Hello Broncos Country! So I know that we are all wearing big frowns now that our season has come to an end. It’s always hard to envision our lives without football for the next few months. But with the end of a season comes the excitement of preparing for a new one and improving upon our mistakes. And if it makes you feel better, just remember that we are not alone in our sadness – Detroit became the first team in NFL history to go winless and finish 0-16, and both New England, the defending AFC Champions, and Dallas, the preseason Super Bowl favorites, failed to clinch a playoff spot.
Delightful December!

Hello Broncos fans! December in Broncos Country has been exhilarating! So much going on and so much to look forward to, so I thought I’d touch on a few happenings – it’s too hard to pick just one!
Let’s begin with the Colorado weather - pouring snow last Thursday with no trace by 60 degree Sunday! At our practice last Thursday evening, Teresa told us to tentatively plan on wearing our chap uniform with our jackets for the first half and switch into our turtleneck tops under our jackets for the second half. A few ladies reminded everyone to bring hand warmers and gloves too. We definitely did not need hand warmers!
A Blessing in Disguise

Hello Broncos Country! I hope you were able to watch the game on Sunday even though it was at 11:00 a.m. instead of the usual 2:05 p.m.! The season thus far has seen many of our outstanding veterans become injured and unable to contribute on the field. And out of the adversity of this situation a rare phenomenon has occurred; the young players on our team have been given a unique opportunity. For some this may be the biggest challenge they have faced as athletes. Still trying to prove themselves as professional football players, they are being placed in new positions and unfamiliar roles and are expected to perform as well as players with years of NFL experience. This is an immense physical and emotional task, and I think the stakes are higher than many of us realize.
When a rookie makes a team, he knows that he may be a backup to one or two very strong veteran players. His focus for the year is to keep his roster spot by constantly improving. This year the mission at hand for our rookies has become a different one – assuming the roles of veterans and facing some of the biggest talents in the league at short notice. This past Sunday taught me a lot about the spirit and the character of our rookies - they may be new in the league, but when Coach Shanahan put them on the field, they delivered performances befitting our proud Denver Broncos Football Club and justified Coach Shanahan’s faith and trust in them. To be a professional football player, it takes more than muscles, speed, and physical endurance – it requires extreme mental strength. No matter how talented an individual may be, if he cannot endure the pressure, stress, and unexpectedness of a game, he simply cannot make it in this league. Sometimes it takes years to acquire the mental toughness needed to succeed in this league, but for our rookies, it is now or never.
The Bye-Week Buzz!

Greetings “Bye-Week” fans! I hope you all were able to fill your week with Broncos excitement even though we did not have a game this past Sunday. Though the week is not complete without a Sunday game, I am a big fan of the bye week because it allows our team to rest and assess what changes need to be made for the rest of the season. And the great news is that the Broncos tend to do very well after a week off the gridiron! Now, I must warn you that I am what some may consider a “crazy fan” — but I prefer to think of myself as a diehard fan! I have loved football since I was six years old, and every season I seem to get more and more involved. I think that knowing the history of the Broncos is not only exciting, but always comes in handy when opposing fans are trying to challenge your knowledge! So to start off this week’s blog, let’s go over a little Broncos trivia that may come in handy this Sunday!
Your Resident Rookie

Football season is finally upon us and it’s already been a wild ride! My name is Christina Connolly and this is my rookie year as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. I’ve always been quite the tomboy/sports-addict and I love watching football. As a Colorado native, the Broncos have been a big part of my upbringing, and I am a die hard blue and orange fan! Now I have the incredible opportunity and distinct pleasure of being down on the field watching the action first hand! What more could a football fan ask for?
I wish I could put into words how it feels to be down on the sidelines. We’ve had a few home games now and what an experience it has been! Being in the midst of all the action can definitely be a bit overwhelming but exciting nonetheless. You really get a feel for how hard those guys hit when you’re down on the field with them. One thing’s for sure, I am staying out of their way! We had a close call at the Broncos vs. New Orleans game. Before one of our quarter break performances, all of the cheerleaders were waiting behind the north end zone for the quarter to end. Brandon Marshall caught a pass and sprinted for, and straight through, the end zone. Fortunately we were all paying attention and quickly jumped out of his way as he ran straight for us. I’m just glad the wall is what stopped him instead of one of our cheerleaders!!
A Cheerleader’s Game Day

