The Broncos announced on Monday that two running backs will be placed on IR. Andre Hall (left hand) and Michael Pittman (neck) were both placed on the reserve/injured list. Both players were injured during Denver’s game against Miami on Sunday.
Pittman has been the starter at running back for the past three games, and his 320 yards on 76 carries leads the team. He has also caught 10 passes for 112 yards. He has been into the endzone four times on the ground. Pittman is an 11-year pro who has seen time in all eight games this season.
Hall, who averaged 4.9 yards per carry in 2007, has rushed 35 times for 144 yards this season. He has also caught three passes for 25 yards and returned 21 kickoffs for an average of 22.3 yards per return. In his second year with the Broncos, Hall has seen time in all eight games this season.
The Broncos also signed Matthias Askew to the practice squad. Askew is a third-year defensive tackle who joins the Broncos’ practice squad after competing in the Redskins’ 2008 training camp. Selected by Cincinnati in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft, Askew has appeared in six career games — all with the Bengals — and owns six tackles along with one forced fumble.

I’m sorry but things keep getting worse. Bash me, I know I’m going to hear it but, I think we missed the playoffs this year.
Wow, very suprising news. Im taking both positives and negatives from this.
First the negatives - Pittman out. Enough said. This guy was solid for us and I really hate to see him on IR. He did great for us when he was given the oppurtunity.
Positives - Andre Hall out. Enough said. This guy is not up to the task to be a good player in the nfl. He fumbles too much and is not effective. Should’ve been cut earlier this year.
One bright spot now is that we really get to see what Ryan Torain is about. It excites me to know that he will get many carries in weeks to come.
-brian_schneider-
I won’t bash you, we’re just lucky we are in the AFC West. Hopefully we get Young back and Torain can step it up.
Hope both get better soon. Andre had a couple of bad fumbles this year i feel for you bro. Lossing Hall is alot worst than lossing Pittman. Hall is one of the hardest working blue collar players we have on the team. He takes alot of dirty jobs on the team. He does kick offs, special teams, HB lead plays ect. these are some of the most hated pos. to play and he eats it all up dont dis the hard workers on our team.
Hall aint that bad i mean ppl have been gettin on him since he fumbled twice in the pats game n call him fumble prone when i rarley see him fumble…jus cuz he fumbled 2 times that game dnt make him all bad…i mean grant fumbled twice against the seahawks in the playoffs n the packers still won…we should have came together as a team n made up for it but anyway those are some punches to the face right there…hopefully we can make some adjustments for thursday n im still pulling for barrett since mCcree may be out…Barret n Lowry is better than manuel with either of those 2
The injuries just don’t seem to stop. Pittman was our main back..well at least we have Young still here (sort of, he’s also had an injury) and Torain coming back from one. Looks like the dual will be getting a ton of action Thursday.
Wow thats suprising. We are now extremely thin at RB now. Hopefully Young gets healthy and it looks like Torain will get his reps this year. I wonder if Pope will get activated to the roster now or if were gonna sign someone else. The way we have been running the ball lately, maybe we should line up shotgun with 5 WRs every play! Lol
I´m very sad about my team. Injuries, mistakes on the field, uneffective offense, weak defense, and nowhere to go finding help… 8-8 record and win the AFC Worst is not that we think begining the season.
I will have to say our defense played great yesterday, they shut down Mia, we would have won this game if it was not for Jay Turnover Cutler,
I wish it was him on IR and not Pittman and Hall, this guy has been throwing more interceptions than he has Touchdowns, each year more and more,
Should trade his as!!!!!!!!!!! before it is to late, TRADE CULTER PLEASE.
whoa detroit Reggie….that is simply crazy crazy talk. Cutler will be good chill. Does anyone know where Mike Bell is now? Did anyone sign him? I always thought that dude could be something.
HERE COMES “THE TRAIN”. I hear it…..
The Ryan “THE TRAIN” Torain… train. It’s your time man.
