TRB, the big difference is most of us are educated, most of the players are not, so I can say they are acting like a bunch of morons as much as I want, haha.

  2. strandoftds says:

    LMFAO!!

  3. broncosfreak30 says:

Yea I just watched one of his videos where he came out to the press and talked about the union and you can DEFINITELY tell that he isn’t on board with this deal getting done!! You can just tell that karma will catch up to him one day and it isn’t going to be good!! Let’s get this deal done tonight! I think 128 days is LONG ENOUGH!!!!!!!

  4. strandoftds says:

Freak, whats up dude? I`m ready for some FOOTBALL!!!!

  5. baylinorcrush says:

Since you guys know I loathe the pro bowl, I thought I would post this great alternative from this Paul dude:

•Abolish the Pro Bowl: Paul Kuharsky is right on when he says there’s no sense in playing the game itself. There would still be Pro Bowl honors for players. Kuharsky: “Guys who make the team still get pineapples with the year on them in their media guide bios. They still get a week in Hawaii — the week AFTER the Super Bowl. Rather than practices, they participate in clinics and charity events. Then, rather than the game, there is a live skills competition Sunday afternoon. Quarterback target practice. A skill position race to establish the league’s fastest man. A linemen lift to find the strongest.” The dynamics that make football compelling simply aren’t there during all-star games.

  6. baylinorcrush says:

    My name is Karma, haha.

  7. strandoftds says:

The Pro Bowl is freaken boring. After watching a play or two I`m done. Whats the point? It`s for the honors I guess.

  8. strandoftds says:

    I hope she`s cute. LOL

  9. baylinorcrush says:

    No, Karma kicks arse.

  10. broncosfreak30 says:

Well then Bay you need to go and introduce yourself to Demaurice Smith….he really needs to meet you right about now! Haha.

What’s going on Strand, my brotha, I am DEFINITELY ready for some football. I’ve been reading all of the blogs the whole off season but haven’t been posting much because it really wears on me and stresses me out about the whole situation!! Haha, everyone on here knows that I am always on all the time when this kind of stuff isn’t happening. Just with me dying to see this coming season and a deal not done yet, it’s really got my blood pressure high! They need to get this deal done tonight! It is us, the fans, who give the sport of football life and it is time that we FINALLY get what we want and that is a done deal!! Signed, sealed, and dang delivered!!!!!

  11. broncosfreak30 says:

    Yes it does Bay!!

Karma can be a bitty if you aren’t careful! That’s why I live life every day with respect for everyone because I do not want karma to come and bite me in the arse later on down the road!!

  12. broncosfreak30 says:

And I definitely hope that none of our players are in the pro bowl this year because that would most likely mean that we are going to the Super Bowl!! :) Hey, a man can dream can’t he??

  13. broncosfreak30 says:

And do not know if y’all have seen this yet or not but apparently Mr. Royal is already 100% ready to go into this coming season!!

    http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos/2011/07/21/eddie-royal-already-100-percent/7885/

  14. broncosfreak30 says:

Also, this interested me a little bit about Moreno!

    http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos/2011/07/21/lighter-knowshon-attends-camp-landow/7882/

Apparently he is down to 200 pounds now. I hope that means he is much faster than he was before! Kind of scares me that he is all the way down to 200 pounds.

  15. baylinorcrush says:

Yeah, that’s the good news in that article, the bad news is Demaryius sure to miss half the season. Someone the other day posted that we wouldn’t see all that much of Decker this year since Fox hardly ever uses three receiver sets, could be different here but it got my attention. Royal and Lloyd should get most of the work with Gaffney and Decker as back ups is my guess, but I really would like to see my boy Willis get a decent shot but with Fox it’s probably too much to ask, really like Willis though, hopefully Fox will learn to like him to.

  16. baylinorcrush says:

NoShow Moreno, nothing I haven’t already said there…

  17. broncosfreak30 says:

Yea, Willis will have to step up like he did last preseason to get everyone’s attention! He completely tore it up in the preseason last year! Hopefully he comes out and does it again this preseason and hopefully gets some playing time in the regular season! I would like to think Decker will get some good playing time just because McCoy will still be the OC and Fox has said that the offense if McCoy’s system to run so we will see what happens with everything I guess, hopefully sooner rather than later!

  18. baylinorcrush says:

That’s awful news since he couldn’t physically handle the task at 212….

  19. broncosfreak30 says:

    Yea Bay,

Apparently he said that he’s been working out extremely hard so let’s just hope that his speed has gotten much better because I do not know how he’s going to take those hits now when he couldn’t take those kinds of hits at 212. I think he will be much faster this year and something tells me that he’s really going to shine this season. Maybe with us bringing in someone like DeAngelo will light a fire under his arse and he will automatically get it done. Let’s face it, Moreno hasn’t had any competition to compete against. Maybe this is what finally pushes him to reach his full potential!

