Bronco update on my granddaughter, now she can say:

    Go Bocabo!!

Not quite Broncos yet, but definitely progress since all she’s had until now is GO!!!!

  2. DenverOranges says:

Congrats Bay how old is she

  3. baylinorcrush says:

19 months, I was just trying to teach her that this morning as usual out on the back porch, and that’s what she came up with and she had this huge smile on her face.

  4. stevecan2 says:

lol about keeping Tony Romo off this site. I don’t care if that was Jamarcus Russell. You re enter a game knowing you have broken ribs, you get a nod from me. Wearing a different jersey can’t make me ignore how big of cahones you have to have to want it that bad in Week 2. And yes it was the 49ers, and as you know the Cowboys and 49ers are a rivalry, those mean something to some players lol.

  5. stevecan2 says:

    * que the Jamarcus Russell comment due to his lack of heart, and have been a filthy Raider.

  6. royalbroncofan1 says:

Wow – 19 mos already! Sounds like she’s going to be a future Broncos fan. Way go bay!

  7. stevecan2 says:

I know 4 years is quite a bit more than 19 months but it reminded me of hearing stories about how when he was 4 my brother would cry every time the Broncos lost a game.

  8. DenverOranges says:

Bay thats the best age man 1 to 3 after that they get mouths on um lol

  9. royalbroncofan1 says:

The two holding penalties on #78…. very unClady like.

  10. DenverOranges says:

it seems like the rookie is doing that alot as well

  11. baylinorcrush says:

Will definitely be a Bronco fan NFL wise and a Sooner fan college wise since that’s where her mother went and she is die hard about them.

  12. DenverOranges says:

I’m still hung over from Vegas that place is wild man I got a 110 oz Margarita the thing is so big it came with a shoulder strap 3 bucks a shot if you want Extra so I just drank beer with it lol big mistake I can’t imagine what people were thinking when I carried that cup on the plane.

  13. baylinorcrush says:

110 ozs?!?!?! Lmao at shoulder straps, I though my 64 oz growler was HUGE!

  14. shaztah says:

Hey Bay, has anyone made the wall of shame every week? LOL, I will probably be the first to do it for 15 weeks straight. Sorry but I think Tennessee 21 and Bronco’s 17.

  15. DenverOranges says:

I will put up a link for the picture in a bit its crazy big man it looks like a bong with a huge fish bowl at the bottom

  16. stevecan2 says:

My favorite is the Voodoo from Labouys on Fremont. $16 and will get you knock down drunk with an extra shot of Everclear for $2 more.

  17. Elways_Ghost says:

Like you gotta worry bout getting knock down drunk on Fremont anyways.
Had mine there a time or two.

  18. stevecan2 says:

  19. DenverOranges says:

  20. stevecan2 says:

Yeah, I have seen a few of those, that is wild.

  21. stevecan2 says:

On Fremont they have a zip line now. It’s so popular that they are going to extend it.

  22. stevecan2 says:

someone on FB asked why would you post about Orton and Tebow on a blog about Rahim Moore. You can tell that person hasn’t been here before…. Go TEBOW

  23. DenverOranges says:

yeah i saw that the line was wat to long but it looked like fun Fremont is the place to be if you wanna Party and a 3 pack of 24 oz coors was only 6 bucks at the corner store lol good times

  24. stevecan2 says:

They put a lot of money into downtown, that and snubbing a U.S. President for making negative remarks about our city is about all I liked about our former Mayor Oscar Goodman

  25. stevecan2 says:

now we have his wife as mayor. smh

  26. baylinorcrush says:

Yeah, at least one blogger per week makes it on the Wall of Shame, and if there is a tie in their off the mark predictions, multiple can get in, like the first week 4 guys got on it, a record. So 5 of them so far. Key thing is learning your lesson so you don’t get multiple entries because then you end up being the Wall of Shame leader at the end of the season, obviously a dubious honor, haha. ddk002 was just that last season with two entries into the WOS resulting in minus 10 points and zero positive points earned, that is bottom of the barrel stuff right there. since1972 also had 2 WOS entries but managed to earn 6 points otherwise so he finished second to last. Other bloggers on the WOS last year, with one entry each, were sndvl, stevecan2, olap2009, bronco-blaze, dontdewittit, OC, yovi21, The Dane, broncos504, samurai713 and the weatherman, so plenty of room there, LOL.

  27. millertime2 says:

I wanted to take a minute and apologize to my fellow bronco fans, about my blog last night especially you Bay. I really enjoy coming on here and chatting with all of you on a daily basesis, you are a very knowledgeable person bay thats why I ask you the questions. I was really haveing a bad night, maybe it was because mcdush was on tv, So I hope that all of you will except my apology.

  28. baylinorcrush says:

That’s why I tell you guys to be careful with foul language so you don’t get banned, this is what happened on that moderated post above, one blogger I listed is on the moderated list, and I haven’t seen a couple of those blogging this year so this is what happens…

  29. stevecan2 says:

    ? I am banned

  30. pokoya says:

A broken rib and a collapsed lung…and for what…a win in week two? Don’t ask me to be impressed, please. And just what is your backup quarterback for, may I ask? You let a man play with that kind of injury, it’s pretty well saying what kind of team you have — desperate, and capable of ill decisions.