I am bummed to see Pittman on IR also, Hall not so much. Like a few have said before he needs to work on holding the ball before he plays again.
Our defense finally shined a bit, some light in the dark tunnel. WOO!
Keep it up boys! Lets put D. Anderson on his butt all night on Thursday.
And Jay, just open your eyes bud. We all know you can be great. Step it up.
-Bryan
pittmans career ended guys that sad everyone thank him for his major contribution to this organization this year. That guy has heart he’ll be missed in the nfl.
r8r 8hrdude - Mike Bell tried out with the Texans, but didn’t make the Team. I believe he is not active on any Team roster. Too bad about Pittman & Hall. I’m sure that had something to do with our lowest output in 36 yrs… (15 yrds rushing team total yds vs. Dolphins). I thought both backs worked very hard to help the Team this year. I’m really sad to hear that Pittmans career has ended. I hope that he will be ok.
Now it’s down to Young & Torain. Young has not played in 3 weeks.
Changing gears here, what’s the scoop with TE Tony Scheffler?? Is he coming back or is he out for the season as well ???
anyone who says trade cutler is an Idiot. He is 4th in the Nfl in passing yards and he is young. Cutler will be an all time great. he has a lot of work to do, but will be great. As for Pittman, Hall. Pittman was a hard worker but below avg. back. Hall has potential but needs work. I think if Torain is truly healthy, and Selvin gets back for Cleavland we will see a whole new side of our offense. Slowik needs to be slapped and told you cant win a game giving a 15 yard cushion.
Detroit Reggie, I think you should start rooting for the Lions, even though they don’t have a QB like the Broncos…
Brady Quinn is starting - not Anderson.
i dont know how we can count out the playoffs when we’re on top of our division!!
looks like Torain and Young are gonna get a huge dose of carries… thats if we plan on rushing for more than 7 yards..
GO BRONCOS!!
i wonder if they are going to sign someone now? with only two active backs i cant see them not picking someone up. im not sure who is left out there though. and really hall was a great guy to have on kickoffs, not a guy that would ever take it to the house but put us past the 20 yard line each time. as much as i loved seeing royal have that awesome return im worried he could get hurt again.
B-MARS=#1 You can call me an Idiot, but the fact is this, with all the weapons Jay turnover has he should be ranked number 1 in passing yards and in TD’s,
He has the best O line in the NFL, LY he was sacked 27 times TY only 5 this means he has all day to pass but he does not pass to the open man he passes to the man that is covered you just keep watch.
bronc fan in WA - Maybe you don’t want to remember the bears/broncos game last year because of our horrible late play but Selvin and Travis were out and Andre Hall came in and put up 98 yards on I think either a sprained or broken ankle.
That guy has more heart and drive alone then our whole 2008 defense apparently does.
columbusOHbronco - I agree, when I saw them come out and pass on a first down right after Cutler had thrown two picks in his first six attempts my heart sank and I about walked out of the bar and went home. They need to stop worrying about making his stats decent and accept his bad games for what they are and do something else.
On a side note though, how in the world couldn’t miami stop the right side short pass to Hillis that we ran successfully like 10 times last night.
And for all the people hating on Cutler, this KID (He’s young and dumb, quality passing and the NFL mentality come with age) looks like a prime age Brett Favre. Give him time and he could wind up just like him. However, just like him we have to accept the fact he’s also gonna throw a lot of picks and have really bad games.
