wow clearly ive been gone for a while. Didnt know bay was in the Dareus camp. Thought he was still fairley. I am not willing to risk fairley and if we go DT which we most likely do, i am in Dareus camp as well. I was a big bowers fan but we have no need at DE. Like patrick Peterson but we need front 7 and signed back champ. As it stands in my head, Dareus is the right choice. Great DT, no character concerns, and the other options are covered on our team. So Darues for me but I would not be opposed to Peterson either. The man is a physical specimen but he is more of a want than a need. (altho we dont know whats up with cox). Love the combine. Reminds me football isnt gone quite yet.

BTW, as far as the Orton thing goes. I believe Fox as well. Its not a ploy. If the season started today...Orton is more ready plain and simple. I believe Tebow has the upside but Orton has the years of experience...And thats a gap that can only be closed with time. I believe in Tebow and a double threat is better than a single anyday. All i can say is if we draft another QB...I might not watch the broncos this year...cuz we just keep saying tommorow... for our defense... or the next one...tommorow never seems to come however. Elway understands this...thats why he got fox (not just cuz of the experience) but because he is D minded. To draft anything but D would be ridiculous. Our current D we have seen in many schemese...for some of the position is not a matter of wrong scheme...just wrong player...I dont expect some of the ones i believe need replacing (like DT) to suddenly transform into superman over night in Foxes system. yikes, typed longer than I wanted too. Enjoy the combine bronco guys and gals. Til next time. TRB out...

I already told you my take on Matthews, his stats speak for themselves. He would be best at 3-4 OLB.

Yea, I do not know about Rudolph but I've already said that I think he will suffer more from injury problems later in the NFL. I think we try to get paea in the second and then a LB and either sands or Matthews in the 3rd

Everyone should check out Dareus' press conference on the home page if you haven't already. That guy is impressive I'm telling you. He seems really poised and he seems to understand the game of football really well.

Best case scenario for Elway:

Carolina drafts Newton.

There is no season this year because a cba can't be reached.

The same draft pick order is repeated for next year.

Carolina has their franchise QB in Newton so with the #2 pick we can get Elway's alma mater Stanford QB Andrew Luck.

Hahahaha!

I'm pretty sure I just heard the announcer at the combine say Rudolph has a broken bone in his foot, but its hard to hear the announcer over the analysts. Either way, he didn't run a 40.
