegiate career at the University of Maryland ranked fourth in school history in rushing yards (2,487) and tied for fourth in rushing touchdowns (26).
Punter Britton Colquitt and tackle Chris Clark are the remaining Broncos that have yet to sign their restricted free-agent tenders.