Remember Favre has both the touchdown AND interception records.
well well well here we are again people, talking about all the same stuff, like I said last week it is panic time, got to wonder if our defense will ever be good, definetly have to get rid of the coordinator, also jay Cutler has me holding my breath every time he throws a pass, this team looks horrible lately, what happened? i think we have no leader on defense and our offense is playing like high schoolers. This team accepts playing the way they have been, that is why san diego will catch us and once again we will be watching other teams in the playoffs, I am a true fan people but sometimes you just have to hear the truth……. as sad as it is
Its obvious that we have a personal problem. Its not the fault of the players but that of that coaches. Call me crazy but when we miss the playoff’s for a 3rd straight year and have a team that is obviously getting worse; its a safe bet that this could be shanahan’s last year in Denver. The ideal coach’s I think we could bring in would be Brian Billick or even better Bill Cower. At this point Steve Mariucci(probablly spelled that wrong) would be an improvement. How cool would it be to see Shanahan go to offensive cordiantor with Bill Cower as the head coach and Brian Billick as the defensive cordinator. Its not like were bracking the bank with all the stars that Denver has so what the hell, lets do it
I am loving this. I am gonna miss Pittman tho. that guy was a work horse and nice in the short pass game. Andre Hall…Don’t care. This is how I see things
1. When selvin comes back it will be him and torain 1, 2 punch. We have Hillis to do what Pittman used to with the short catches (he showed flashes of brilliance, hopefully he develops nicely and that wasn’t a one time thing)
2. Torain was originally gotten for those short gains which Pittman helped us with, so I think it will work well for him to take up Pittman role and more.
3. (I digress) I was a fan of quick six. He might not have been the typical bronco style runner we have known and utilized the past couple of years but his style and speed works well with this NEW O-LINE that excels in Pass blocking and not so much in run blocking. we have to adapt our run style to fit O-line. Only Hamilton remains from that great O-Line i believe.
4. frees up space for us to pick up someone…anyone to help us defensively or something….I dunno, maybe Barrett? with Mccree slightly injured and Lowry not doing much.

STOP HATING ON CUTLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You people are so ignorant to the fact that these guys have to play as a TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could you be any more blind that this is the only way they can win games. This is what they have to do to be successful and play effectively.
As for the injuries, Pittman I think is the biggest loss to us out of these two. But hopefully, The All-Torain Vehicle will be able to come in by Thursday and get more playing time as the games come. When he gets his chance to really do something, he’s going to be a ball of fire that cannot be stopped. Its gonna be awesome to see him at his best. Our offense will be better off with his help. Cutler still has some big weapons to use in Marshall, Stokley, Scheffler (if he comes back anytime soon). Great things will happen for this team…. just hold in your negative comments, bite your own tongue because you’re gonna be eating your own words when we get better.
All you half-hearted fans need to change your mentality of this team… either support this team ALL the way (win OR lose) or get lost. I’m sure the Chargers and/or Raiders would love some half-hearted football fans like you, especially you Detroit Reggie - you’re outside your mind thinking we should trade Cutler.
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!
Lets put this in perspective. We just got worked at home by a team that won 1 game last year. They have the same record as us because they do not play in our pathetic division. Our players are not stepping up but our coaches are surely not stepping up. They were placing everyone in the box yesterday and why did we not do more bootlegs?
you are right cutler is a young quarterback but eli manning, rothlisberger and brady were playing far some better than him. Cutler has a lot of support from the OL from the team and specially from shanaham I think it is time he should be playing better and stop doing silly mistakes, royal and marshall are probably the best tenure receivers in the league
It is pretty clear that we are headed in a downhill direction. This is definitely a make or break game for the Broncos this Thursday in Cleveland. They badly need a win and with the defense injured and not playing very well, Denver’s offense needs to step up. We really need to overcome all of this adversity handed to us this season or we might not make the playoffs again. With injuries to key players like the Bailey Bros., Pittman, Hall, Selvin, Scheffler have hurt us deep. With Cutler making some young gun mistakes, and the defense not doing its job, Denver does not look in good shape. The mixture for success is to limit penalties, and turnovers both, which have screwed us up the worst, and for the D to play just good enough so the Offense can score some points. If we can do these things we might be in good shape, but if we don’t we may see this young team finish with another disappointing season. Lets Go Broncos!
