With the start of training camp just a few short days away, Knowshon Moreno has already made his way to the locker room at INVESCO Field at Mile High.
So while Moreno prepares to take to the fields at Dove Valley for hours at a time, on Monday, he encouraged children to get 60 minutes of daily physical activity.
The second-year running back spent the day working with the Western Dairy Assocation as a part of the NFL’s Fuel Up to Play 60 initiative.
The program, which encourages children to eat nutrient-rich foods along with an hour of daily physical activity, enlisted Moreno for a photo shoot, commercial and autograph session, in addition to recording announcements for schools that take part in Fuel Up to Play 60.
The announcements will not only be used locally, but across the country to help motivate students to stay active.
Moreno and his teammates will kick off training camp this Sunday, August 1. Broncos rookies will hit the field on Wednesday for their first “opportunity practice” of the summer.

Hey guys, I’m trying to make it to a game this year (born in Denver and since then moved to PA and have never been to a home game) and the tickets I have been looking at were for the Rams game up in section 503. I was curious if the seats up there are still good or if i should fork out more $ for a closer seat???
Trust me man, any seat at a Bronco game is the beast seat. GO BRONCOS!!!
I meant “best” , my bad
A4HOF, never been to Invesco but Mile High plenty and many other NFL stadiums, bottom line is all top level seats are nose bleed seats, in some stadiums it can right down make some people dizzy, but they are much more affordable. Since you are so far from the field I would recommend taking a seat at least between the thirty yard lines, because if you are in the end zone or a corner that far up, you’ll only enjoy your end zone, since the other one will be so far away, you’ll end up watching it on the big screen. Hope that helps.
Funny, Moreno teaching the kids how to eat properly to exercise, hopefully he takes some of that teaching home and eats much better himself to insure a season where he doesn’t run out of energy at year end like he did last year. That being said good to see Moreno involved with kids.
Decker just signed.
When it comes to Moreno most rookies hit the wall because they havent stopped playing ball all year practically. They have the college season, then train for the combine, some for a senior game then go to TC. He should be better for this year, physically wise. Hasnt played since last year, I believe thatr makes a big difference. Some people can handle it, other not use to it.
Klis was right on, he does have inside information rivaled by none that I know.
To be honest I thought Knowshon looked big and slow last year than he did in college. In that photo he looks more trim. And without the ankle injury I think he will do good things this year.
And yes Decker is signed.
That means Beadles will be signed by tomorrow.
Yeah, if Klis sources are correct, re-post:
The Broncos should finalize Decker’s four-year contract today, a deal which figures to include a bonus of $732,000, give or take a few dollars. Beadles’ contract is expected to be finalized by Tuesday. The Broncos hope the Tebow and Thomas deals will be completed in time for practice Thursday, and no later than the first full-squad workout that starts at 8:45 a.m. Sunday.
KFS, hopefully and then I think Thomas will be signed next with Tebow last.
I agree baylin, I believe that anke injury hindered him plenty all year. I predict 1200 yds rushing and 450 yards receiving. Sprinkled in with 12 TDs. What you think Bud?
Yeah that would be good with another 500 yards and a few TDs from bucky.
I’d love to have Klis’ job, being allowed to have access and know more about the organization than any of us fan will ever dream of. You know he must be liked around Dove Valley since he is always the one popping up with the best inside stuff, that guy is not only a decent writer but a great diplomat, pleasing the Broncos and the public, pretty cool stuff. I don’t even know why people bother getting info through the national media about our team when we have guys like Klis at the DP with the inside scoop on our team.
Yeah DP is good bay, a think McD has an open door for a few of the guys at DP.
1,200 yards would be only 200 and some more yards than last year, and last year Orton had Marshall, so yeah I would agree that we better have Moreno run at least for 1,200 to even look just half way decent offensively. But obviously, as I keep making that point, it is all about how the inside of our basically new O line, other than Kuper, will perform. Easier said than done, those guys in the middle hardly know eachother, that’s why I’m so worried about our O line this year, an O line takes a while to gel as we all know, not to mention the injuries to our Tackles.
I’m just psyched that on paper our D has been greatly improved, in my mind I’m starting to settle for holding teams well under 20 points to get our wins, like the Ravens once did, well probably not quite, but that’s how I see the odds of us winning games this year, with the D. And listening to McD, he keeps saying Moreno will be much improved this year, but not much else, as if he is resigned that not much more will come out of Orton this year and he will have to wait for Tebow to be ready to improve in the air department. Hope I’m reading all this wrong, but I’ve been at it for a while, and I might just be onto something, again hope not and the O kicks arse.
Yeah agreed, it hinges all on the O line. As for the D I am worried about ILB and the one OLB. DJ needs to play to his potential and not sure who will play next to him. Haggan is serviceable but not elite. And Akin let the lead in missed tackles last year. We need to also see better play out of Ayers or whoever starts on that side.
Here’s one for my Bronco Bros.

