San Francisco scored a touchdown on the opening drive of the second half to pull within seven points.

Fullback Anthony Dixon reached the end zone with a 26-yard run. The drive was aided by a 31-yard defensive pass interference penalty called on Broncos cornerback Omar Bolden.

With the Broncos ahead 24-17, rookie quarterback Brock Osweiler is now in at quarterback.