C’mon look at the facts the broncos are a young team and it shows. We cant get on cutler because he’s thrown a few int’s him and B-marsh are by far the best thing thats happened to this team since elway. Also Cutler has thrown at least one TD in every game This season. Yesterday he threw for 2 TD’s and more than 300yds oh yea and there was no running game. Detroit-Reggie what the hell more can you ask from someone who has no running game to weaken the coverage. our O is so fun to watch but only when we’re healthy. We have probably more injuries than any other team in the legue.
Our D needs some help but we don’t need to go looking for better players we have to get a new coordinator. we have as much talent on our D as any other team in the NFL we just dont use it how we should.
Last MOTIVATION!!!!!!! LETS GO!!!!! the broncos can take any team in the league so why do I always question us in every game. We can’t get up 21-3 and let teams back in and we cant get down and quit. The coaching staff needs to find something cuz the Broncos are playing flat
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!
first of all… i just have to say to all the cutler doubters out there… STOP WHINING! you are probably the same people that thought we should trade elway after his first few years. The quarterback position in the NFL
I don’t know if you should be as worried as my team… The Dallas Cowboys are screwing themselves…
first of all… i just have to say to all the cutler doubters out there… STOP WHINING! you are probably the same people that thought we should trade elway after his first few years. The quarterback position in the NFL is probably one of the most difficult. you live and die alone! jay is in a slump right now, no one is denying that. but keep in mind, when our run game was doing well, so was jay!! the number one problem i see with our offense is the running game! lets face it, 12 running attempts is NEVER GOING TO GET IT DONE! we need to commit to the run again. there was a time when shanny never would have gave up on it, but he seems to have no faith in our running game. when you are pass run ratio is nearly 4 to 1 there is something seriously wrong with the game plan. it seems to me like shannahan is trying to force jay out of this slump rather than take some pressure of him with the run game! i think that is the wrong approach. im not saying we need to baby him, hell he is a professional quarterback!! but i want to say it again… if we fix the run game, the passing game will improve! when teams know we are not going to run the ball, they are going to just keep game planning against jay to the demise of the broncos 2008 season! but i think thats enough for that rant.
next, i said it last week, and im going to say it again… we need a defensive leader on the line, or at the linebacker position…. especially i think at LB. our defense has not been the same since al wilson left! champ is a great leader on our defense, but he is not who we want smackin half backs in the mouth, meeting them in the hole, or meeting them at the line and standing them up for no gain! but that being said, i thought our defense played a bit better last night. of course we could go no where but up! im not sure we are going to make the playoffs this year, but the thing about the nfl is that there is always another season!
as for shanahan, i love him! i have stuck by him through some pretty lean years, but the last few seasons have begun to shake that trust. if we see him go, and thats a big if, i would like to see some one with a bit more defensive mind. to be honest, i would really like to see gruden come in. but of course that is all conjecture. as i said i think shanny is a great head coach, and i will be very sad to see him go if he does. but sometimes you just need to shake things up!
of course we still have 8 more games, are leading the afc west, and have a chance to turn things around. it all starts with cleveland. hopefully DJ will get healthy soon, because we do need our leading tackler on the field. GO BRONCOS!!!
For all those hating on Cutler, let me remind you of these numbers 22 TD 23 INT, those are Elways numbers from his 3rd year in the league. When Elway was young he thought he could make every pass because of his strong arm and I believe Cutler does a lot of that. As far as the running game it starts up front and while they have done a GREAT job pass blocking I just don’t see the line being that physical in run blocking. The RBs are getting hit right away and don’t have a chance to cut back. As for everybody that wants to bring in a defensive coach just remember that coach will still have to deal with the lack of talent on that side of the ball. This team desperately needs to draft a safety in the next draft, I’m just not sold on Barrett he may end up being a good player in a year or two but we saw him play against some 2nd and alot of third teamers. If he was that good I think someone would have signed him off our practice squad. Just like the Giants did with D Hixon a couple of years ago.