Go Broncos!!!
where’s the info on decker
thanks weareamr
Glad to help out my Bronco Bros. I’m a mini Bay. This guy sounds like a legit player. His talent has never been questioned. But hes known for his heart. Hence the 87 comparisons. like how how he spoke to the original 87 about his number.
Go Broncos!!!
Love me some Decker, I think he can be very good for us this year.
Atwater4
Where you sit is how you like the game. Up high is good to see plays —-play out if you know what I mean. You may not hear the smack of the pads but you will see the play! Defense and Offense. What’s your taste?
Never believed there is a bad seat at Mile High! Rock on!!
GO BRONCOS!!

Atwater
Where you from in Denver? I come from North High School off of Pecos and 48th. Walking distance from Mile High!
GO BRONCOS!!

McD doesn’t want to admit to Tebow that he might start him because then Tebow would expect starting QB type $, so McD gets Tebow to sign for backup QB $ and then in about the 5-6 game when the Broncos are 2-4, in comes Timtanium to save the day, low pay, Patriot way??
just a little tidbit, the guy ahead of Beadles in the draft has signed. Houston from the the Raiders.
haha, a friend of mine posted this on another site… here’s another reason for ya to really have a laugh at Rivers. Dude looks like an idiot. Have a look (laugh) for yourself. I say he looks like he aged quite a bit and now looks like a 50 year old biker (minus the tattoos). lol