  20. caramelloo says:

I say Moreno needs to put up or move on this year. Of course whenever the season starts! Man I still wish the Saints would’ve been fools and not resigned Pierre Thomas. Moreno needs to get that SEC mentality back when he was one of the most dominant RB’s in college. He’s had his rookie rub, his sophomore slump, and now it’s time to show something for extended games.

  21. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Im pretty sure the peopel of Hawaii would have somethign to say about that. Lets face it thats the only game they get and im sure they worked very hard to get it back in Hawaii. I personally think they deserve a team but they are so far and might not have enough fans and support to warrant that as a logical business deal. Besides, NFL will not wanna give up the revenue that the Pro Bowl brings which is probably more than a skills competition would even tho that sounds like a great idea. Pro Bowl is watered down football. No one really tackles, the playbook is fool proof, and no one takes it seriously. It is fun in the sense that you see some plays you wouldn’t see usually but now that its before the superbowl and superbowl players dont get to go to hawaii … its even more pointless.

As far as Knowshon slimming down, I love it. Doesn’t need the weight anymore since he will have RB help and will be the 3rd RB. When he had the weight he didn’t have enough power and was still slow … hopefully he is faster … and hopefully we can salvage a first round pick. Time will tell. DT or as i like to call him Paper Mache on the other hand was a waste. While i do kick butt with him in Madden, in real life his acquicision was unecessary and he is always hurt. Pouncey woulda gone a longer way. O well spilt milk. I hope he can recover from the injury, i hear its a career threatener, him and White. Willis needs a shot. He is already almost 30. I prefer him over Gafney personally and thats no knock on Gaffney. Hope we see Decker but like u said, not many 3, 4 WR formations. TRB out…

  22. 1nOnlyTRB says:

at 212 tho Baylin he was handling a full load in a power ground and pound. Now he will only mainly be a 3rd down dude so health wise he should be fine. Chris Johnson is pretty light and handles a full load and rarely gets hurt. Sure he is faster but he does take alot of hits. So weight only won’t help injury … just good conditioning and alot of luck. Lets hope he is well conditioned and some how became irish LOL … TRB out….

  23. broncosfreak30 says:

    Hey TRB,

Do you play Madden on Xbox Live? If so, what is your gamer tag??

  24. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Also just read this. man people jump to conclusions … time will tell

Mike Klis of the Denver Post now expects Knowshon Moreno to enter the season as the Broncos’ starting tailback.

Over the past few months, Klis’ colleagues at the Post have repeatedly painted the picture of Moreno as a third-down back under new coach John Fox. The gears changed Thursday, with Klis suggesting the Broncos will add a “1B-type” of back to “complement” Moreno. We’re not sure what’s changed, but it could be a realization that DeAngelo Williams will be tough to pry away from Carolina under a flexible cap with a 72-hour exclusive negotiating window. As we’ve stated all offseason, Williams may be the only available back able to beat out Moreno in a fair competition.

  25. baylinorcrush says:

De Smith and Roger Goodell have been on phone the past hour, trying to work out a way to lift lockout if both sides approve deal tonight.

NFL could open facilities as early as Friday so players can use them to discuss issue and sign union cards needed for recertification.

  26. 1nOnlyTRB says:

I play Madden on Xbox Live … gamer tag is “Ikhide” …. if u played on Xbox360 as well we should friend and play sometime. I have both madden 10 and 11 and will probably get 12. I have one from every year since like the begining but im sure we both have either 10 or 11 lol. TRB out…

  27. baylinorcrush says:

Where the heck did whoever get that news that Klis said that which I never read anywhere???

  28. 1nOnlyTRB says:

owners ratified to end the lockout btw…

  29. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Baylin, like i said, jumping to conclusions. its from the slimmer knowshon moreno article because they said they would at a “1b type” (dunno what that means) … but apparently that makes knowshon a likely starter or osmehting…who knows lol.

  30. baylinorcrush says:

My question is where did you find this:

Mike Klis of the Denver Post now expects Knowshon Moreno to enter the season as the Broncos’ starting tailback.

  31. 1nOnlyTRB says:

that was part of the article

    http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/43846045/ns/sports-player_news/

well if u can even call it a article. nothign but jumping to conclusion like i said. TRB out…

  32. baylinorcrush says:

Actually the way I hear it is owners ratified the new deal now if the players agree with it too they will lift the lockout, right?

  33. baylinorcrush says:

Talk about a messed up whatever, on NBC sports, no writer and it says from DP?!?!?! You really have to be a hardcore Moreno fan to post stuff like that, LOL. We are better than that here and I definitely know you are.