Lastly, when you start to get down on the Broncos it could be worse, we could be a Raider fan. They had NEGATIVE yards in the FIRST HALF and didn’t get a First Down until 7 minutes into the 3rd quarter. Oh and THEIR QB was 6 for 19 for 31 yards and a INT. GO BRONCOS!!!!!
Its just getting worst like usual! WE R FINISHED! we will get the wildcard and lose in my opinion! defense sucks, offense is shutting down! ive been watching the Nuggets and their not doing good either wat is with Denver Sports?????? Culter better stop throwin INT’s or denver will be all over him! Come on Broncos! please!
IN order to compete:
Sign a running back
Sign a DE (Cause the ones we have r useless)

Our players are not stepping up but our coaches are surely not stepping up. They were placing everyone in the box yesterday and why did we not do more bootlegs?
————-
So did the 5-2 Buffalo Bills. Who have a similar young offense and a MUCH better defense. We lost to a team that is playing great football with a pretty much whole new roster not a team that won 1 game last year.
Oh and they also smoked the same New England Patriots who smoked us. They were the better team going into it and we played very well in my opinion.
A few less calls their way and a few more for us and we might have won the game but move on and I look forward to celebrating a broncos win in Cleveland in three days.
Mike Anderson is a free agent…so is Ron Dayne….
I would like to see a little attention to pass deffence. Champ can shut one side of the field down and we still cannot stop the pass. We have an issue. I know how cornerbacks like zone deffence because they can read the QB better but when its 3rd and 4 and we got cornerbacks 10 yards off the ball thier going to get a 1st down every time. Not bashing Paymah but, or the deffensive cordinator but how many time’s does this have to happen before somethings said?
ron dayne ready to rumble in denver again !!
GOSH IT MAKES ME HOT WHEN YOU GO OFF LIKE THAT 07elway!
Ok it isn’t shanny that turns no name backs into great ones, I mean look at all the backs we produced, let go to another team and they don’t do anything! It is the zone blocking scheme we run. That being said our line is not the same line it was then, and these guys are young and need some time to develop into the denver line of the past. It will happen as long as Shanny is still at the helm. So stop thinking and talking a new coach, his job security is the same as Jerry Sloan’s for the Utah Jazz, and will only leave when he retires! I don’t think we need a new D cordinator, despite what most of you say. Cowher or Billick would be cool, but that’s not an immediate fix like you are thinking, we just need some consistency at the D cordinator position so that the team can learn and develop in the system. They have gone too many years with having to learn something completely new that going another year would be terrible all over again. PLUS THEY HAVE CONSISTANTLY IMPROVED THIS YEAR! Hall is a lot bigger loss than most of you said, one of you pointed out all the dirty jobs he does. He is great at that, and like slostenracing said about the bears game last year where he errupted for 98 yards when they called his number, ALSO NOTE THE TENNESEE GAME last year? He broke that 60 something yarder for a TD to regain momentum and put us back ahead. Pittman is a loss, but I think really its because of the depth that scares me now. 2 running backs is not where I wanna be, they take such a beating. We don’t need a big name back, because our system isn’t what it used to be. I think Shanny needs to stop taking it so easy on the guys in practice, it seems like someone is always getting injured on a nothing hit play. I really don’t want to keep going back up and reading posts to make my points, so all I am going to say from here is Detroit Reggie has posted the same thing on every blog, guys he is obviously a fan of another team and just wants to demolish hope, and establish hope of his own that whatever team he roots for will get a player like Cutler. That being said go back to painting rainbows in california where it’s legal, you are not welcome here!
Hold onto the ball offense, maintain your gaps defense, and keep the faith TRUE FANS!
Oh ya one more thing, being a little superstitious here I guess, but can we stop repeatedly begging for certain backups and practice squad guys to get their chance? It seems each time you keep begging, it happens but with our best player at that position being injured, and not the one you wanted to get replaced. Our team is good, they just need to mature and mesh as a team, injuries cause too much damage, not just while the player is out, but in the following weeks after he comes back to get that groove with the other players again.
