Surprise Visitor!
As I was returning from lunch today I was pleasantly surprised to find Domonique Foxworth (our 2007 Denver Broncos Man of the Year) at our office–just stopping by to say hi. Domonique has been such a wonderful player ambassador for our department and the Broncos Boys and Girls Club. It is always great to see him and get a chance to catch up–especially in the off season. Otherwise, we have to be satisfied reading his entertaining blog just like everyone else to find out what he is up to.
We chatted for a good while about the team, the teens at the Club and went over some designs from a local company–Performance Graphics–that will be painting a special mural featuring Darrent Williams at the new Darrent Williams Memorial Teen Center. Our entire department, along with Domonique and fellow teammate Nate Jackson have been working with the teens and Rick of Performance Graphics to come up with a very inspiring piece of art.
So Domonique and I chatted a bit as we looked everything over, he ran a couple of things by Champ over the phone (Champ was in Hawaii preparing for the Pro Bowl) and incorporated Nate’s imput through a few emails and now are all set to move forward with the mural.
What an exciting and productive Thursday afternoon! Anyways, Domonique says hi to Broncos Country…looking forward to updating you again soon!

Everything that is being done by the broncos’ in memory of the late Darrent Williams is truly inspiring. It is an amazing feeling to know that one man can still be making a difference even after his unfortunate departure. Keep up the good work, and know that all of you are making a much appreciated difference in the world.

still bothers me about Darrent Williams. I won’t put him to rest until his killer is caught! He was a ray of sun!

If Foxy isn’t commended by the league for his efforts outside of the Football pitch, then its an utter joke. What a selfless guy he is, and even though im nowhere near the Denver community (I like in Manchester, England) its so refreshing to see such effort given when it isn’t ‘required’ of him.

Great off the field work Fox. You are an asset to the community and represent the team well. I can’t remember too many folks that handle their business so well in uniform and in suit. What a class act. But afterall, you did this before you were a bronco in college and in HS. The main officer there have a good one in you, and hope they see this in signing u up for a big one.