  34. 1nOnlyTRB says:

yea i believe so, assumign the players agree because they cant agree without being a union. or they can agree but just because they agree doesnt make it binding not unless they are a union but it just means that they agree to the terms incase they do get reunionized. Or some crazy legal nonsense like that.

  35. baylinorcrush says:

That would be easy enough to write up and have the players abide to it no matter what way the legal stuff goes later, what’s of the essence is that the players agree to the new deal now, period.

  36. broncosfreak30 says:

    Yea TRB…

I play Xbox Live and my gamer tag is, go figure, broncosfreak7. We will definitely have to play and partner up and everything! I am also getting Madden 12 and it looks pretty nasty compared to 11. I am very excited but am just frustrated that they moved back the date to August 30th!!

  37. baylinorcrush says:

You guys want to know exactly how stupid players are:

Nate Webster, a former Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals linebacker has been indicted on sex-related charges involving the teenage daughter of a former Bengals assistant coach.

I mean, come on, a teenager, and the teenager of one of your coaches, my gosh, words escape me….

  38. royalbroncofan1 says:

Mike Klis at DP writes….. “Eddie Royal at 100%”

“Do not place Eddie Royal alongside Demaryius Thomas in the group of injured of Broncos receivers.

Thomas is expected to miss at least half the season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon.

Put Royal in the healthy group that includes the likes of Brandon Lloyd, Eric Decker and Jabar Gaffney. Royal had hip surgery in February by Vail’s Dr. Marc Philippon, who has performed similar operations on the likes of Alex Rodriguez, Kurt Warner and Brandon Marshall.

“I’m ready to go,” Royal said after running routes for quarterback Brady Quinn following conditioning workout Thursday at Valor Christian High School. “I will not miss a day of practice. I can’t wait to get out there and run through these plays and get back out there with the guys.”

Royal had 59 catches in a bounce-back season in 2010, but only two in his final three games as the hip that had been bothering him all season became increasingly a problem. Besides his position as slot receiver, Royal has also been the Broncos’ top punt returner the past three seasons”.

  39. 1nOnlyTRB says:

cool freak. you should have a friend request waiting for u on xbox live.

  40. baylinorcrush says:

Thanks rbf1, freak30 had the link above and another from this afternoon’s DP, really busy there, like they just had 5 or 6 articles, all discussed above, just in case you were going to post them all, LOL.

  41. baylinorcrush says:

Roger Goodell confirmed that the HOF game cancelled.

  42. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Also yea im excited about madden 12. looks like a good one. madden 11 was pretty weak but i got used to it. Prefered 10. 12 looks to be good as far as animation, gameplay, group tackles, player morale and all those additions. Should be good. My philosopy is they only create a good one every 2 years. 10 was good, now 12 should be and after that probably 14 lol. TRB out.

Yea bay, i read about webster, pretty dumb. a teenager too. thats a lil creepy. im 22 and the thought is pretty creepy (not just because its illegal). Now what would posses a 33 year old man to do such a thing with a 15 year old. Not a 17 year old who may have lied and said she was 18 or “looked 18″ but a 15 yr old. Dumb stuff. But not only players do it. Many do it. They just dont get caught and when they do its not publicized. I get your point tho.

  43. 1nOnlyTRB says:

No HoF game? wow, NFLPA is truly just happy to sabotage stuff.

  44. baylinorcrush says:

In email to player reps, NFL demanding that NFLPA re-form as a union and provide evidence by Tuesday, July 26.

To me it sounds like the NFL is going to lift the lockout and if the players don’t perform by Tuesday, they will shut it back down.

  45. royalbroncofan1 says:

Thanks bay, I missed that one! No I wasn’t going to post them all. LOL.
I’m just glad to read Eddie’s good to go. He’s been over at Red Rocks working out with a few other players as well.

  46. baylinorcrush says:

Yeah, it’s a big plus to look forward to.

  47. baylinorcrush says:

We’ve been busy as heck here but I think we got it all covered.

  48. royalbroncofan1 says:

So free agency tentatively set for next Wednesday, provided NFLPA or Smith and members vote in favor this evening.

  49. royalbroncofan1 says:

Of course they may decide not to vote this evening. Never know what the winds gonna blow in with those troops.

  50. broncosfreak30 says:

    Alright cool TRB…

I am at the beach in Wilmington, NC now on vacation so whenever I get back home in Charlotte I will accept it and we can play!

Also, I have twitter and try to keep up with what the players tweet! It looks like, to me at least, that Thomas might be able to go sooner! He has tweeted that his workouts have been going great, numerous times. So it at least looks like he’ll be okay but we’ll never know until he’s back out onto the NFL field!!
