And its good to see ya 007Elway! Morning Royal!
Not gonna read his mile long retirement speech, I don’t have that much time on my hands LOL
Raider pal & I are still friends but of course, I constantly remind him how much I HATE his team lol He doesn’t hate the Broncos as much though, he’s actually bought me some Denver stuff when he knows I will NEVER buy anything Raiders.
That’s cool but there’s no female blogger like THE 07elway lol
They sure do! Not that you don’t 07elway because you certainly do and you’ve always shared some good info.
Morning strand or what’s left of it…lol.
LMAO! Ash, you`ve been here for eons, the Orange n Blue Broncos Queen. So kick some raiders BUTT!! LOL again!!
I’ve decided to get a tattoo of the old bronco helmets……I think it’s so classic and I can’t wait til they bring them back. I’m not a huge fan of the horse they use now. Was doing some research online of pics of broncos tattoos and while I admire their committment to our team, there’s some pretty bad looking tats out there. lol Especially that tebow/donley/horse one…..that made me laugh!
Royal, LOL! Hey, its finally March, now we need to add a 13th to it.
I wonder if we`ll tag Prater before mondays deadline?
ROFL the Orange n Blue Broncos Queen… I love it!! And don’t you all forget it LOL Maybe I should change my username to that… its genius lol Too funny
Anyway, hate to leave but have to get ready for work
I’ll check in with you guys later
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We just go with military time strand… 1300 hrs. lol.
Looks like I missed ash. I think she is the only blogger to ever appear on a blog … via picture that is … thanks to coop I believe. TRB
Those were some great photos weren’t they, with 07elway, Hillis & Stokely!
I hope we tag Prater before then. I still think a CB in round one is too high. Ive stated my views lol. We should go after Carr in FA and draft Robinson in the 3rd. After getting Cox/Hightower or trading 25. Trading up to get Martin. Taking Kendricks or Ta’amu at 57 depending on what we do with 25. Robinson. Rainey. Miller a OG with pick 1 in the 5th and Moore with the second. Then grab Coale in the 7th. Thats what i like. Speculating is fun. the 13 needs to get here to have a better idea for the draft.
Yup … both not Broncos anymore tho … funny how things change aint it RBF1 … TRB
Best thing of Stokley was that catch against the Bengals. Just an amazing play.
Alaskan a Cb in round 1 would be too high if we were actually high … at 25 … u do what you can. i would also like Carr in FA but the Broncos FA activity in recent years gives me absolutely NO faith … NONE. I do believe Safeties on the agenda tho … and Ill take solace in that. TRB
Sure does TRB…. too quick sometimes it seems, especially as I get older…lol. I wanted to say there was another player in those photos… Ryan Torain maybe? I’ll have to ask 07 at a later date.
I cant really remember the pics … wasn’t untile u mentioned Hillis and Stokely that I remembered. Torrain …. not sure … funny … another non bronco anymore lol.
TRB
That sure was a great play alaskan.. right time at the right place. He also did really when Cutler was here.
Did stoke retire last year ?
I just dont think there will be a good CB that will be available at 25. Claiborne I dont think will make it very far. Kirk i believe will go before 20. Jenkins has to many off the field issues and i dont like the risk at 25. Gilmore I just think is an overrated CB and is project in the 2nd round. As for Dennard also a second round projected CB and i believe he wont crack the 1st with Gilmore.
Hightower is actually my favorite. We cant sit on Irvin with a huge need at MLB. He can step in and him and Miller could be the core or our LBs for years. Plus we have no success with D-line in the first since Elway played. Bad D-line picks throughout the draft with one exception DOOM. Thats why i think a DT at 57 is a little better option. That fact also makes me want us to target Williams even more.
I think he did because to many concussions. I was pissed about the play cause the game was aired up here and they switched to a different game like four plays before that happened. I didnt get to see it i was furious thay switched it to a game that wasnt even close.
Has anybody been franchise tagged yet? Lol
Fells, Rosario, Green and JT…I don’t see a TE being drafted. Especially with Green and JT getting an entire off season. Only way we get a safety is if Weapon X retires…
Hope Royal stays. How can you not root for the guy.
Hopefully we hear about a signing or two before Monday. That’d be nice…
Broncos Country Strong 2012!
that game led us to a 6-0 start and prob one of the worst crashes in franchise history losing the next 8 out of 10. I was on such a high and then thrown in the gutter……..what a heart wrenching season and we all got to know the true McD. Still hurts thinking about it.