GO BRONCOS!
I THINK WE SHOULD SIT OUT DOOM AND EKUBAN FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND SEE WHAT ELSE WE HAVE TO OFFER
Mike Anderson cannot play in the NFL this season, he is suspended for a year for violating the NFL’s Substance Abuse Policy for the third time. Mike Bell will not be back with the Broncos, he got into Shanahan’s doghouse last year and was only let out when he was cut this preseason. Bell became a fumble waiting to happen in 2007. Ron Dayne will probably not be signed either. The Broncos most likely will move P.J. Pope from the practice squad on to the active roster before Thursday.
Further, trade Cutler? Are you kidding? Look at Elway’s interception problems his first three years in the NFL and he turned out just fine. Cutler just needs to relax, enjoy himself out there and be a little more humble. Big Ben was blessed with an incredible defense and a great running game his rookie season, all he had to do was manage the game with short throws mixed with lots of runs because he knew his boys on defense would not give up big plays or lots of points. Further, Eli Manning did not start out so hot in the NFL from 2004 through most of 2006. Many in New York thought he would be a bust. He finally put it all together at the end of the season last year, which was his FOURTH in the NFL. Cutler has only played 29 NFL regular season games thus far. Give it some time, folks. The Broncos are a very young team. We were spoiled early on by some outstanding offensive performances that got our hopes way up for the season when most of us knew that this year was definitely a transitional year. Add to the list mounting injuries and one can see why Denver is struggling.
My final note is this… Bill Cowher will never coach the Broncos. I don’t think Mr. Bowlen will give another coach the dual role over personnel and head coaching again, which is what Cowher wants. Further, Mike Shanahan would never accept a demotion to offensive coordinator while Cowher head coaches the Broncos. Finally, Brian Billick is not a candidate for defensive coordinator. He made his name as an offensive coordinator, he and GM Ozzie Newsome just made some great pickups in drafts and via free agency to enable the Ravens to have some of the best defensive lineups in recent memory teamed with great defensive coordinators in Marvin Lewis and Rex Ryan.
I agree BroncoBoy1993. If Denver’s offense had an Adrian Peterson or still had Clinton Portis, it would do wonders. First, it would make defending Denver much more difficult because defense’s would have to pick their poison on if they would stack the box or not, which would either leave them vulnerable to big runs, or big pass plays down the field depending on which strategy they employed. Second, it would take a lot of pressure off the defense because Denver could control the clock and eat up time at the end of games.
Let’s see what Ryan Torain can do. He will get his time now. Once he gets his game conditioning in, it will be interesting to see if he can be the guy. He has a nice eight game tryout coming up.
Guys, don’t worry. Detroit Reggie is just a Lions fan that is more interested in bashing OUR team than watching HIS team, the 0-8 Lions! Ya, I just said it so you can STFU “Detroit Reggie”
I would like to reprimand my previous post. It is only half way through the season so the playoffs aren’t out of the picture JUST yet. It just seems like when it rains it pours for the Broncos and the fans. I will always stay true to the orange and blue no matter what the outcome, I have for 25 years.
Why would we trade Culter? I know I’ll be honest I haven’t been too impressed with his play lately. I think sometimes he plays like Big Mistake Jake, but he is still young. Sometimes I think he is trying too hard to be the next Elway. He’s got a lot of talent and greatness will come if he takes the time to learn and keep progressing. There’s a lot more maturing that needs to be done.
I think we can get it done with the Brownies. Hopefully if we do, that will provide a spark under our A$$ that we so desperately need.
My man… I don’t even know what to say to that!!! You sure know what to say to make a girl speechless, seriously it took me an entire day to try and figure out how to respond to that - TWICE!! You know you said it on here and on the other blog, don’t ya??
