When I heard we got him as a DC was excited. Young guy that was spoken very highly of by Payton. Heck I am already hoping if he works out as our DC, he can be our next HC. After all he is young and has time to grow and learn. Only if he succeeds as a DC. He has already done the positional coaching. Only way left to move is up. I really hope what he is trying to implement sticks. I also think he is the DC we have been waiting for (minus Nolan who was pretty darn good). After all, the superbowl year, their D was the D with the most TD's. Mainly off interceptions and I believe he was the secondary coach. With a pass rush this year, I believe it is possible. Wish Allen the best. TRB out... PS: They have been saying they are close to a CBA for so long now. 1 issue left, hours of convo, and they still gonna need 10 more days? wateva. No matter how pissed off I am about this whole work stoppage (is that really a word?) ,the thought of football resuming excites me. Guess the players and owners know they got us just where they want us, by the family jewels. LOL I want to see what we got and what we are going to do and it's getting closer to being back to the NFL as usual. I hope none of us forget that these people are milking us for every penny they can get and we deserve to be treated with respect or we'll pull the plug. Seems dumb to me since I surely wouldn't pay the first pick after the limit more money than the last pick under the limit! If they limit the scale to the first 8 picks, guess what, #9 is not going to make as much as #8! Talk about semantics! The other hang-up I heard about is how to fund the retired players programs. For some reason, 50-50 between the players and owners didn't seem like a good idea to the players. Say What? Give up some of the money now, guys, for you too, one day, will be retired!!