Hello Broncos Fans!! My name is Romi Bean, and this is my fourth season as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. I have to say that I enjoy it more and more each year! This year, there will be three cheerleaders rotating on this blog, so we can give you variety and different perspectives. Thanks to the extensive media coverage, it is easy for our fans to be involved and aware of the news, highlights, and rigorous practices of our Denver Broncos football team. Through the daily news, Jay Cutler Live, post game recaps and broadcasts and of course, the exciting Sunday match-ups, we can all keep our “Broncos I.Q.” very high.
In the spirit of boosting our “Broncos I.Q.” even higher, I thought I would talk about some of the aspects of being a cheerleader for the Denver Broncos. Connecting with our fans is of utmost importance to us, and hopefully you will all get to know us a little better by the end of this blog!
Front and Center

AAAaahhhhhhh my dear Broncos fans - What a start we have had. A 08/09 season that has graced us with its excitement, triumph and pride - all things that are not lost. This town homes a population of true fans and an organization that has honest appreciation of the support.
So here we are at the beginning of another season; a season that has us at 3 and 1 and many more exciting wins to come. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to have the best seats in the entire house. One of the countless surreal things about being a Denver Broncos Cheerleaders it the fact that we get to watch every single home game play front and center. Sometimes a bit too close as you get to bob and weave the players as the play extends the bounds, the refs and their watchful eye or the camera men that charge down the field after each and every play. It is a dangerous world out there on those sidelines…and I can tell you that we enjoy every second of it.
Broomfield REPRESENT!

Holy Cow! Broomfield really IS Broncos Country. We had another Flag Stop in Broomfield on Wednesday night and WOW! It was easily the most attended stop so far. Most guesses put attendance at about 3,000. We had the usual cheerleaders, Super Bowl trophies, Billy Thompson, and of course, yours truly.

Me trying to get some love from some skeptical young fans
Another Cheyenne Road Trip?
August 27th, 2007 - 5:17pm by MilesOther posts by Miles
Yes…kind of. This time it was to Cheyenne Wells, CO, which is just down the road (I-70) a little bit (about 3 hours east). Over the next couple of weeks we are heading to the four corners of Broncos Country to officially “plant the flag.” We’ve selected a few places that really embody and represent Broncos Country and are celebrating with the citizens. We bring with us the Super Bowl Trophies, Alumni, Cheerleaders, and of course…ME!
We leave them with their own Broncos Country flag that they will fly proudly on game day. We also have the people sign a flag that we bring back with us and display here at the stadium. Our first stop was a great one! Cheyenne Wells has about 1,200 people in it, and I swear that most of them came out to greet us. They even let the schools out of their first day to come show their Broncos pride. We met a ton of great people including the Mayor of Cheyenne Wells, Monte Baker.
Frontier Days Follow-Up — Pics Inside!

Like I said, we went up to Cheyenne Frontier Days on Saturday and I had a blast. What a great event. The Broncos fans up there don’t get to see us as much as some of you so they were totally psyched.
We did a signing, then hung out in the VIP tent (that’s how I roll!) then I messed around with the crowd at the rodeo and did a little slapstick with rodeo clowns. This, of course, was after we made our Grand Entrance. It was a little toasty, but the misters and a little help from fans kept me from foaming up too much. All in all it was a great day.
Thanks to all the people from Cheyenne Frontier Days. They really took care of us. And thanks to all the fans that showed up, Cheyenne is DEFINITELY Broncos Country!
