I am A big fan of Tim Tebow. After all the criticism, by the media, about how he can’t play football is probably taking its toll on him mentally. John Elway should probably help Tebow on his mechanics, just as Brett Favre did with the young quarterback Matt Flynn. Personally I think Tebow needs another year to mature as a starter in the NFL. Not a fan of Brady Quinn. He throws too many interceptions. Cleveland got rid of him for that very thing. Remember Elway did not do so good in his first couple of years either. Give the man a chance to prove himself. He can be used in red zone situations because of his dangerous ability to run the ball. Work with the man and help him be the QB he wants to be.

cant wait to see them play Saturday night hope every body play well and we get a win and i want to see Tim Tebow go off with 3 passing touchdowns and 3 running haha then he would be the starter

maybe quinn is doing well enough to pass tebow but i don’t think that’s the case. i think they are auditioning him to see if he is good enough to be TEBOW’s backup next year or maybe even possibly this year, because the plan to find the backup to our quarterback of the future(not KO)has to start with quinn since he has been here in the system and we also invested in him to bring him here

This is my first post, and I may be asking a really dumb question, but…., If Quinn is playing reasonably well, and assuming there is not trade deadline that I don’t know about, would the Broncos trade his? Does he have any value? ( Other than to MCD) ?

I am Mr trade him if u wont use him but I don’t think its the case. I believe they still want him and people are panicking to much. Quinn be throwing ints and he played more drives than than tebow and orton against the 3rd team. Takes a while to get some rythm. Tebow will do well this weekend but even if he does the hate mongers will still sling hate. They had been making it seem like Orton was so far ahead of them until game time and the distance wasn’t that far. They will downplay Tebows succes and good things and upsell rumors. Its possible quinn is ahead but I will believe it when I see it not before. Cuz I don’t like to worry for no reason.

We have an Orton / Quinn style system in place. As so many have stated, players like Tebow need a system more friendly to his play style. Maybe some foresight is being utilized by EFX and they are not going to push Tebow into a system that would actually hamstring his growth.

The sky has not fallen on Tebow. It is obvious that the media is impacting our view of the QQ. If there was little media hype about it, then what we have seen in practice would not be as pressing. It is very real to expect a Orton/ Quinn 1 and 2. Contracts expire and next year, Tebow will be full out #1 with no question. Either way, the sky has not fallen.

I am with Bay on this QB situation, i honestly dont care who starts anymore but atleast give Tebow a shot somewhere else cause it obviously looks like he wont start unless he throws 350 yards and 4 TD’s in our next game.

You are right since 86, this is where the confusion came from, this year the teams will be allowed 46 active players for each game instead of 45, that’s the change, not the roster which is still 53.
