It takes a man to grow a mustache, and the Broncos are looking for a lot of them to help spread the word about Movember and raise awareness for men’s health issues.
For the next 30 days, several Broncos players will commit to growing a mustache to promote a discussion about men’s health. The facts are scary: one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime (the incidence rates are nearly double for African American men). Testicular cancer is also the most common cancer in American males between the ages of 15 and 35. However, both of these diseases are highly curable with early detection. This means guys need to shelve the tough guy image and talk about the importance of getting checked.
It’s simple, Movember aims to forever change the face of men’s health through the power of the mustache by raising awareness and funds for prostate and testicular cancer initiatives. The Broncos want you to register and join the Movember movement. We’ll provide updates on our Movember efforts on DenverBroncos.com all month long.
To get everyone on an even playing field, you have to start the month from scratch with a clean shave. Players participating went to Floyd’s Barbershop for an old fashioned straight razor shave. Check out the trip and who’s committing to Mo here. You can view pictures from the players getting straight razor shaves here.
You can check out the team’s official Movember page here, share with your family and friends and upload pictures of how your Mo is growing.
Movember is about real men growing real mustaches, talking about real issues. Help spread the word and to commit to grow your Mo this month.

Disagree DB. Champ is ageless. He has 5 years left (yes, I know how old he is and how crazy that sounds).
Does anyone else see a little Champ Bailey in Chris Harris?!? I love to watch Harris tackle now, as he uses Bailey’s Perfect tackling form! Bailey is the most complete DB in the league, followed by Charles Woodson and then Ed Reed in my opinion
Of course…I hope you are right.
Daddy is out…you all take care.
haha See ya DB. I think the only way he leaves next year is if we win a SB and he wants to leave at his prime not on the downward slope.
I think you are right… Chris Harris is not only learning from the best but i think with his hard work and how he takes coaching so well…. my assumption, by his improvement and his becoming more like bailey. Not only his perfect tackling form but also his playing the run.. he came up and made a few hits against NO.
He has the potential to become one of the best CFA’s we have ever had at Cb here!
I hope he becomes the next rod smith story as i have previously said..
Go Broncos.
