If you’re not planning on making the trip to Seattle for the Broncos’ second preseason game, consider heading out to the The Track at Centennial for the Fifth Annual Race to Keep Kids on Track and the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders 2014 Swimsuit Calendar Release Party.
The event starts at 3 p.m. and lasts until dusk, don’t worry the Broncos don’t kick-off until 8 p.m. Tickets and more information are available at www.keepingkidsontrack.org. Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event. All in attendance will receive a free copy of the calendar, food and beverages.
Racers and teams can register to race go-karts for prizes and new this year, fans can buy raffle tickets for the chance to win a vacation for two to go along with the cheerleaders on their calendar shoot next summer.
Funds from the party and the raffle will be donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. Last year, with more than 700 fans in attendance, $28,000 were raised for the Boys and Girls Clubs. Since the event started it has raised $93,000 for the clubs.
In the past, former Broncos and Broncos Cheerleaders have raced against the public. This year’s s event is sponsored are GMC, AMR, Oakley, Wrangler, Uber, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Highland Tap and Burger, Rio Grande Mexican, Happy Cakes and Budweiser.
