ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – The Broncos faithful will get their first taste of NFL stadium action for the 2010 season at 6 p.m. on August 7. INVESCO Field at Mile High turns into a practice field for the night, hosting a free training camp session open to the public.
Last year the swath of 13,402 fans who attended the event made it the most highly attended practice in franchise history, so fans are encouraged to head over to the stadium early to avoid the delays from the large crowds.
Holding a practice in the stadium allows to team run the gamut of scenarios that might come up in an NFL contest.
“The stadium practice will be a great opportunity for the team and coaches to get re-acclimated with our stadium,” Head Coach Josh McDaniels said. “We’ll get a chance to run through all of the elements of a live game experience, including sideline communication and the setup of the coaches’ booth.”
A chance to perform in front of a live audience can also add an electric element to the practice.
“It … provides us the opportunity to have an energetic practice in front of our great fans, which always excites the players and the staff in training camp,” McDaniels said.
The team will compete in full-gear and line up head-to-head in several “live” periods, allowing the smack of shoulder pads and face masks to ring out in downtown Denver.
Admission and available parking in the lots adjacent to the stadium are free to the public. Entry to the stadium will be through Gate 4 and Gate 10 starting at 5 p.m. for the practice that will run from 6-8 p.m. Fan seating is general admission, and fans will be directed to available seating sections once they arrive.
After the practice, former Bronco Floyd Little’s induction speech for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2010 will be shown to fans on ThunderVision on the main scoreboards.

Can one of my Bronco Bros give an update on which rooks have been signed and what there deals werer for and who we have left? and if they heared any news or grubblings about any could-be signings? Thanks
I’m sure glad the “DOOM” has been treated right. It goes to show that the people in charge have this organization headed in the right direction.
Go Broncos!!!
Well now I really cant wait for some football. We just signed in my not so humble opinion the best linebacker in the league on more than just the play skills level. Doom is a class act like very few before him.
SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL
I wish I could be there. Leaving on the 5th. And I cant take the extended vacation. Still gonna try to make it out to Dove Valley tho. Anybody been and if so advice on how to get there and parking, etc. etc
weareamr- I believe the only unsigned are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounders. With the exception of JD Walton! ?As far as terms, idk, but Im sure there is info on the website!
Wish I could be there as well but im on the other side of the country.
88, Doom being the best LB is nice to say but in reality. He isnt. Best Sack Machine yes. But overall LB, nope. He needs some more Al wilson in him. Vocal, all over the field, coverage and sure tackler. But at what he does (sacking) no one does it better.
Kudos to Doom for sticking it out. Denver aint make it easy for a player to trust and wait it out but he did. Altho for all the people that wanted more money within our team and outside our team, every situation is different. Some might have been basically told flat out you aint worth more than u are getting now which leads them to act silly, holdout, or want a trade. They will fight if theres still hope but if there isnt u see the ignorance come out.
Point is, all negotiations are different, and I am glad this one went the right way. Compromise. Hopefully we give Champ a reason to wanna resign with us. TRB out.
I love this team!!! And moves like this are brilliant for all kinds of reasons. This really is one of the very best NFL teams. Thank you Pat Bowlin and all of those who make the Broncos what they are.
I heard Olsen got resigned. anyone have a link to that?
I live in montana but I’m gunna try my hardest to get there!
I’m definitely driving down from Wyoming for this one!
CoachCasey, Pat Bowlen is our owner, not Pat Bowlin.
It only 6 1/2 hrs away from me…I will do my best to make it! BRONCOS 4 LIFE!!!!
I REALLY WISH THIS WAS POSTED EARLIER THAN IT WAS AND ALSO WISH IT WAS POSTED ON THE EVENTS CALENDAR SO ARRANGEMENTS COULD’VE BEEN MADE SOONER!!!
I will prolly be there, if plans go accordingly. thanks Broncos for this kind of involvement with us fans! what i want to know is, when will they have autograph signings?
