2013 Schedule Closer to Completion

December 4th, 2012 - 10:25am by Stuart Zaas

With the Broncos clinching the AFC West and the Patriots doing the same in the AFC East on Sunday, another opponent on Denver’s 2013 schedule is set.

The Broncos will travel to New England once again next season to play the Patriots since both teams finished atop their divisions in 2012. It will mark the third straight year that the two teams have met in the regular season and the fifth regular-season meeting in the past six seasons.

Denver’s 2013 schedule includes games against the other three teams in the AFC West, all four teams in the AFC South, all four teams in the NFC East, a home game versus the still-undecided winner of the AFC North and a road game at the AFC East champion, which has now been determined to be the Patriots.

Schedule is set up for some pretty good games next year can’t wait to see how far we can go

There’s a pretty darn good chance that we will play the Cowboys on Thanksgiving day. Theres a 1-8 chance that it happens since Dallas plays at home on the holiday. I hope it happens that way. HaHa!!

They way the schedule looks for next year, the Broncos can easily go 15-1 or 14- 2. They will most like win 8-0 at home in 2013. My guess is 13-3 for next season. those are some tough road games in Indianapolis, N.Y., and N.E. We
ll have two MNF games at home I bet. Just guessing of course, wishful thinking that is. LOL

I forgot Houston away. That’ll be a great game in Houston.

The NFC north home game is either Baltimore 9 wins so far, or Pittsburgh and Cinci both with 7 wins as of now. Interesting!

    Brutal road schedule!!!

Good thing about it though is two games basically in my backyard, awesome, it’s been a while.

Nice.. Indy is driving distance for me and my brother lives in Houston. So I’ll probably make 4-5 games minimum next year

I would not be surprised if the NFL decides to make the NBC nightcap of the Thanksgiving triple-header (11/28/2013) a family affair with the Manning brothers at MetLife Stadium, just life the Harbaugh brothers game (SF-BAL) last year (2011), though the Broncos hosted the Giants on Thanksgiving when the two teams last met in 2009. (It would mean that the Broncos would have to travel more than one time zone for a Thursday game, something the NFL wanted to avoid for this current 2012 season.) If that happens, then, by the process of elimination, the Raiders will be the Cowboys’ only possible opponent for Thanksgiving. (The Cowboys and Lions alternate every year between hosting an AFC and an NFC opponent, and the Cowboys will be hosting an interconference game for the 2013 Thanksgiving Classic.) Either way, it is VERY LIKELY that the Broncos will be playing on Turkey Day in 2013.

  12. Broncos and Dallas finally get to play! Yeeeesssss!!!!

I’m the biggest Broncos fan here in TX since the early 80s. I’m so grateful they are playing in Houston and Dallas in 2013. I currently live in San Antonio and I am so anxious for next season already. In preseason last year I was fortunate enough to see Denver play in Dallas. I’m gonna save my money and plan on attending both games here in TX. Thanx so much for the article!!!!

Yeah it is funny how all New Englands toughest teams are ALWAYS home games? Guess that ref advantage, I mean home field advantage helps that mediocre team win more.

  16. bigdog1002 says:

I hate to say it, but that team is FAR from mediocre
