Looks like some folks have forgotten what their BBBPs were so I’m going to list all of them in 3 sections over the next few days. If I missed a BBBP, please let me know.

  2. horsepower1 says:

    Hey Bronco Country!!!!!

Strand – I’m here in Durango and have three fires going all around me….i’m surrounded. I feel your pain brother.

Sounds like Siliga could be a force on the D line. This just gives Dume and Von more to work with. Wow!!

  3. sndvl says:

Denver Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady will go from blocking for one of the NFL’s most polarizing quarterbacks to protecting a future Hall of Famer’s blind side.

Clady is on the front line of the Broncos’ swap of the Tim Tebow run-heavy offense for Peyton Manning ‘s pass-oriented attack.

“It’s kind of going back to what we did before, for the most part, before Tebow was the quarterback, just more conventional offense,” Clady said Saturday at New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas’ youth football camp in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

“It’s a little different,” added Clady, a fifth-year pro who was the Broncos’ first-round draft pick (No. 12 overall) in 2008. “We will probably pass the ball a little more and (be) more of a balanced offense. But I’m excited to see what is going to happen, and I’m excited for the future.”

Clady said Manning’s attention to detail gives the Broncos an edge in duplicating their AFC West championship performance of 2011.

“Knowing everything, knowing what everyone is doing on the field,” Clady said about Manning. “He’s definitely going to make our offense better, for sure.”

Clady has a preference between last season’s offensive scheme and this season’s, but he said all that matters is victories.

“I like what we are doing now,” he said. “I’m all for us winning, so whatever it takes.”

sndvl’s post reminded me of a question I had:
I’ve been hearing from quite a few different places that Walton is basically the worst starting center in the NFL. My question is, what makes him so bad? I was under the impression that he played well as a rookie, and it’s hard to find many stats for linemen other than sacks allowed and penalties.

  5. FTR says:

    OSS:
The old BBBP is a hit my man. So do we have untill training camp to make our BBBP? The Blog is kind of dead now but when some return you will be busy keeping track. So whats the dead line so your not buried in posts before TC?
KUDO’s to you for running the show!
    FTR

  6. horsepower1 says:

New Horsepower fueling Broncos…well you have to like that!! Lol

    OSS:
Im new to the blog so thanks for bringing me up to speed on the BBBp’s. We can only pick two when i think there will be two D lineman with over 10 sacks each, so I’m going to pick one of them and a running back going over 1000 yards for the season.
    1. Von Miller over 10 sacks
    2. Willis McGahee over 1000 yards for the season.

  7. killerkod says:

    Good Morning Broncos Country!

Won’t be around today. Just wanted to check in and say hello to my Broncos brothers and sisters.

Horsepower……….the BBBP is for bold predictions! I think yours are pretty safe bets! Hahaha just razzin!

    Talk soon!

    Go Broncos!

  8. 1nOnlyTRB says:

A month away to the day. Should be fun.

Maniac, can’t tell you what it is but it is well known Walton is the weakest link in our oline. Not sure if he is the worst center. But they weren’t only considering saturday for his manning connections. Also most scouts said we needed a center. My choice was Phillip Blake and Im glad we got him. We are aware we need one. Just not enough to draft one in the first round. plus blake is versatile. Walton is only in his 3rd year or so, he still has time to improve. Our Oline has also lacked consistency. First was the mad McDaniel power blocking that sucked, then Magazus scheme, then a option heavy blocking scheme, and now back to traditional dropback pass and less running. Maybe he we excell at this better. Not the best run blocker and pass blocking was said to be hard for Tebow. Manning should supposedly make our whole oline look alot better. Im more worried about Orlando Franklin. Kid did good but since day one he was drafted for his run blocking not his pass blocking. Im sure he is improving tho. Good thing Clady got mannings blindside. Anyway,

    Later days, TRB out…

  9. alaskanbronco06 says:

Speaking of Olines I wouldnt mind seeing Harris take RT and Franklin kicked into G Blake take over at C. At least while Kuper is recovering. Maybe even longer.

  10. OrangeTsunami says:

What’s up fellas. I for one think we’re pretty good at OL. I agree there might be a bit of shuffling around, but overall I feel good about the guys we have, and all on the young side. Blake was a great pick and I just hope Kuper can come back 100%, but I don’t think we should rush him back.

Glad to read about Luke Richesson, As I think something like that was WAY overdue. Sports science is an ever changing field, and we were very dated in that area prior to this hiring IMO.

