The 2012 season-opening NFL Kickoff game, featuring the Super Bowl-champion New York Giants as host, will be played on Wednesday, September 5.
It’s the first NFL game played on a Wednesday since September 22, 1948, when the Rams and Lions squared off.
The game was scheduled for Wednesday to avoid a conflict with President Barack Obama’s Thursday night speech at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.
NBC will televise the game at 6:30 p.m. MST, and NFL Kickoff 2012 beginning an hour earlier.

And good for her! All it takes is a little leverage. LOL
NEW BLOG!!!!
Lol so there is ties to sundevil … did not know that at all … haha, learn something new every day. Guess thats why everyone was thinking sundevil lol.
I can almost bet my bottom dollar we dont get Mario Williams. I don’t even think he is one our radar … but a man can dream. Denver post didn’t exactly promote it either.
“The key to free agency is getting the right value on guys,” said John Elway, the Broncos’ chief of football operations. “We’ve got an idea of what each free agent should be paid. You want to make sure you don’t overpay, and that usually means staying patient.”
That means the Broncos won’t blow their free-agent budget on the likes of Mario Williams or Peyton Manning or former Widefield High School and Northern Colorado star Vincent Jackson.
Practice, practice, practice.
1st. round
1. Fletcher Cox DT
2. Doug Martin RB
3. Donta Hightower
2nd round
1. Trumaine Johnson CB/S
2. Lamichael James RB
3. Harrison Smith S
3rd round
1. Chris Rainey RB
2. Jared Crick DT
3. Jayron Hosley CB/PR
With Williams we have the ability to get him cheaper than everyone thinks. Having been hurt and recovering from his injury and having said “Money is important” is huge and in our favor. That could knock him down below 10 mill a year. Which for him is great value. VJAX wont come to Denver he has spoken so much trash against the organization.
25 on Martin is a little high i believe. Cox or Hightower would be the better option.
I like TJ but his off the field issues go against him and i dont see Denver taking that chance. James or Smith would be great. I like the 3rd round very much. All good players. Good value picks too.
Broncos interested in George Iloka … man that man looks like a freaking titan. 6’4 225.
TRB
He is mad slow tho … but not too slow for a LB … which apparently Fox like to turn Safeties into lol. TRB
Sorry Alaskan, my point was that the primary reason people express their opinion is to get people to consider their point of view. To express one as strongly as you did only to say basically, that you weren’t trying to influence anyone was what rattled me. I think everyone should have their own opinion and express it freely. That’s how we learn and evolve as a human beings, listening to others points of view. I am sorry you have had to deal with drug abuse in your family, my heat goes out to you.
They have compared Poe’s atleticism to Suh’s , his body to Nagha. Worthy is probably the safer pick but if Poe may have greater potential. The draft is deep at DT, I’d like to see us grab a couple of those guys. Should be able to pick a RB in later rounds. Not much for safties and TE’s in the draft according to Mayock. I like him and Charlie Casserly especially when it comes to draft analysis. I’ll be glad when free agency gets going so we really have an idea of needs going into the draft. Go Broncos.
Oh ok ready. I can see that. His athleticism is unmatched for his size.
and one last note about yesterday alaska when you said the drug violence is in mexico and not the u.s. thats not true. probably not where you live but living around the border on either side is very dangerous.
and someone said bowlen only wants character guys. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/767256/NFL_Arrests_Since_2006.jpg