Your right Royal, it was both Hillis and Torain with Ash. I saw the picture a few days ago on Aussies blog. She can brag all she wants. LOL
**really well**
That game wasnt even the biggest one for me. It was when we beat the Patriots. I was in California. I saw only the fourth quarter. I was at my uncles funeral before. He was a huge Bronco fan. He had is urn wrapped in a Elway jersey. Im so glad they won that day….it just felt right…
Sndvl, the only thing I`v heard so far is that the Steelers placed a 1st round tag on Mike Wallace.
Strand to add onto that, they cut Ward and theyre expected to cut Farrior to make even more cap room to get Wallace to stay.
Royal, is it snowing yet in Denver? It hasn`t hit yet in the Springs.
yeah, they`ve got to make some cuts soon, the Steelers are 11 million over the cap right now.
My favorite of the 6-0 run was the Cowboys game in early October. Tough D on both sides of the ball. Cowboys took early lead. Moreno catches a ball at south end zone and dives in for 1st score. 10-7 at half.
Bailey made a great pick to stop one Cowboy drive in 3rd qtr in red zone. And then the “Beast” made a great catch over Newman and zig zags his way to get free to score with less than 3 minutes in game. Bailey knocks two down to save the win!
Ward knocks 8 mill. Thats a lot for a year for him.
The Patriots game meant a lot emotionally and because of the day will always be remembered.
Some light snow right now strand but it’s coming – 34 degrees..
Wallace is a guy that I would give a 1st for if I was in the market for a WR … take a team like the rams … if they get both Browns firsts I would trade 2nd first for Wallace. Not draft a question mark. Wallace is pretty young too.
Just telling u the options alaskan … I believe the only Cb they think is worthy of thier 25is Dre if he drops … I personally think Gilmore is very good from a size stand point and a good tackler. He also has great speed. wouldn’t say take him at 25 but he is a guy that could be taken if a trade back is initiated. Hightower some have mentioned in the realm of 2nd round as well. The only reason he may go earlier is because of Steelers and Ravens. Can’t sit forever on Nate Irving … sure but its only been 1 yr … 1 year without a offseason as a matter of fact … whcih is why i know we will not be wasting any real picks on safety, TE or MLB.
When I say they still beleive in Irving … its what ive read from DP and is considered to be gospel in the Broncos organization … which is why I almost KNOW it wont be hightower.
TRB
If its a storm you guys are getting i believe it was the one that was here a week ago. Went straight to Colorado i believe the news was saying. I dont know if is disappeared before it got there though.
To tell you the truth Ward would be an excellent slot WR for the Broncos. He`s getting up there in age, he`s patient and could groom our young WR `s and TT also. I`d draft a WR in a late round.
Alaska, we are about to get slammed, its coming.
Oh i know TRB I like Dre hes the one CB i wouldnt mind at 25. Gilmore is a good tackler but isnt really a playmaker with only 3 picks this last year and 1 sack. I like Hightower because he can step in right away. Irvin may never be like he was in college. If he isnt we cant sit on him. Theres to few good-great MLBs out there. Its a hole that was exploited last year. Mays was beyond awful. Yea its been a year sit on Irvin but like i said its a hole that needs filling.
If we trade back/trade up and are able to get a couple picks in the 2nd round plus 57 i wouldnt mind taking Gilmore. I just dont like him as a first rounder.
Well im assuming its what we had up here, we got four feet of snow…. it sucked.
I also think Ward would be a good pickup. Hes got great hands and is a good blocker. He often was used to block with the Steelers.
Also i like Kendricks in the 2nd round at LB. Hes got a lot of talent and full of potential. Could be a great LB. I think Denver would be able to bring the greatness out.
And with Kendricks come rare speed, and Fox likes speed. It a possibility. I think the Broncos draft all speed with their picks.
Thats why i could see us going for Robinson in the 3rd.
We also need a fast CB to cover TE`s like Gronk or Gates, thats actually top priority.
We’re waiting to hear sndvl… nothing as of yet.
I think Josh Robinson goes in the 2nd round, he`s a need for any team. Robinson will be snatched up real quick.
Robinson is fast who could stay with them. Hes also great in the zone. And can come up and tackle in run support.
Well if he is we could still get a good CB in round three. Like Jamell Flemming, Ron Brooks, Jayron Hosley, and Casey Hayward. All of them good CBs
After picking our 1st round pick at #25, I`d sure like to get a extra 2nd round pick but we have no bargaining power. Oh well, got to be patient I guess and let the right players fall in our lap. I don`t want to lose any picks in 2013, not a smart thing to do.
Royal, its 1300 hrs! LOL