As for football… I’m excited for Thursday, I’ve got a good feeling about this game. We have to come off strong or our ship is gonna start to sink. I don’t want to see this TEAM go belly up!! And again, this season is NOT over. We’ve got some hard-headed “people” around here - give this young TEAM a frickin’ chance!! Calm down and be patient. Patience is a virtue my friends - being patient will come with a reward out of this team. Hold your silly comments till our season is officially over - you do know that’s in January or February, don’t ya?? Depending on playoffs, that’s when the season is over for teams, I thought you “football fans” would know that, guess not. Even my dog knows that!!
Hopefully both sides of the ball for us will get some motivation going and get rid of any friction that may be going on b/w any of them. I expect to see this TEAM play like a TEAM on Thursday. I want to see how many sacks our D like Dumervil & Ekuban can put on Quinn. Should be a good show to watch. Crush ‘em Orange & Blue!!
Keep the faith Broncos Country…
GO BRONCOS!!!
At this point we can’t blame the player’s. This is the third year that we’ve been on the decline and will most likely miss the playoff’s with a record that would make last year’s look great. ITS THE COACHE’S. GET OUT OF DENVER SHANAHAN. You are personally responsible for the Broncos downfall. Why did you feel the need to get rid of Plummer? What a AFC championship game and 2 or 3 of Elways team records broken not good enough for you. He had problems but not as many as Cutler has. Where did Larry Coyer go and where the hell is Al Wilson. No wonder Lynch wanted out. I would want to leave to. Bill Cower or Brian Billick needs to move in and Shanahan needs to move out. I said it once and i’ll say it again. MIKE SHANAHAN IS NOTHING WITHOUT JOHN ELWAY. One playoff win in ten years is pathetic, borderline inappropiate. Need i say more?
R@iderH@ter_777 - No you don’t need to say more, so stop talking. And it’s not all Shanahan’s fault either. You and so many others are so oblivious to the fact, PROVEN FACT, that its a TEAM effort… coaches included!!! And Lynch wanted out because we never gave him the chance that he wanted to prove himself to be a starter this season… but NOOOOOOOOOOO all of you insisted we get rid of him and for what… McCree… what has he done this season that’s been so earth-shattering?????? Would love to hear the answer to that one. Bring it on.
No one is personally responsible except for the TEAM as a WHOLE!! I’m gonna repeat that over and over and over and over till its makes all of you go insane!! You know its true.
Have faith Broncos Country…
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!
I completely agree with you 07elway.
Get rid of Shanny? Trade Cutler? The things some of you write is unbelievable! First off, comparing Jake the Snake to Cutler is ridiculous. This is Cutler’s 2nd full season. How many years had Jake been in the league when he came to our team? This team has a bright furture ahead of them with Cutler as QB. Too many of you arm chair QB’s want to criticize, yet I don’t see you out there every Sunday trying to make a play. Shanny is nothing without Elway. Are you freaking kidding me? It’s a team sport, coaches included. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Elway didn’t win a SB until Shanny came along and got him a great supporting cast, which is exactly what Cutler needs. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, no QB in this league will be successful without a running game and a defense that makes the big play when the big play is needed. This team needs continuity in the coaching staff.
Go Broncos! I’m looking forward to Thursday night regardless of all the BS smack talk.
First off, what the Broncos need to look ahead to is the 2009 draft. They MUST draft a running back in the first round (I dont even know why they traded Portis, who is clearly a top 3 running back in the league) I mean sure they got Champ Bailey, who is my favorite player and probly the best CB in football, but Portis was too elite to trade, but anyways, yea they gotta grab a RB in the first round, and then they should trade for another first round and get big DT or a solid LB, I mean lets face it, that defence is terrible, theres nothing they can do, especially wit Champ Bailey AANNNDDD to make matters worse, DJ williams is out.. I love the Broncos, but they gotta atleast get that running game and offence goin again, and soon!!!
Pittman is a beast, Hall fumbles all the time, and Torain is a rookie coming off an injury in college at ASU, not looking good, but what if Torain emerges as this year’s Ryan Grant? This could just be a good thing.