Keep the faith Bronco Country…
GO BRONCOS in 2010!!!!
atwater… fyi… in mile high all the seats are set on an angle so that they are tilted towards the field… even 5th row is GREAT!! the players are smaller but you have a better view of the field so NO WORRIES!! if you can get seats for the same price a bit lower then pull the trigger but if you can dont fear my broncos bro… you WILL be happy!! and make sure you are there AT LEAST 5hrs before kickoff! tailgating is GOOD at mile high! i always park in the lot wth the broncos bus… the people i park across from bring 2 coolers full of orange and blue jello shots and 50 yds down is the broncos bus with donkey punch hourly!!!! SOOO MUCH FUN!!! let me know when you are headin and i may get lucky and have tickets the same weekend!!!
BRONC ON BRO!!!
Go Broncos
“THE BATTLE IS WON IN THE TRENCHES”
Haha 07elway, now that is funny, thanks to our good friend 80# for that haha.
Oh and i think it possible that Decker may have an impact BEFORE Thomas. i just feel than while he may not be quite as physically gifted as Thomas he is the more COMPLETE WR at this point! im feeling all nastalgic! its almost like the return of Eddie Mac and Rod Smith! Obviously they have some proving to do but i have a really good feeling about these 2 fellas!!
Go Broncos
“THE BATTLE IS WON IN THE TRENCHES”
Deckers track record indicates he’s injury prone, as he was unable to complete his last two seasons at Minnesota. Let’s hope he overcomes that hurdle. Should work out to be a very good possesion WR.
D. Thomas was also injured but he has big play potential and can take it to the house on any given play. His strong up body and separation speed will be unmatched. No doubt he’ll be a home run threat whenever his number is called.
both of these guys are going to make a difference! I see Decker as a solid 2nd string receiver and compliment to Bay-Bay, and if bay becomes a great route runner his potential is limitless! he is like a hybrid between B marsh and Andre Johnson! he is going to be fun to watch!
Hey does anyone know how Deckers foot is doing?
Yovi21, I think he is sweet, he has been working out in a camp with Fitzgerald.
Also funny the DenverBroncos.com hasn’t put this news up on the site yet.
Hey Atwater,
I will also be at that Broncos vs Rams game. It will be my first home game so I am VERY psyched!! Maybe we could meet up at some point and hang around the tailgating area. Either way, the game is going to be awesome!! My cousin is also going with me and he is a big Rams fan so it will be really cool seeing all the guys at home plus Tebow, Bradford, Deck, and Bay Bay in their first year in the NFL!!! We are sitting in the middle on the first level, I got lucky and one of my dads friends has some connections in Denver and got me the tickets!!
OC, there is always an exception to the rule, gotta keep dangling that carrot out there.
Kizla has an article where is goes on and on about the merit of Tebow signing his contract right away or not, mostly boring, but he has this part which is pretty funny, OC’s type of humor but alas not in favor of his fav Tebow, here it is:
Let’s be honest. At this point in Tebow’s career, the primary reason for him to be at Dove Valley has more to do with marketing than football. He’s more likely to suffer a dead arm from signing autographs than throwing passes. Why? The only way Tebow starts at quarterback in 2010 is if coach Josh McDaniels wakes up in London on Halloween and decides there’s a better chance of him playing guitar on a Beatles reunion tour than there is of the Broncos qualifying for the playoffs.
BTW, the marketing theory with Tebow started here first.
Update from Klis about Beadles and Tebow contract talks:
Several second-round picks agreed to deals Monday, and the Broncos should have Beadles locked up with a four- year deal today.
Then the Broncos will focus on getting Tebow into camp on time. The two sides are negotiating a five-year contract that figures to be worth about $12 million with roughly $8 million guaranteed.
There is a chance Tebow’s deal could be done hours before the first rookie practice Wednesday afternoon. It would be a surprise if negotiations last past Sunday morning.
Unfortunately the news about Demaryius are not so bright according to Klis also:
Thomas talks dragging.
Thomas undoubtedly will be the Broncos’ last rookie signed, in part because he is represented by Todd France. Based in Atlanta, France usually waits for the picks selected directly in front, and directly behind, his clients to sign their deals first.
France represents five rookies who were drafted in the first two rounds — Thomas (first round), Dan Williams (first), Nate Allen (second round), Carlos Dunlap (second) and Golden Tate (second). None have signed.
France did get deals done for Decker and fourth-round picks Jacoby Ford and Eric Norwood.
But those last three guys were all 4th round picks and Decker was just signed yesterday, I guess Klis is telling us not to be surprised if Demaryius is not signed by training camp after all, don’t you hate these sports agents, specially Bus Cook and now France?
OC regarding the Patriots way disregard my 6:30 am post, it was regarding the Doom signing, but I see now you were referring to your Tebow strategy signing theory.
What kills me in these signings is they should be so elementary, everybody knows basically what the teams will pay for each position in each round, this waiting for the last minute to try to get every last penny drives me bonkers, this is footbal, this is not Wall Street, BTW did I mention I hate all these sports agents, like Bus Cooks and Todd France, LOL.
Can’t wait for the money part of it to be settled, three to go I guess I can take it.
I’m glad we’re getting our rookies squared away. Hopefully we get it all taken care of, like baylinorcrush said, this happens every season it should be a cake walk. However you know with the CBA uncertainty and players and agents wanting more and more money..could get a little dicey.
Anyhow, I’m so excited for this all to start. I can’t wait for this season I’m pumped. I actually feel really good about this season. I think we’ll see some good things from our team….at least I hope. I want to watch the Chargers fans squirm as we pull their legs off like daddy long legs. LOL!!..ohh c’mon I’m not the only one that used to do that. Hahaha..
I can’t wait to see some updates throughout training camp. Man I’m ready for some football, not the drama part of it, but some football.
Go Broncos!!!!
Actually we’ve done away with all the drama part of it, Cutler, Marshall & Co. are no longer a distraction, this has been the business side of it as usual, just like every year but a bit rougher because of the uncertainty for next year’s labor contract. The Drama and the drama Queens are gone, long live the King. Thanks to McD for all that, now let see some improvements on the field and I’ll be ready to bow to the new ruler of this kingdom, LOL.
I REALLY wish Tebow and Thomas would sign…Rookie camp starts tomorrow! Has Perrish Cox signed? This is going to be a fabulous year for the Broncos…I feel it in my bones!!! I am sooooooo stoked for the season! Can’t wait for it to start!!! Broncos 4 Life!
Atwater4HOF
I am have been to many games at Invesco at Mile High, I am a season ticket holder. I do not believe there is a bad seat in the house. Yes with upper level seats you are high but have a much better view of the field. We are in the North endzone, on the aisle and high but I love it and have not had much interest to change. I would not like yard line seats because you are always looking over someone to the right or left depending where on the field the team is, in the endzone you have a straight forward view of the field at all times. I don’t think it is to far to see to the other endzone either. The only way I would change my season seats is if I could get closer but stay in the endzone and not in the middle of a row. Of course closer would be cool, but I think you will have a great time no matter what!
Cox was one of the first ones to sign, only unsigned left: Beadles, Tebow and Thomas.
Ya sd absolutely right. I usually find seats in the north endzone first level and LOVE them. Been to some good ones in that area.
Hey Atwater4HOF, I’m in PA, too. What town are you in?