  11. Anonymous says:

For those who follow basketball Rockets made a trade to get another mid 1st and are moving in on Dwight Howard. No one really expected the Rockets to get this close to getting him till about three weeks ago. Going to be interesting lol.

Lack of football news…..Although Kamerion Wimbly was on the NBC TV show American Ninja warrior (or something like that) and got past the first round. Said the course was harder than anything hes done before even harder than trying to tackle Tebow lol.

Prater Os and Hillman need to be signed.

  12. alaskanbronco06 says:

I really dont know why that posted anonymous….But that was from me (obviously) folks lol

  13. horsepower1 says:

    Goodmorning Bronco Country!!
Thanks Killerkod! I was thinking those picks were money. Hmmm… let me chew on that a little and see if i can come up with something a little more bold.

  14. strandoftds82 says:

Its crazy stuff Horsepower1. The fire here is at 5 percent contain as of late yesterday afternoon.

  15. wolfedom says:

Glad to see you back AB. Hope you’re doing better.

  16. alaskanbronco06 says:

Thanks Wolfedom and everyone yesterday. Its good to be back and out of the hospital. Now if only the blog would pick up some…But not expecting it to till training camp.

  17. OrangeTsunami says:

Glad you’re dong better AB, being sick is never fun..

Anyone see that post about Siliga the other day? I am so excited to see that kid in camp!

  18. strandoftds82 says:

I didn`t see it OT. By your excitement, it sounds like a great thing. I`ll keep an eye out then too.

  19. horsepower1 says:

OT: I cant wait to see our D line in action this year. I believe we will be putting serious pressure on the quarterback and running game. Everyone is concerned about our linebackers but whatever Trevathan can’t wrap up, Mays will lay out. Only question may be linebackers not able to defend pass. I see alot of interceptions this year because of the pressure up front.

Strand: We had another fire brake out here around Durango, that makes 4….ughh

  20. OrangeTsunami says:

Strand – below is the link, check it out. I love how he has power lifting in his background – we need that Samoan brute strength up front!!!

    http://www.denverbroncos.com/news-and-blogs/article-1/Strength-Size-Help-Siliga-Stand-Out/76ae6244-443c-49f1-92e0-a5765cc2793c

  21. alaskanbronco06 says:

When in the hospital saw something on ESPN about Denver. Talking DLine. Vickerson at his new size is very impressive. Siliga is the needle in the haystack. Garland is showing his AF discipline during practices. Warren looks like he did two years ago. Bannan looks fresh. Malik Jackson is showing his versatility. Ayers is looking better pass rushing. Doom is looking like NFL sack leader Doom. Wolfe is a bit lost but is finding his way.

All was based off what was seen at camp. Very great things to hear about the Dline

  22. OrangeTsunami says:

I realize it’s early, but the DL is really is shaping up to be a versitile group, with a great blend of youth and verteran leadership. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the DL has the potential to be one of our real strengths this season IMO.

  23. horsepower1 says:

I think it will be a strength to OT… with that said the DB’s might be having alot of fun this year. The way things are looking with attitude of the team right now we could be having more fun and excitement then we did last year. Last year was a OMG i cant believe we pulled that out of our A** excitement. Where this year will be a prop the feet up and enjoy the show excitement…LMAO

  24. Royalbroncofan1 says:

JD Waltons’ struggles were not that apparent to me last year, with the exception of the Patriots playoff game, where he was getting blown off the line of scrimmage. Don’t know if that was attributed to McDaniels familiarity with snap count as some had mentioned. There may have been a few other games where he struggled.
His alumni Baylor, being a spread team, typically used the veer blocking scheme, which is the spread offense’s read-based adaptation of the old Power-O.

Ryan Clady will need to be back to full speed. He picked up quite a few holding penalties last year, but that could also be attributed to TT holding on to the ball for way too long. One thing refreshing re: Manning is he gets rid of the ball so quickly. Kuper should be ready for training camp according to DP. Ramirez & Blake should do well in filling in and or maybe win a starting position.. camp & preseason will sort that out.

Coach Magazu will line up the best linemen this year to protect #1 asset, PM.

Had a feeling TRB might come out of the woodworks to address Waltons shortcomings… lol.
Good to see you on here TRB!

At any rate, glad to see there will be some great competition for the starting O-line this year!

  25. Royalbroncofan1 says:

One things for sure — Elvis was impressed with Sealver Siliga!

