I flipped in long enough to see #55 and a DT called houston I believe. They did well in the few minutes i watched

Stevecan2,

I apologize if i am the sole reason for your departure. Was not my intention. And wasnt taking what u said personally. As far as the whole wife-beater...I will reitterate in saying "I don't know, and never will". All i know, is all that is put forth. And the blackmail was an email saying (and they showed the email), "I will not accuse u of assault if u pay me half a mil". He is not a saint and I am by no means saying that. Hope u reconsider blogging here because a blog is only as good as the many different opinions being poured into it

Yeah, #55, agreed, he was a one man wrecking crew, has more intensity and drive than anyone I have seen in a while at the collegiate level, more than makes up for his short arms and it would even things out with Doom who has the longest arms of them all, LOL. Doom does it with his arms, that Graham guy did it with speed, he got around guys so fast on his way to the QB, it was quite a show, I'm not sure of his final stats but he had them all and it gave him the MVP for the game. His worth is going to take a serious shot in the arm as far as the draft is concerned, I think he now will probably go in the second half of the first round, in order to get him we need to trade someone for a first, guess you know who, to get like Seattle's 14th or anything up to mid twenties would give us a shot at him, because I don't think we can take him with the 10th or 11th, it would be too high for him and depending on who we get in FA, McClain or Dan Williams would be better picks there. Those three are the first three players I would concentrate on, McClain for ILB to stop the run, Dan Williams for a NT and Graham to use on the other side of Doom giving us the double whammo at pressuring the QB, the fourth I'd go after is Gerhart. After seeing what's out there on the O line for us in college, specially since I was so disappointed in Iaputi yesterday, I think our strategy would be to address the O line in FA, as there is so much good prospects in the draft at D line.

To resume my thoughts:
Rebuild O line, guards and center mainly in FA.
Rebuild D line mainly in the draft with mid and late picks.
If you can't get the NT in FA, get Williams for nose in the draft, Graham as DE/OLB and Gerhart for the power running game with the first three or four picks.
If you can get a NT in FA, then get Mc Clain for ILB and Graham and Gerhart.

Of course I am just wishing, one can always dream.....

baylin,

When i was watching the Senior Bowl, I get seeing this guy from Michigan all over the field. I finally figured out that it was Brandon Graham. The only thing about him is his arm length but the announcers were comparing him to Elvis Dumervil. I say lets get him. Too bad Gerhart wasnt there to see (thats because he isnt a Senior) and Lafell wasnt either.

Marshall is gone. I liked him but honestly, the commissioner is going to suspend him for a season one of these days. He's a me first guy and for that....I'm cool with him being gone as long as we get a first round pick for him.

Good Move! I think the Probowl being played before the Super Bowl is a very good idea, (dispite the missing players from the two NFL Champions) I hope it will work well for the NFL.

I second the idea of not calling a wide out a beast. Well put though in rebuttal. When first of all and second of all and so on are put into a comment, you know someone may have taken something a little too personally. Wasn't my intention but seeing as how almost everyone including myself seems to get overworked on these boards, I am just going to step away for the off season. Being polite about emotionally driven comments is a task I do not want to endure with other fans any longer. So I will do the easy thing and let the clique that has developed continue in a happy little blog world and continue on elsewhere. Lastly Theroyalbeast, charges almost never get dropped by the accuser when someone is innocent. And most blackmail occurs after a payoff. Food for thought.
