Repost from MHR. No0t sure if anyone posted this already but it took me an hour to read through the blogs this morning so I’ll just post it, rather then rehash everything.

“According to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, the Miami Dolphins–specifically GM Jeff Ireland–are in contract negotiations with Denver Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton…”

Sounds like we pretty much know where he’s going. Bay was right, and that’s just fine with me. All that matters is “Orton-B-Gone” haha!

Now they are the official holdouts we were talking about this morning:

At 4 p.m., the Broncos opened training camp with a full-squad team meeting. New head coach John Fox is going to tape names on the front of everyone’s helmets. At least that’s what some players said was the plan yesterday.

Not attending the team meeting were first-round pick Von Miller, fourth-round pick Julius Thomas and seventh-round pick Virgil Green. They have yet to sign their rookie contracts. In fact, the Broncos have not announced any draft pick signings so its presumed none of the Broncos’ nine draft picks are at the meetings.

Many of the drafted rookies are expected to also miss the first training camp workout tomorrow that begins at 8:50 a.m.

Officially, they are all holdouts, at least it’s funny this time around, not like when Moreno did it.

I’m kind of shocked. These players are getting record setting deals. After all the bickering back and forth….just amazes me.

So does this spending spree in D.C. Even tho it shouldn’t

  7. 3rdGeneration says:

johnelway: Draft choices Julius Thomas, Mike Mohamed and Virgil Green have been signed. Still finalizing contracts of our other picks.