  26. horsepower1 says:

I’m curious to see how the O line is going to shake out. Would like to see Kuper come back strong but have a feeling it may take till the middle of the season for him to be full strength. Clady will have PM blind side for sure he will not want that attention. The rest will be interesting to see what falls into place.

    Horsepower idling down…later

  27. oldsouthstander says:

    BBBP “Rules”:
    1) Each BBBP must be about a specific player. He doesan’t have to currently be on the Bronco squad, but any prediction must be abouta players accomplishments as a Bronco.

Those who got in early may have m,ore than 4 becasue the BBBP was started with 2 BBBPs before the draft.
I’ll be posting the first 20 of 62 BBBPs I have today. If you’ve made a BBBP and it’s npot listed after all three secxtions of the current known BBBPs are poasted, let me know and I’ll make the necessary corrections.

  28. alaskanbronco06 says:

    Horsepowewr1: Got your BBBPs
AB: Yes: PM 45TDs, <10 Int, 4200+ yards and Champ 10 Ints

  31. alaskanbronco06 says:

Thanks OSS I thought they dealt with Manning and Bailey but wasnt sure the actual thing was. Thanks.

  32. OrangeTsunami says:

Thx south, I knew I made a few but I actually forgot what mine were. Kind of funny how both of mine were related to our WR’s. Also pretty funny how I horse collared Willis and threw him under the bus… Lol. Nothing personally really, I’m just not that impressed by him, and if he doesn’t make the team, that means we’re better off IMO, as one of our other young bucks would have beat him out. I’m hoping that guy is Mark Dell :D

  33. CarolinaBronco7 says:

I agree that Franklin should take Zane spot at gaurd, and move Ryan Harris to right tackle, but people tell me that franklin is too tall to play gaurd.

  34. sndvl says:

Thanks for the sndlv (that must mean sand love) OSS!!!

Here is my 2nd BBBP. Manning will start the first 15 games for the Denver Broncos in 2012!

    Ask me why I say the 1st 15!!! ;)

  35. sndvl says:

Correction- 1st 15 REGULAR SEASON games!

  36. Orange_Crusher says:

I predict that The Neck will start games 1 through 19 and win the Super Bowl THIS YEAR WITH THE DENVER BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!
Nobody can top that BBBP!!!!!!! HA!

    ILMSDB!!!!!

  37. FTR says:

    OSS:
First off thanks for keeping track of all of our BBBP’s! Due to our under the radar upgrade in the secondary. My first BBBP is:
Champ Bailey will Start all 16 games and have 5 INT’s and will score 2 TD’S and not allow a TD on One on One coverage!
    ILMSDB!!
    FTR

  38. FTR says:

    OC
    Its all in the Neck!!
    FTR

  39. sndvl says:

I say 15, because by game 15, we will have a playoff berth wrapped up and game 16 will be a “coaches decision” to rest “key personnel”!

    Broncos Country Strong 2012!

  40. broncosfreak718 says:

Hey guys. Just got a call from strand and he informed me that he was forced to evacuate his house due to the ongoing wild fire getting very close to his home. He said that there is only one road to get to his house that is only around 3 miles long that takes less than 3 minutes to get down but he was in bumper to bumper traffic for 2.5 hours just trying to get down that road from everyone evacuating. He said when you walk outside that there is black smoke everywhere and him and his family were forced to evacuate. He is going to a friends house now and then will spend the next 4 days at another friends house. He said he might be away from the blogs for a few days due to no access to a computer but he is going to be calling me each day and updating me about his situation and I will let you know if anything changes. Please keep strand and his family in your prayers along with everyone else that is having to leave their homes due to the rampant fires.

    Thanks and God bless everyone!

  41. Royalbroncofan1 says:

Thanks for update on strand freak… my relatives in the Springs were also forced to evacuate their home today, as the Waldo Canyon fire unleashed tremendous waves of flames late Tuesday afternoon.

  42. killerkod says:

    Good Morning Broncos Country!

Such devistation these wild fires are causing……..it’s horrible. I hope everything will be okay for strand and his family. My thoughts are with ya buddy.

Thanks for posting all the BBBP’s OSS and keeping track of them all…………so I get to make two more during training camp?

  43. S.D.Bronco30 says:

    My first 2 BBBP’s

    1) Moreno is beat out by McGahee, Hillman and Fannin and does not make 53 man roster.
    2) Irving takes over at starting MLB over Mays by game 4

  44. horsepower1 says:

I was thinking about Strand last night after not seeing a blog from him since 10:00 am. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the people going through this disaster.
