Hi Romi,

I had another question (how's that for a surprise)?

I was wondering about your very pretty name. No surprise there - beautiful names always seem to go with beautiful women.

Is Romi your full name or a nick name? And do you pronounce it with a long O (like the city in Italy) or a short O ?

And how about our Broncos? Getting back on track again - and maybe playoff bound !!

Don

Romi!!

Hello again...and thanks again for all you do in the community. I grew up in Colorado, born in Denver and raised just about everywhere... Northglen, Thornton, Greely, Gilcrest, Ft. Collins, Dinasaur, Grand Junction. I came from humble beginnings and we actually lived in a house that was built much like the habitat for humanity home, of course, it didn't exist back then. But with your support, a lot of family's get a chance to have a home... that may otherwise not have. So again, thank you!

I'm over in Korea now working with the U.S. military. I've never gotten a chance to meet you girls but, I hope you'll head this way someday. Until then, keep up the good work and GO BRONCOS!!

Hi Don,

Well its great to hear from you more than once! Like I said in one of my blogs, connecting with our fans is of utmost importance to us, and I feel so lucky that I am able to get to know you all better through this blog!

In terms of pre-game promotions, we don't find out where we will be until the Thursday before the game. So I will try to let you know before the next game!

Thank you so much for your compliments on the calendar. We work very hard all summer long to make the calendar the best it can be. Every year, Teresa manages to make it even more amazing than the year before. This year we had two photographers and each cheerleader took an individual shot. I think the changes we made this year have been so wonderful and have made the calendar the best yet!

And way to go raising your grandson as a Broncos fan!! Awesome!!!

Take care!

Hi Romi,

I really appreciate you and the other girls taking the time to answer all of our posts - even when they are "seconds" and "thirds" like some of mine. And it's great to know that you and your teammates are cool with taking pictures with painted up crazy fans. I'm not a teenager anymore, but I'm definitely going to do the paint up thing the next time we have warm weather - even if it's not until Fan Fare next spring.

So one way or another we'll try to catch up with you on the 23rd. Do you know yet where you'll be for that game ?

BTW, we got our 2009 calendar yesterday. I wanted to go to the calendar release party in August, but we had out of town company and were busy entertaining them. Romi, I'm just blown away by how these calendars seem to get more perfect every year. And your picture is absolutely phenominal. I've heard from a couple of the other girls about how much work goes into the calendar shoot - and making every shot perfect. I just hope you found some R&R time while you were there. So thanks to you and all your teammates for brightening the days of so many fans throughout the year.

And .... our two year old grandson in New Jersey said his first "Go Broncos" last weekend. Not quite the first words he's said ("mama" and "dada" came a while back) but it was fun to hear. Of course he had a little bit of coaching from his dad - a lifelong Bronco fan himself.

Well, I know you're busy so don't want to take up too much of your time.

Thanks for keeping in touch.

Hi Don,

Great to hear from you again! I'm glad you made it to the Barn. If you want to catch the cheerleaders there, we get there at 12:30 and leave around 1:15. So try to be there before 12:30 and you will definitely be able to see us! Also, we would be so happy to take a picture with a fan that is painted all crazy! We love to see our fans really get into the spirit! Also, the cheerleaders will still be at Gate 9 at the rest of the home games as well as the Barn, the team store, and the club levels. So hopefully we will see you at the next game!

Hi Again Romi,

In one of your earlier blogs you gave me some information about the Bronco Barn and asked me to let you know what I thought about it. I actually gave it a try yesterday. I definitely like a lot of the things they have going on there, but unfortunately I got there a little too late yesterday - about 1:00.

Of course, my top priority was to buy a calendar, meet a few of the cheerleaders and get some autographs. By the time I got in, I was just able to wave good bye to the girls as they headed into the stadium. Oh well, a wave is better than nothing.

When I heard the weather forecast for Sunday (sunny and temperatures in the 70's) I first decided I wanted to paint my chest with the Bronco logo for the game. And I even thought about asking a couple of the girls if they would be willing to pose for a picture with me - but then I got to thinking that might be just a little too crazy and decided against it. Don't know if you girls are OK with doing a picture with a guy looking that crazy or not?

I was really lucky when I got into the stadium and got to meet Jenn and Katie inside Gate 9. They were so friendly, engaging and genuinely glad to see all of us. And even more beautiful in person than in their pictures. None of this really surprised me, of course, every Bronco cheerleader I've ever met has been like that. Then I really wished I had brought my camera and had a calendar. Jenn and Katie were nice enough to sign the poster for me and would have been glad to do a picture as well. Of course, I told them how proud we, as fans, are of all you girls.

So I plan on buying a cheerleaders calendar before the Raiders game on the 23rd and hopefully getting some of the girls to sign it.

Romi, do you know if the promotions inside Gate 9 - and any other locations around the stadium will be going on at the other home games?

Thanks for keeping in touch with us. It's so much fun for us to keep up with you girls.

Romi- I think it's a great thing you do for the community with events like that. It show that there's a whole other side to cheerleading. By the way you are very, very beautiful. Keep up the good work.

Even though I'm a Utahn, I still appreciate your efforts. You are a beautiful person (and I'm not speaking of just your looks, although you are a gorgeous woman). Keep the faith. I expect a big victory over the Dolphins!