  31. stevecan2 says:

    nevermind.

  32. baylinorcrush says:

It’s fine with me, takes a big man to apologize, but please don’t crap on me like that again because it will become tough to even take your game predictions, haha.

  33. stevecan2 says:

A win in week 2 against a rival. A win in week 2 when your heart has been questioned. He had something to prove. He proved it to me, no matter what jersey. I guess some can’t see through the jersey and realize we are talking about people.

  34. baylinorcrush says:

Not you Steve, the ones who haven’t blog this year are like blaze, dewitt, 504 and samurai, probably one of them.

  35. stevecan2 says:

People who all do something none of us can do. This is where I draw the line. Not the coaches, with the “mind” or the commentators. But the players are paid huge sums of money because not very many people can d o what they do at such a high level. It is the same no matter what profession. It is just unfortunately inflated more because it is entertainment. And in that case, we are to blame (fans, spectators, etc), no one else.

There are plenty of HS coaches that stay at the level for personal reasons and such with the ability to coach at a higher level. There are very few players who don’t progress past HS that have the talent to do so.

  36. baylinorcrush says:

Actually since1972 was not second to last even with his two WOS entries because he ended up with minus 4 points, more than most of the guys who had the single WOS entry but earned no positive points, therefore finishing with minus 5, just straightening up the record for since1972.

  37. stevecan2 says:

gotcha Bay, I checked my email as soon as I read that. I was curious due to not being able to read the new blog or my comment. Guess the link is no good or the Facebook Page jumped the gun posting the link.

  38. sndvl says:

I get it Stevecan. In an era where many players are prima donnas, injury prone and worried about stats- it’s nice to see the warrior mentality.

Byron Leftwich in college playing with a broken leg, his Oline carrying him downfield. Clay Matthews playing with a broken leg to finish last season and who can forget- TD playing with a migraine in XXXII…
Even Eddie Mac, took multiple/violent hits coming over the middle in games. I miss watching him get up, do his neck stretch and get back into that huddle.

  39. baylinorcrush says:

The moderation of my post has been cleared, they obviously found out what was going on, eveything working just fine, now if they could modearte personal attacks it would be a perfect world, LOL.

  40. sndvl says:

I was curious and somewhat surprised that I haven’t heard anything from NFL about the 4 timeouts the Bengal received in the game.
Is there any evidence and if so, why so quiet?

  41. lonewolf7 says:

I love the Bronco Country and Family. Bay, is there a rule to go with the same prediction each week or back to back, etc.? You are the man.

I’m no fan of the other jersey by no means, but I do adhere to the Lombardi saying “What it takes to be NO. 1″, and he stated such great things in it, one of which includes …”And in truth, I’ve never known a man worth his salt who in the long run, deep down in his heart, didn’t appreciate the grind, the discipline. There is something in good men that really yearns for discipline and the harsh reality of head to head combat.” My hats of to a teams leader who is willing to lay it all out there to win. Doesn’t matter to me what week it is. They probably needed to witness that in him. Go Broncos!

  42. stevecan2 says:

Who was the player of the game in the Week 2 win against the Bengals?

    Eric Decker
    65%

    Joe Mays
    7%

    Willis McGahee
    17%

    Kyle Orton
    8%

    Wesley Woodyard
    2%

    1914 Total Votes

    Thank you for voting!

  43. stevecan2 says:

I am part of the 7%. I was utterly surprised with Mays. I was going off on him while watching the game that Monday Night, so much so that my girlfriend asked me if he was the QB. hahaha silly girl, i don’t like her for her football mind thats for sure.

  44. baylinorcrush says:

lonewolf, it’s like the lottery, you can go with the same numbers every week, it just might work out for you.

Coop just put up a final post in his last blog saying what many of us have said all year about the injuries we would have this year, which was pretty much my point all along, no off season conditionning = string of injuries:

Healthy worries me a bit…Groins and Hamstrings are tough injuries that can/will linger all year. It was interesting to see Coach Fox talk about more injuries “league-wide” is what he said and we talked about that here all preseason and it’s coming true…bummer. Kind of proves how important OTA’s and also how this new CBA may effect injuries with the limited number of hitting practices built in.

  45. sndvl says:

I earned my spot after Black Sunday. That was like the worst day of my Bronco fan life!

  46. stevecan2 says:

    millertime2,

i had done that so many times, it is a wander someone hadn’t requested that I was banned. Passionate fans make passionate statements.

  47. baylinorcrush says:

    Funny:

    Woodyard 13 tackles, 2%

If DJ had 13 tackles he would of gotten 33%

Just saying. Fans!!! Bias anyone, haha.

  48. baylinorcrush says:

sndvl will never forget, his prediction on Black Sunday last year against the Raiders, Bronco win 49-7, final result Raider win 59-14.

    A classic, LOL.

  49. stevecan2 says:

this new CBA may effect injuries with the limited number of hitting practices built in.

This is where my head was spinning. I have seen both approaches. The first being all pads, all contact, too often. Lead to injuries in practice.

The second is 14 days of pads or what ludicris amount they reduced it to. Now, I know for a fact, studying sports medicine before I opted for my BA in Criminal Justice, that too little of contact over a long period of time met with a short period of time of heavy contact is a shock to your muscles. Increasing injuries more than the first approach.
